3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR NOVEMBER 25th, 26th & 27th 2022

THEME: "FASTING FOR SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH"

SCRIPTURE: Mark 9:29 “So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”

Precious saints no matter what you may be passing through at this time Jesus is still Lord. Whether you are passing through trials, tribulations or some habitual sin that needs breaking free from. Then you have come to the right place today because no matter what it may be fasting, and prayer is key to your spiritual breakthroughs.

See when you fast, you learn a lot about yourself, for one you learn how weak and little you are in your own strength. Because you will get hungry, thirsty, and your pride goes to zero, your vanity is burst, your self-esteem gets shattered. So, it can be an all-round humbling experience, when done by the Holy Spirits leading. See when fasting is done with a humble heart that seeks God, it will always pay spiritual dividends. But when fast is done with a prideful, self-righteous attitude it will not produce the needed miracles, breakthroughs, victory, success, and triumph etc! See the purpose for fasting is to crucify the flesh and HUMBLE the self in us all.

Now I say this not to discourage you rather, that you know God is looking for those with humble hearts in this hour to serve Him within His Endtime army. See I do not fast to become more powerful, to show off the anointing, rather that I decrease and that Christ increase. So that people no longer see Pastor Robert, rather they see Jesus the hope of all glory working through Me. I believe it is time for repentance revival in the nations and I am certain that it s already sparked within the hearts of those that truly want to seek Him with all their hearts.

But maybe right now you are at the point of giving up and throwing in the towel. Some of you have even uttered the words “what's the use”, yet God’s word gives us much encouragement today, and even provides the answers for those who are willing to listen and obey today hallelujah! So, what about you today? What have you allowed to come into your life to stop God’s blessing from overflowing?

So, what are those things that are distracting you and robbing you of God’s peace? Do you get easily offended? Are you listening and acting upon the suggested thoughts of the devil? Do you allow gossip to influence your view on others, rather than enquiring of the Lord? Do you feel down in the dumps and have allowed oppression to take its toll? Well, the good news is Jesus become all things to reach us at our point of need and He is here today to set you free and help you overcome precious saint.

Revelation 21:7 “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”

YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER

The question today is are You an “Overcomer”?

Do you sometimes feel like quitting precious saints? Maybe you have uttered these words also, “I can’t do it or it’s just too hard!”?

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

See if the apostle Paul said these words, then that also means we can say these words precious saints to get through hallelujah! “WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS US” The word for “do” in this verse is the Greek word ischuo (number 2480 in Strong's Concordance), which means “to have or exercise force,” “be able, avail, can do, prevail, be of strength, be whole.” It is derived from the word ischus which means, “force, forcefulness, ability, might, power, strength.” Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon defines this word as “ability, force, strength, might, power.” It defines ischuo as “to be strong,” to be robust and in sound health, “to have power,” to exert, wield power, evidenced in extraordinary deeds, “to have strength to overcome,” “to be of force, avail.”

See the Apostle Paul had a very positive, confident, powerful attitude and wanted to share this same encouragement to all that would read his letters. So, do you believe that you can accomplish, prevail, conquer, overcome, and do all these things through Christ, just as Paul believed precious saints?

See no trail that you may ever face is wasted, for God is using that trial to perfect His work within side of you through the power of the Holy Spirit. It may even feel like God is "turning up the heat," and putting on more pressure. See He is coming back for spotless bride that is awaiting the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that coming day is drawing closer day by day and there isn't any time to waste in overcoming our sins and faults, and having our character perfected and polished!

For He is very busy preparing the "bride" for the up-coming wedding, and so He is sanctifying us, setting us apart, and cleansing us "with the washing of water by the Word, that he might present us to himself a glorious church (bride), not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing," but that we should be "holy and without blemish" (Eph.5:25-27).

WHAT DO WE DO WHEN TRAILS SURROUND US?

I once saw a picture on social media that said, “Cheer up, things could be worse. So, I cheered up and sure enough, things got worse!” Now such a statement really speaks volumes about the human condition, and the helpless, hopeless feeling of discouragement and depression people often feel. Especially during the plandemic, because things just seemed too worse when listening to the news etc. For some people the enemy isolates them to make them feel there is no way out and they start to panic!

It is during such times that many forget GOD and sad to say, even Pastors can be affected especially what I have seen over the last 3 years with the snake bite. However, we shouldn’t feel that we cannot win the victory or overcome when we have Christ Jesus on our side. For with Christ Jesus, remember all things are possible and with God's help we can OVERCOME!

SEEK THE LORD ALWAYS

What about Asa the King of Judah?

At one time, a huge army from Ethiopia came against king Asa of ancient Judah, numbering a million men under arms (2 Chronicles 14:9). The king and all Judah were frightened. Nevertheless, they did not give up, even though they knew not what to do. The battle was set in array. At that point, we read in the Scriptures, Asa prayed to God, crying out, saying:

“Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You. In Your name we go against this multitude. O LORD, you are our God; do not let man prevail against You!” (2 Chronicles 14:11).

What happened? “So, the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled. And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil” (2 Chronicles 14:12-13).

After this, God sent a prophet to the king, “And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.” (2 Chronicles 15:2).

The prophet sent by God, went on to say, “For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; 4 but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them. 5 And in those times, there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands. 6 So nation was [a]destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity.” (2 Chronicles 15:3-6).

This very much sounds like the day and age we live today, doesn’t it? Think about it! But even in such a time, the prophet told Asa and Judah, “But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!” (2 Chronicles 15:7).

TIME TO LET GOD FIGHT THAT BATTLE!

Another time, much later, during the reign of King Jehoshaphat of Judah, another huge army -- a vast army of Moabites, Ammonites, and the children of Seir – came against Judah and king Jehoshaphat, who was a righteous king, who feared God. Jehoshaphat assembled all the leaders and the people in Jerusalem, and led them in prayer, seeking God's intervention and deliverance. Jehoshaphat prayed to God and committed the entire nation and people to God's hands. Notice his fervent words. The king prayed: “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” (2 Chronicles 20:12).

At that point God raised up a prophet from among the people to encourage the king and the people of Judah. The prophet declared to them:

"And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the [a]brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. 17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:15-17).

The king and the people bowed their faces to the ground, and worshiped the LORD, and the Levite singers stood up to sing praises to God. Early the next morning they all rose up and went out to the Wilderness of Tekoa. The king admonished them,

“So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” 22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”

Imagine as they were singing praises to God, even before He intervened and saved them, or took any action, or manifested Himself in any direct way! One of the spiritual keys to spiritual victory, breakthrough, and overcoming is simple, godly faith precious saints. This wonderful attribute of faith is not something we must work up ourselves, by our own human efforts. Not at all. But as Paul tells us, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

This faith is the very faith of Christ that was put within us by the Spirit of God. It is the very same faith Jesus had to move mountains and the faith as small as a mustard seed! We can overcome all things and every adversary that is before us also precious saints.

SPIRITUAL BREAK COMES THROUGH PRAYER AND FASTING!

God declares that if we fast with the right attitude, “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will come quickly. Your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.” (Isaiah 58:8).

In other words, zealous prayer, combined with diligent obedience to God, with the added impact of faith, and fasting, leads to BREAKING FORTH from the bonds of sin and the chains of spiritual SLAVERY! It is the KEY TO OVERCOMING ALL PROBLEMS, FAULTS, SINS, OPPRESSION, WEAKNESSES, AND OBSTACLES IN LIFE!

It is the key to SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH! Like an army that suddenly BREAKS THROUGH the enemy lines, and begins rampaging and smashing forward, advancing forward, cutting the enemy down and destroying their supplies and lines of communication.

God goes on, “Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry out, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you remove the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger and malicious talk, 10 and if you give yourself to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will go forth in the darkness, and your night will be like noonday” (Isaiah 58:9-11).

Jesus received power from God the Father to do mighty works, miracles, and accomplish the Work of God! What were the KEYS to Jesus' spiritual power? He fasted and prayed and obeyed God, continually. You also can receive that spiritual power – great power from God – and strength and energy and spiritual resources to break through, and break out of the narrows, trials, problems, obstacles. How? By drawing closer to God in prayer and fasting! You can receive new vigour, enthusiasm, spiritual steadfastness and staying power!

Fasting can change your approach to God, broaden your horizons, fill you with greater FAITH, and change your LIFE! Through true fasting, and drawing close to God by afflicting yourself, you can become a MIGHTY MAN AND WOMEN OF SPIRITUAL VALOR!

In this 3-day fasting program you will clearly see that Satan is the master mind behind all our headaches, but we need to arise above in prayer. Now we will tackle all these subjects of the enemy that is trying to hinder us and reveal to you how we are in the situation we are at present. Now because we are tackling spiritual matters against the enemy, that means spiritual forces, which means we are going to enter spiritual warfare, so we can combat all demonic powers over our lives. Some Christians today may still not be ready for such teachings that expose the enemy, because they do not want to know the truth, but let me tell you the world that we know, is not what it all cuts out to be. Therefore, before you proceed, I encourage you to put on the full armour of God on, as we go into spiritual war, for we will tackle spiritual forces that are combatting our life’s and those around us this weekend.

Fasting Teaching - https://youtu.be/DFWacd-8ShY

MESSAGE THEMES FOR THE 3 DAYS:

DAY 1 THEME: “WHAT IS YOUR NAME?”

DAY 2 THEME: “CLAIM THIS MOUNTAIN”

DAY 3 THEME: “FAITH IN ACTION”

What am I required to fast from?

We want to leave this decision up to you. We do not have any mandatory church-wide requirements for how you fast, but here are a few ideas:

Food Fast

When we choose not to eat or not to eat certain foods, we allow our physical bodies to hunger and to bring our desires into alignment with our spiritual need for God. There is a clarity in hearing from the Lord which comes when we fast and pray; making a small sacrifice to give up a “pleasure” or comfort to increase your spiritual sight and vision.

We are providing the following options for you to consider:

1. Food Fast

You fast from all foods from either 10pm-6pm (20 hours) or 6am-6pm (12 hours) each day with fluids allowed.

2. Partial Fast

You choose to eliminate certain things i.e., fizzy drinks; sweets/chocolates, bread, no red meat etc, but the rest of your diet remains mainly the same

3. Fruit and Veg

Eat fruit during the day, with liquids (tea/limited coffee, herbal drinks, and water) with a veg meal in the evenings

4. Liquids only during day and veg meal for dinner

Drink water and herbal drinks during the day with a veg meal in the evenings. Please consult your doctor if there are any medical concerns before you commence the fast.

Media Fast

During this time, we encourage you to turn off the TV, computer, video games, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, the Internet, and any other form of social media for a brief period of time. You may decide to fast from Facebook or some other form of media altogether or to limit your time to only 1-2 hours per week. When we do this, we create more time when we can read our Bible, pray, worship, and hear from God.

Search your heart in deciding what type of food fast you want to do. If you have never fasted, maybe start off with a partial fast and progress to a fruit and veg option for the last couple of days. Remember, the most important consideration in fasting is your motive. Why are you fasting?

What will we be praying about?

Check each day for the next 3 days there will be theme topics, scriptures, and prayers so you may follow corporately all together. We are trusting the Lord that this time of fasting, and prayer will release a passion for His name within us – to cut off what belongs to a past seasons, to receive renewed hope and vision for our lives/ministries, to be conduits for signs, wonders, and miracles and to fulfill the mandate of sharing the gospel to the ends of the earth! During this time of fasting, be intentional about your priorities. Set aside ample time to be alone with the Lord. The more time you spend with God, the more meaningful your fast will be. If you need an overview or suggestions on what you can do to make the most of the fast in terms of having a daily routine, use the below points:

Morning:

Begin your day in praise and worship

Read the days program and meditate on God’s Word

Invite Holy Spirit to work in you

Noon:

Take a short prayer walk

Spend time in intercessory prayer for the theme of the day

Evening:

Make time for an unhurried time of “seeking God’s face”

If others are fasting with you, meet for prayer

Avoid television or any other distraction that may affect your spiritual focus and watch the daily uploads to YouTube. You are welcome to watch Christian movies etc.

When possible, begin and end each day with your spouse, family, or friend for a brief time of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. Please let us know you’ll be fasting & praying with us!

PRACTICAL TIPS FOR FASTING:

1. Avoid medical and even natural herbal drugs. However, if you are under medication, these should only be withdrawn upon the advice of your doctor.

2. Limit your physical activity and exercise. If you have a workout routine, adjust it accordingly.

3. Rest as much as you can if needed be.

4. Maintain an attitude of prayer throughout the day. Intercede for your family, pastors, church, nation, missionaries & world missions, etc.

5. Drink plenty of clean water if you are joining the water fast.

6. As your body adjusts, be prepared for temporary bouts of physical weakness as well as a greater likelihood of impatience, irritability, and anxiety.

FASTING BRINGS REVIVAL:

“. . . in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So, I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:2,3

Fasting helps us prevail in prayer and intercession. Daniel understood that Israel was headed for destruction. He also knew that in times like these, there is only one recourse—intercession through praying and fasting. Throughout human history, God has brought revival and delivered nations from destruction in response to prayer and fasting.

FASTING IS AN ACT OF HUMILITY AND CONSECRATION:

“. . . I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting . . .” Psalm 35:13

Humility results in the grace of God (James 4:6). When we humble ourselves in prayer, we have instant access to the heart of God. As we deny ourselves as an act of consecration, we are better able to exercise self-control over our emotions and desires.

SPIRITUAL CLEANSING & SPIRITUAL EYES OPENED:

Fasting can be done for one meal, one day, one month or for however long God leads. It depends on how the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Shorter fasts are easier to endure until we have built up our “spiritual muscles”. A three day fast is most beneficial as a spiritual cleansing. An example of this is Paul being thrust into his fast upon conversion. After the three days of cleansing, he received the Holy Spirit and his eyesight when Ananias laid hands on him (Acts 9:17-18). We also can be spiritually cleansed by fasting so that we receive more of the Lord’s Spirit and have our spiritual eyes opened to new dimensions. A three day fast is also especially helpful in breaking any addictive habits.

These then are two reasons for fasting: We receive spiritual cleansing, and our spiritual eyes are opened, and we also obtain victory over the devil. When Jesus encountered Satan, He was able to overcome Him because His fasting had given Him spiritual strength. Isaiah 58:6 also gives us light on this purpose of fasting: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loosen the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Many people believe that fasting is to move the hand of God, when in it is to make Satan turn loose of the things he is holding.

BREAKING STRONGHOLDS & BUILDING FAITH:

Fasting loose the bands of wickedness. When Jesus discussed the keys to the kingdom, He told us to bind and loose. When we fast, we loosen the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, set the oppressed free, and break every yoke of the enemy. Fasting is an important key to getting the victory over hard situations that do not seem to respond to normal prayer.

Fasting builds our faith. In fact, this is what Jesus meant when he spoke to the disciples in Matthew 17:21 in answer to why they were not able to cast a demon out of a child. He said, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” He was telling them if they wanted their faith to be at such a level as to be able to cast out demons, then they must fast and pray for their faith to increase.

Fasting also makes it easier for us to hear the voice of the Lord. We find an account of this in Acts 13:2 “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

While fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke to them and gave them direction. We too can be directed by the Lord if we seek Him through prayer and fasting.

When we deny our natural cravings, our spiritual antennas become more attuned. We become more sensitive to His voice as we divest ourselves of worldly distractions. We are better able to focus on God and submit to His will. This opens the door for more of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Fasting and mourning are closely associated in the Bible. Two examples of this are found in Ezra and Nehemiah.

Ezra 10:6: “Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.”

Nehemiah 1:4: “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.”

From these Scriptures, we see that fasting and travail (a prayer burden from the Lord that brings crying and tears) were combined. Both men were fasting for the repentance of God’s people. How we need this same kind of intercession today. Here were men so burdened for the sins of their people that they fasted, travailed, and prayed.

DAY 1 — WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

Friday, November 25th, 2022

Scripture Reading for Today:

Scripture Reading: Gen 25:19-26” This is the genealogy of Isaac, Abraham’s son. Abraham begot Isaac. 20 Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah as wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan Aram, the sister of Laban the Syrian. 21 Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22 But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. 23 And the Lord said to her: “Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”

24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb. 25 And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name [a]Esau. 26 Afterward his brother came out, and his hand took hold of Esau’s heel; so his name was called [b]Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.”

Gen 32:24-28 “24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the [a]breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He [b]touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!” 27 So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.” 28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but [c]Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

God said so many things to us this last year and you will hear more during this weekend’s fast, but I want you to be excited about your future because?

“Your past is not your history... Your past is just a footnote in your history…your real story is still in your future precious saints! “.

That gives me great confidence and consolation that God isn't finished with me yet, and that despite how the story of my life has been so far, my best is yet to come. Hallelujah! What about you? This is a word for you in season?

What's In a Name?

There's a common saying:

"A rose by any other name is still a rose". Meaning what someone or something is called does not change their innate characteristics or attributes.

Taken at face value, that sounds like a very accurate, simple and straightforward, logical statement. However, that seemingly benign statement carries a loaded spiritual truth that has a critical consequence on our lives, and which may have a bearing on your season and your destiny.

There's just something about human beings that makes us to love giving names to things. In addition to the obvious ones, we also name our cars, toys, gadgets, hurricanes, storms etc. And then we give names to people....These names unfortunately, are sometimes unkind judgements that we have passed on them especially nicknames as children.

Going back to our rose statement; Let me start with this question: Who named it a rose in the first place?

Think about that for a minute.

Someone had first dibs at calling it a rose and thereafter, no matter what anyone called it, it would always be a rose.

Have you started to wonder where I am going with this?

Stay with me. Let's look at a verse of scripture (Genesis 2:19): "The LORD God formed out of the ground every living animal of the field and every bird of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them, and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name."

The very first assignment that God gave to man was for Adam to come up with names for every living creature that God had made. The scripture we just read, declares that - whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.

God gave man the authority to name His creation and whatever man called, it, God agreed with him, and it was so!

" Jabez was more respected than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, for she said, "I experienced pain when I gave birth to him." 10Jabez called out to the God of Israel, "If only you would greatly bless me and expand my territory! May your hand be with me! Keep me from harm so I might not endure pain!" God answered his prayer." 1Chronicles 4:9-10

Just like Jabez, there are many of us reading this, that are living out names that we have been ascribed by our circumstances or by people who have put a label on us. Names that are the opinion that man or circumstances have defined us by - We have been named by our mistakes, our disabilities, our failures and our struggles or missteps. Some of us even go farther by unwittingly pronouncing names on our situations and giving life to the lies of the enemy - Ah; this situation is hopeless; this year is a hard year; this (my) case is terrible; this son of mine is a fool; my husband / wife is a pain; my situation is critical; can you think of any of your favourite ones?

Life can often present Gen 2:19 to us with a parallel reading -

"And the devil brought; or, and life brought man into a situation to see what he would call it; and whatever man called the situation, that was it's name."

These names have stuck to us and because we have agreed with the pronouncements and sanctioned the lies, our lives and our identities have been defined and limited by them.

What names have you christened your situations?

What names have you christened yourself?

Do you know the name that God calls you?

The statement: "A rose by any other name is still a rose" can mean one thing to you.

It means that whatever names have been pronounced over you and your situation is what they will be. But remember what I said earlier - The real identity of that rose is vested in the person that had the authority to first name it!

Be careful what names you declare over your life or your situation in this season. You will have what you say!

You know what this means to you? It means that if you are a child of God, whatever names you have been called or whatever names your situations are being called that are contrary to what God has called them, are all lies that are subject to change!

As God said to Jeremiah: Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations."

God was telling Jeremiah that regardless of what he thought about himself, He had named Jeremiah's destiny before he was born. God had named his purpose before any situation came to be. That was exactly what He is saying to you too!

It doesn't matter what your situation now says you are; it doesn't matter what your past says you are. A rose by any other name is still a rose - You are still, will always be, will ever be who God says you are; what He says you are. You just need to agree with God!

There are many instances in the bible, where God had intervened in people's situations and changed their names in order to change their situations to align with the destiny that He had appointed for them. Abram became Abraham to become a father of many nations. Sarai became Sarah to become a mother of nations; Jacob the deceiver, became Israel, a prince with God; Elisabeth, she who was called barren become the mother of The great prophet John the Baptist; Simon the flaky reed, became Peter the rock; we who were once called sinners and enemies of God, have become accepted in the beloved and have become the redeemed of the Lord, joint-heirs with Christ.

Name Your Season

God is changing your name and the names of your situations in order, for your season to align with your destiny.

You have been redefined!

Dear child of God, I say all these to come to the second word that I find to be a key word for us in this season:

"Do not allow anyone to limit your dreams to the size of their own faith!"

Go on and name your season. Don't let anyone name your season for you!

Do not place any limitations on your season by calling it what anyone else calls it; no one should name your season for you. God wants to do more in this season than you can ever imagine - Start calling yourself what God calls you. Start calling your situation what God calls it. Start calling your season what God says it is. You can redefine your destiny!

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 1:

Bring the last month of December before God and prophesy into 2023 for your season, for your life, for your family and the church as a whole.

Pray the prayer that Jabez prayed in 1 Chronicles 4:10 (quoted above).

Ask God to change your name and your situations to align with your season.

Ask God to name your season to align with your destiny.

Call yourself what God calls you; call your situation what God names it. Go right ahead and name your season. Agree with God and Call your season what God says it is!

Thank the Lord for every person who fasted and prayed during this period – that they too will experience the fullness of transformation and transition in spirit and circumstances.

Pray for an alertness and an awakening from spiritual slumber, and a grafting in of the saints into the Body.

Pray for a new and great manifestation of God’s miracle power in your life, Narrow Path Ministries, Your church, and Your nation. Seek the Lord for miracles, signs, and wonders that will amaze the people and bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pray that God’s healing power would come into your life in all its fullness. Ask that He would heal you from sickness and disease, and from every hurt, brokenness, and defeat. (3 John vs. 2; Isaiah 53:5)

There are hidden strongholds that are blocking your progress in life. Pray against those strongholds. Ask God to reveal them to you so that they can be broken (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Name the specific stronghold in your life and family and command it to be broken in Jesus’ name.

Thank the Lord that He is changing you. Thank Him for His love that does not want to leave you the way you are. Pray that His plans and His will come to pass in your life as you submit to Him.

I remove myself, my family and my church from every demonic influence that has sabotaged our progress in Jesus Name.

I command a restoration of God's timing and order in alignment with His master plan for my life, my family, and the church in Jesus's Name.

Meditate as we are on day one for this month's fast. Is there anything you need to do or redress to position yourself for what you are praying to God for in your personal life?

Begin to petition God based on His word and pray that you will begin to walk in the tangible manifestation of open heavens over your life—your household, family, ministry, business, finances, church etc.

Declare and confess over your life, that from today, you will begin to operate and live under open heavens and the spirit of sabotage will no-longer have any effect over you or your family.

Declare that every area of your life will begin to manifest the blessings and evidence of Gods restoring power to every area of your life.

Claim the promise of God’s blessing today. Ask God to increase you finances. Pray for Divine favour to open doors for you so that you will have contracts that will lead to financial success. Promotions in the workplace. Inherited blessings that will chase you. Seek the Lord for the wisdom you need to make wise financial decisions and investments.

Ask God to cause revival living waters to begin to touch every area of your life, family, your nation, your church, (Pastor Robert & Aida Clancy) and for them to bring healing to every sickness, life in place of death, fruitfulness in place of barrenness, multiplication in place of stagnation. Cover Pst Robert Clancy and his family from every reprisal attack from the enemy for all the work he is doing on the front lines against the forces of darkness. Yes, Lord protects them with your warrior angels as a hedge of protection around everything they do and go in Jesus Mighty Name!

Give thanks to God for this and for answered prayers in your personal life also that He would provide for you according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Remember as you pray for others, God takes care of your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

Pray for the Lord to open the doors to revival within each of our cities to reach the lost souls within this hour, that a mighty move of God would sweep the nations and whatever God is doing in this hour He would include all those that hunger and thirst for Him.

Day 2 – CLAIM THIS MOUNTAIN

Saturday, November 26, 2022

Scripture Reading for Today:

Joshua 14:6-15 “6 Then the children of Judah came to Joshua in Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him: “You know the word which the Lord said to Moses the man of God concerning you and me in Kadesh Barnea. 7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land, and I brought back word to him as it was in my heart. 8 Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the [a]heart of the people melt, but I wholly followed the Lord my God. 9 So Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children’s forever, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.’ 10 And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses while Israel [b]wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. 12 Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.”

13 And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance. 14 Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed the Lord God of Israel. 15 And the name of Hebron formerly was Kirjath Arba (Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim). Then the land had rest from war.”

Precious Saint, it’s time to take what’s yours. As we learn from the story of Caleb who boldly said, “Give me this mountain!” and claimed it as his inheritance. Israel has entered the promised land of Canaan and conquered it. Joshua chapter 13-14 lays out how the land was divided among the tribes. In Joshua 14:6 then we see Caleb coming before Joshua with a request. His request recorded in verse 12 is simple, “give me this mountain.” So whatever mountain of opportunity that is before you, God has given you the grace to overcome today also.

Now by what right did Caleb stand before the leader of God’s people and demand, “give me this mountain”? See as a child of God, your heavenly Father has promised you an inheritance. Caleb knew that God had promised Caleb and His family line an inheritance and he came to cash in on that cheque. The Lord wants you to keep possessing these promises of God within your life. It is important to know your position and inheritance as a child of God, and to keep believing and keep possessing what’s rightfully yours through Christ Jesus!

WHAT IS OUR MOUNTAIN?

• Mountains are often symbolic of impossible situations

• A mountain may mean a lot of things to a lot of people for maybe it is the mountain of: marriage delay, children, ministry, promotion, success in your job, getting your business started, a relational issue, winning a family or friend to the Lord etc.

• What is your impossible situation today? How do you go about taking your mountain?

Whatever that mountain may be to you and no matter your condition, you shall still bear fruit even in your old age child of God.

Maybe there are those people who would look at themselves and their situation like Abraham did, and come to one conclusion -

"That your days are too late, as abdram mentioned to the Lord. Genesis 15:1-4 “After these events, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” 2But Abram replied, “O Lord GOD, what can You give me, since I remain childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3Abram continued, “Behold, You have given me no offspring, so a servant in my household will be my heir.” 4Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one will not be your heir, but one who comes from your own body will be your heir.” 5And the LORD took him outside and said, “Now look to the heavens and count the stars, if you are able.” Then He declared, “So shall your offspring be.” 6Abram believed the LORD, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

See because Abraham believed in God it was accounted to Him as righteousness and so shall it be to each saint that walks in faith believing the God of the impossible will bring about His perfect will within their life’s.

Or maybe you have been like Sarah that laugh and said she was too old to conceive a child, but God did it. See nothing is too impossible for the Lord, we just must be willing to step out in faith to claim that miracle despite of what your circumstances may say.

Are those your thoughts that it seems impossible for your circumstances to change? Is that where you are today? Well, child of God, please hear me as I declare the word of the Lord to you today:

You can STILL take your mountain today as Caleb did 1000’s of yours ago!

It doesn’t mean that there won’t be times that you wouldn’t have to deal with the emotions of fear when you peer into the dark unknown; but God’s grace is still sufficient to get you through any dark valley. There are other times when your heart will be filled with faith and expectation and excitement at the prospect of the change that God has been speaking to you about. So, no matter what challenge you are facing today, God will still make a way for you.

A Different Spirit - Num 14:1-24 (feel free to read)

Our main scripture text (Joshua 14:6-15 above) introduces an encounter between Moses and Caleb, where Caleb was making a demand of Moses, referencing an event that had transpired between them 45 years earlier.

Remember God's faithfulness to His promises has no expiry date!

God had revealed His plans to Israel, in which He instructed them to go in and possess the land that He had promised and given to them for an inheritance. The children of Israel however, had the bright idea that maybe God did not really think His promise through, and chose instead to send men to spy out the land and determine if what God asked them to do was sensible or possible. (Numbers 13:17-25)

God allowed Moses to consent to their request, and he consequently sent in 12 men to spy out the land and bring back their report to the people.

Hear the report they brought back to the camp (Num 13:26-33):

"26They came back to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community of the Israelites in the wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They reported to the whole community and showed the fruit of the land. 27They told Moses, "We went to the land where you sent us. It is indeed flowing with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28But the inhabitants are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. Moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29The Amalekites live in the land of the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan."

Remember this is the same Information, but Different Perspective!

Even though Caleb and Joshua saw the same things that the other ten men saw and had access to exactly the same information as they did, they processed things from a different perspective, looking through the eyes of faith and not through the carnal eyes of unbelief:

We are well able to go up and take the mountain

"30Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses, saying, "Let us go up and occupy it, for we are well able to conquer it." 31But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against these people, because they are stronger than we are!" 32Then they presented the Israelites with a discouraging report of the land they had investigated, saying, "The land that we passed through to investigate is a land that devours its inhabitants. All the people we saw there are of great stature. 33We even saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak came from the Nephilim), and we seemed liked grasshoppers both to ourselves and to them."

What is your perspective on the mountains that are confronting you today?

The unbelief which had spread throughout the camp resulted in disunity and rebellion -- as fear and unbelief always do. The LORD was angry with the people and vowed that none of their generation would enter the Promised Land, except for Caleb and Joshua.

"But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it" (Num 14:24).

We see a reference to this incidence in Deuteronomy, where Moses was recounting the story later to the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 1:34-36 “And the Lord heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and took an oath, saying, 35 ‘Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land of which I [a]swore to give to your fathers, 36 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and his children I am giving the land on which he walked, because he [b]wholly followed the Lord.’ 37 The Lord was also angry with me for your sakes, saying, ‘Even you shall not go in there.

Imagine even the Lord said to Moses you shall not enter also because of the people’s unbelief, so what made the difference?

Well let’s look shall we at the ten who compared the giants with themselves, and the giants appeared large; but Joshua and Caleb compared the giants with God and the giants were cut down to size. See when we see the devil from God’s perspective he will go from a roaring lion to a little kitten. The two spoke faith "The LORD is with us," they said. "We have no reason to be afraid!

See unbelief never gets beyond the difficulties — the impregnable cities and the impossible giants. It preoccupies itself with them, brooding over them, pitting them against mere human resources.

Rather faith, on the other hand, though it never minimizes the dangers and difficulties of any circumstance, looks away from them to God and counts on his invisible presence. "The LORD is with us," Caleb insisted, "do not be afraid of the giants." See when God is for you then who can stand against you child of God?

Right now, precious child of God, I need you to raise your voice and declare out loud:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! And that I am more than a conqueror!

Let's return to our main bible text for today and focus on an extraction which I shall paraphrase from Num 14:24 that we read earlier:

"My servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly."

You need to have a different spirit from the spirit of fear, unbelief, doubt and discouragement that the enemy may have flooded your thoughts with, for you to inherit the promises of God in this season. You need to be at that place, when your heart is fully committed to following Jesus, and fully set to obey His instructions and commandments to you!

See how Caleb's faith is showing and speaking through in his conversation with Moses (Joshua 14:10-13):

"Just as the LORD promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years ... so here I am today, eighty-five years old!" (10a).

"I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then" (11).

"Now give me this mountain that the LORD promised me that day" (12a).

"You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but the LORD helping me, I will drive them out just as he said" (12b).

Notice that in three out of the four statements in this section, he mentions the name of the Lord. "The LORD promised... The LORD promised... the LORD helping me."

Caleb had learned to trust in the promises of God and hang his faith on the inevitability of their fulfilment. He knew what it was like to have the LORD help him, and he was confident that the LORD will continue to be faithful to keep His promises.

Caleb was properly aligned with God and was therefore supremely confident that his situation will also align with God's promises for his life.

Listen again, to God's testimony concerning Caleb:

"He followed me wholeheartedly"

Can God say the same about you? It is time to live for God wholeheartedly child of God and don’t look back at the cost but keep your eyes on the prize always.

OUR FIGHT IS A FIGHT TO POSSESS WHAT IS ALREADY OURS.

You know the word which the LORD said” — Caleb knew God’s Word. Many children of God today don’t know God’s Word. They may know what some else says, but they don’t know what God says. Therefore, it is time to get familiar with what the Word of God says in our daily lives! Caleb knew what God’s Word said about him. Today, we read the Bible to see Jesus, but also to see what God specifically says about us. What does He say about our inheritance?

As a child of God, you have an inheritance that is rightfully yours and the bible tells us this in: Galatians‬ ‭4:1–7‬ ‭“Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”‬‬‬‬

KNOWING OUR INHERITANCE AS CHILDREN OF GOD IS CRUCIAL WHY?

Because the devil does not want us learning about the finished work of the cross that is available to each that walks in the grace of God, because it will cause us to possess our inheritance.

So, no matter what mountain you are claiming today whether it be marriage restoration, healing, deliverance, financial breakthrough, promotion, employment, vindication etc it is your inheritance to receive.

SO, WE DEFEAT OUR GIANTS BY:

1. Like Caleb, we must have a spirit of courage which is founded on our faith in God.

2. We must follow God COMPLETELY. Throughout the Bible we are given examples of complete, uncompromising, and unending faith that brought victory to those who had it.

3. We must be willing to do our part. God has promised the land to us, but we must be willing to fight for it. God’s promises will not be handed to us on a silver platter but must require faith on our part.

4. We must be persistently patient. We will receive the promises of God if we never give up hope and never give in to doubt and despair. If we do these things, we too, like Caleb, can claim the promised land for our own.

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 2:

Start today's prayers by first meditating on Philippians 4:13 “13 I can do all things through [a]Christ who strengthens me.”

Think about your life and your situation - Is there any way you have limited God by making Him smaller than the giants or the mountains that you are facing? Get on your knees and repent. Ask God to forgive you for dishonouring Him.

Remind yourself of all the promises of God concerning your life and make a good warfare with your prophecies.

Ask God to revive the right spirit in you, and to give you the strength to follow Him wholeheartedly, as you rise up and move forward to claim His promises.

Focus on the month of DECEMBER and claim the release of every blessing and the fulfilment of every promise for that month, for yourself, your family the church as a whole.

Lord Unveil my eyes; let me know the truth of Your word concerning my life and every situation that I am in right now.

Expose every lie of the enemy that has been designed to sabotage your plans and purposes for my life.

Deliver me from every deception and the lies that the enemy has used to distract me; whether through words, my thoughts, my emotions and feelings, false prophecies, dreams and visions that are not from God.

Uproot everything in my life, my thinking and my emotions, that has kept me in bondage to the spirit that has been deployed to hinder the fulfilment of your word concerning my life.

Pray that December and into 2023 will be a mountain conquering year, that in this month and beyond, God will cause you to walk upon your high places - in the places of honour, promotion and elevation in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Declare that on Day 2, your transformation and breakthrough will be complete according to God’s will and riches.

Decree that you will have a relentless pursuit to walk in the fullness of what Christ has promised you.

Decree that there is no going back to the old season. Speak completeness of turnaround in your healing, health and wealth in your spirit, emotions and physically.

Thank the Lord for every person who fasted and prayed during this period – that they too will experience the fullness of transformation and transition in spirit and circumstances.

Pray for an alertness and an awakening from spiritual slumber, and a grafting in of the saints into the Body.

Declare readiness over God’s people for radical change!

Decree that lives, are being characterised by an increasing hunger for a new move of God.

Pray for all the bachelor and bachelorette’s partaking in the fast who are seeking life partners. Ask God to guide them to the person who will really be a blessed spouse to that person. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and strength to overcome fleshly desires.

Amen.

Day 3: “FAITH IN ACTION"

Sunday, November 27th, 2022

Scripture Reading For Today: Philippians 2:1-13 “Therefore if there is any [a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [b]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [c]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

Thanks for coming back again for this final day of our November 3 day fasting and prayer teaching. I hope you are as excited as I am, about the awesome promises that God has given us about the things He's going to do in this season that we are entering into with only one month away from entering 2023 and beyond.

So back to today’s scripture ready, what first came to your mind when you read the title of today's teaching? What does the title "Faith in action" minister to you?

At first glance, one would be right to imagine that the title is an appeal or encouragement or assurance to you to believe in the efficacy of the word that God has spoken and which you have believed; that this word which you have confessed and are standing on, is definitely able to produce the desired, or the expected results; that God will deliver on His promises to you, because faith works. Right?

Was that how you read it?

Whilst all of that is true and you would have most been correct to have received that message "Faith in action" from the title, I was however, hoping to minister another aspect of faith to you in today's teachings.

Feel Led or Feel Lead

Lead is a very heavy substance that is often used as a ballast to improve stability or to weigh things down and keep them from moving.

For many of us, prayer has become like a lead ballast that has kept us on our knees, but unfortunately not on our feet and on the move. We have prayed and fasted and sought the face and the mind of God, but nothing changes because we have come short of taking that sure step towards accomplishing the vision. Why? Because we are still "praying about it" and waiting to "feel led" before we do what we needed to do.

There are people who are praying and waiting to feel led before they go out and evangelise; there are those who are praying and waiting to "feel led" before putting their CV together and applying for a job. There are many, who are still waiting to "feel led" before they step out and do what God has already revealed as His will and given them the permission to do.

Please hear me well precious saint; I am not saying or suggesting that it is wrong to pray and wait on God for leading or direction before embarking on a venture.

In the sense of providing security and steadfastness in the face of the challenges, storms and winds that life will drag you through, prayer is that ballast that you need to anchor your faith to keep you from being tossed about or being overwhelmed in the adversity. But much like a ship and its anchor, that ship isn't going anywhere with its anchor down. There comes a time when that anchor must be reeled back on board so the ship can move forward. Whilst there's a time for prayer to be a ballast for your faith, there also comes the time, when prayer must become the fuel that propels your faith into action.

All that God has been speaking to you over the past couple of days will mean nothing, if you don't commit to some definite, specific and strategic actions - Acting on God's promises and instructions to you, is a necessary ingredient for you to appropriate the blessings and walk in the fulfilment of your breakthrough and victory!

As someone once said:

"The distance between your dream and reality is ACTION"

Now one frustration of being a Pastor can be sometimes when people change their minds after you have counselled them for several hours with good advice. Even though their own circumstance is demanding a decision to be made, they would go back on their decision to make not make one. I have had cases when checking up on people hours, days or weeks or even months after and find out that they were still in exactly in the same position they are in before the "counselling sessions " started. Their excuse or "reason" for not acting? Is sometimes "Well Pastor, I had a check in my spirit; I didn't feel led"

I heard of one pastor that after hearing this so many times over the years, he arranged for a bowl of lead to be put on his table. So, the next time anyone said they hadn't acted because they didn't "feel led", he'd grab their hands and dip it in the bowl of lead and say: "Here; do you feel that? That's lead; now that you've felt lead, you can now go ahead and feel led to do what God told you to do!"

Whilst that may sound funny to you, I'd like you to take a step back and look at your life and ask yourself if you are not one of those people?

Well, you might say in response: "Pastor Clancy; doesn't the bible say: "As many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God?". Yes, you are absolutely right, but faith also requires and action.

Faith-Works or Faith works? Same Difference...

If you remove the empty space between Faith and Works in the title, and replace it with a dash, to spell Faith-Works; or if you bring both words together, the title will read faith works, that is the gist of what God is saying to you today, and which Apostle Paul writes about in James 2:14-26 (Read)

The empty space between the two words "Faith" and "Works" is very often the disconnect between God's promises to us and the realities of our daily existence. That empty space is filled with wishful thinking, inaction / inactivity, presumption, procrastination and fear. And to add another shocking truth, maybe even foolishness!

The reason why "Faith" had not "worked" for some of us; is simply because our faith had no works to back it up!

WHAT ARE YOUR FAITH WORKS? WHERE ARE YOUR FAITH WORKS? I am challenging you today; No, God is asking you today, to fill that empty space between faith and works with Holy Ghost breathed actions.

After writing a list of all that God has been speaking to you through this year’s fasting series about what He has promised to do, you need to come up with a second list - A "must-do" list; an ACTION PLAN of what you are committing to do to see those promises of God come to pass in your life in this season. Don't forget to keep reminding yourself,

God Can Do, but I Must Do Too!

“for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

What is God asking you to do in this season? What specific actions is God requiring of you? The answer to this question will bring some of us out of our comfort zone into an uncomfortable and unfamiliar place; an uncomfortable, yet progressive place.

Hard decisions and choices will have to be made; Tough turfs will have to be travelled; adjustments and Sacrifices have to be made; old wine skins have to make way for the new wine skins to contain the new wine of the new season. You have to roll up your sleeves, rub in some elbow grease and knuckle down to work with your word. Yes friend;

Faith still requires you to work!

As Apostle Paul said in James 2:14-26 “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without [a]your works, and I will show you my faith by [b]my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [c]dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [d]perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was [e]accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

I'll like to end today with this quote that is accredited to Francis of Assisi, who was a Roman Catholic Friar and preacher who lived in the 12th century before the reformation:

"Start by doing what is necessary. Then do what is possible. Suddenly you are doing the impossible..."

4 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR OCTOBER 28TH, 29TH, 30TH & 31ST 2022

THEME: "EXPOSING AND OVERCOMING WITCHCRAFT ATTACKS"

SCRIPTURE: Micah 5:11-12 “I will cut off the cities of your land and throw down all your strongholds. 12 I will cut off sorceries (witchcraft) from your hand, and you shall have no soothsayers.”

Precious Saints this month’s 4 day fast will be solely dedicated to exposing witchcraft and defending ourselves from the enemy’s attacks in spiritual warfare. We only must see the amount of compromise that has crept into the church with many participating in Halloween-themed events throughout the month of October. Now I have seen churches all around the world that were either infiltrated by witches, attacked by witchcraft, or were even run by witches disguised as Pastors or false prophets.

Now when I was first saved, I was at work one evening, and I remember meeting a young satanist that was eager to brag about where he was going when asked. He said proudly to me and another co-worker that he was a member of a secret satanic circle and was on his way to a satanic meeting. Now I think because he was still very young and we were also his age group, that he could not help himself but brag and open his mouth about this secret wickedness. He went onto telling us that if I only knew who the members of this satanic cult were, that I would be shocked. He said they are professional, lawyers, doctors, police, judges, celebrities, and every high position in society that I could think of helping bring about their agenda. I then ask him, so if you are that connected, who is a threat to your agenda and he then proceeded to tell me that the only threat was spirit filled, bible believers and they were their main target. Now this was back in the year 1997 mind you and a lot more has been revealed to me about their wicked agenda, since then that we can clearly see that has even taken place right before our eyes.

Everyone should be praying against witchcraft that is coming either against their family’s or the body of Christ in general. See just because you may not believe in it, does not mean it is not operating around us. For we are truly living in evil wicked times with wicked satanic elites trying to make their satanic new world order in preparation for the coming revealed antichrist. Yes, they see us as a threat, for we are the only ones that can break their spiritual power through Christ Jesus. The only antidote for evil is good and the only one that is good is God. The only antidote for God’s judgment coming to the nations within this hour, is the atoning power of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Read Numbers 16:46-48)

There are different levels to witchcraft and none of it is any good, but we are called to expose the works of darkness. This is something the church must be made aware of and learn to seriously pray against this wickedness during these times precious saints.

Ephesians 6:12-13 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Yes, every believer needs to study, learn, practice, continually spiritual warfare! The Word commands us to and we need to. Doing all, STAND. Doing all refers to Doing all we have been instructed to in His Word to do! STAND refers to STAND UP TO YOUR ENEMY!!! Never ever back down precious saints! Do not give up or give the enemy an inch! Read the Word for yourself precious saints. It says we have an enemy, who is planning continually to steal, to kill and destroy YOU!

See there is nothing good in Satan at all, and he only comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) and if we give him any legal right, he will try to destroy everything within our lives. So, if he is given the opportunity then he will try his best effort to destroy God’s perfect plan for our futures, our relationships, families, and marriages etc.

It is common for me to receive messages from Christians who are experiencing heavy mental warfare or spiritual oppression attacks during this month of October. Therefore, it is vital for us as believers in Christ Jesus to break all word curses that the occult is speaking along with their wicked incantations during this month of October. See it is no-longer a secret anymore, but the satanists and witches both openly confess that they have united to hinder Christian believers, ministers of the gospel and anyone that maybe in high positions who would be a threat to them or their agenda.

One story I heard of a church that was targeted by a satanic Coven, was very alarming and I do not believe they were equipped to combat the attack to start with. That is why it is vital we teach the body of Christ about such subjects, not to act out of fear, but faith in the finished work of the cross.

Now this coven had threatened a local pastor that they were going to bring down his Church and were going to specifically target destroying every marriage in the leadership. The Pastor made it a point to tell the Church to take this threat seriously and to pray against it, to do spiritual warfare and anoint their homes and use wisdom and practice caution in their marriages. Unfortunately, many of the members thought it was just nonsense, but spiritual warfare was not taught enough and every one of their marriages came apart, the men falling into sinful affairs. The only one that it did not effect was the Pastor who believed the warning and practiced spiritual warfare, what was sadder is that the Church disintegrated, and the building was sold also. This may seem like a fairy tale to someone reading, but this is very real, and I have seen and heard of many stories that reveals that this stuff is very real precious saints!

The feedback I am receiving from many is that because the churches are refusing to speak the truth, many have been led online to seek truth because people are thirsty for the truth. The remnant bride can see the spiritual shift taking place within this hour that is happening internationally, nationally, and locally. And you only must see the tougher totalitarian/ draconian measures being put in place by our governments, workplaces and even some churches that are under the control of this mass witchcraft mind control hat we are seeing across the globe.

But as we await the Lord’s snatching away, there is a ferocious battle for Righteousness within each nation across the face of the earth right now and it requires your participation through spiritual warfare prayers. Now the truth is, the only one that can save us is Jesus Christ and we as believers are ambassadors, need to walk in divine authority for the remainder of this year more than ever.

In this 4-day fasting program you will clearly see that Satan is the master mind behind all our headaches, but we need to arise above in prayer. Therefore, before you proceed, I encourage you to put on the full armour of God on, as we go into spiritual war, for we will tackle spiritual forces that are combating our life’s and those around us this weekend.

This month of October l we want to encourage all Christians on social media that want breakthrough and restoration to Fast & Pray along with us this month’s 4 day fast.

This is an event anybody can partake of anywhere around the world, in your home, church, friend’s house, in the village or in the city etc. The main purpose is to get people to repent and turn back to God. By using the same calendar day through fasting and prayer taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14, that it will build awareness of the need to pray for your local church. Though we are on different timeline I encourage you to just follow the dates for your respective countries.

Date: OCTOBER 28th, 29th, 30TH & 31st 2022

Fasting Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Fasting Type: It is your choice what level you wish to fast, maybe you wish to do 3 days dry fast without water or food, maybe you wish to do 3 days with water fast? Or you could fast from food but drinking water or fluids partially. You are welcome to break the fast each evening and start again either after meal (6am-6pm) or you can go straight through as I said. The key is I want you to abstain from something to seek a closer walk with the Lord and see your spiritual breakthroughs. The key is to also follow the program that is designed to assist and be a guide to press into the Lord. You will find some helpful tips below also.

MESSAGE THEMES FOR THE 4 DAYS:

DAY 1 THEME: “SPIRITUAL WARFARE”

DAY 2 THEME: “EXPOSING WITCHCRAFT”

DAY 3 THEME: “OVERCOMING WITCHCRAFT ATTACKS”

DAY 4 THEME: "EXPOSING HALLOWEEN”

Check each day for the next 4 days there will be theme topics, scriptures, and prayers so you may follow corporately all together.

Day 1 – "SPIRITUAL WARFARE"

Date: Friday 28th of October

SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:11-18 “Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints”

Precious saints there is a spiritual battle for dominion and authority upon the earth at present and it is only heating up more each day. It is a battle between good and evil, right, and wrong, and we are seeing a shift taking place within this hour from an international, national, and local level. Never have we seen, how the enemy is blatantly coming out more aggressively and openly and we must realise for us to defeat the evil within this world, we must first win the battle in the spiritual war. Now the apostle Paul tells us in the above scripture that we are in a spiritual battle against the unseen spiritual forces, and we need to be prepared with spiritual armour and weapons.

The church of Jesus Christ is a beacon of light within this lost world, but I am sad to say in most cases today it has become silent on teaching about spiritual warfare and exposing the very darkness around us. Many even today are coming up with watered down teachings to put out the fire in the saints. Oh yes, the devil will influence anyone he can get a hold of precious saints! Why? so that the saints do not arise up in prayer and fasting to wage spiritual warfare against the enemy in the second heavens.

Yes, one of the biggest ways the freemasons have influenced the church over the centuries is through the spirit of mammon, for when money controls a Pastor they will be easily influenced by persuasion in watering down God’s message. See one of the biggest cancers within the priesthood of God’s servants is selfish ambition. What I mean is many are just focused on building bigger churches, getting a bigger name for themselves, more church attendance or even trying to have more followers on social media, oppose to really preaching the truth and having a genuine deep cry for lost souls.

Different people at times send me messages from other servants that say different contradicting things. Like for instance one does not you do not need to fast anymore, even though Jesus clearly says in the ninth chapter of the book of Matthew “…But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.” (Matt 9:15) What else? that one does not need to warfare anymore, or bind and loosen, even though Jesus has given us the authority to do so (Matthew 16:19). Many question the rapture, but one day it will happen precious saints, and imagine the shock on the faces of people that did not keep their oil full like the foolish virgins whom the door was shut in (Matthew 25:1-13).

See ignorance is one thing but deception is another that we see from teaching that the devil is using to take the fire of God from you. Let me tell you that when you have been on the mission field fighting the spiritual battles against local witchcraft, you soon realise that everything you learnt in bible college is being put to the test, as in many cases they no longer teaching you to really defend yourself against witchcraft attacks or the spiritual world or even deliverance in that case. They will teach you how to fund raise, but not to walk by complete faith and spirit.

One thing I have learnt as a missionary is that when you are in very heavy witchcraft areas doing the work of the Lord, fiery spiritual warfare prayers are very effective. Now you got to understand that we have different seasons of praying warfare prayers and other seasons of resting in the Lord’s presence and devotion. But when the Holy Spirit calls you to pray in spiritual warfare, do not allow anyone or anything to deter you from doing so. See I receive so many testimonies from others that faithfully pray powerful warfare prayers in different seasons of their lives, that bring change to the very environment around them. One testimony was of a young sister who was led to pray our midnight warfare prayer program for a season each night. One night when she was praying, she heard a voice try to interrupt her prayers saying, “PLEASE STOP PRAYING, YOU ARE INTERFERRING WITH OUR WORKS”. It was the voice of the warlock/ witch doctor in the area that was frustrated because the prayers she was praying were interrupting the diabolical works of the warlock in the spiritual realm. This is just one of many stories that I hear and receive each day sent to my inbox. Now when we are praying and fasting corporately, we really start to tear down spiritual wickedness in high places, but as a body of believers around the world we are sending a barrage of assault weapons against the enemy, that would not be possible praying just alone. For remember when we come together in agreement with two, the scriptures says that we shall put ten thousand to flight.

Deuteronomy 32:30 “How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had surrendered them? For their rock is not like our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.”

Joshua 23:10 “One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the LORD your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you.”

Imagine the Church is an embassy representing heaven within each nation, but in many cases, they have lost their authority of speaking truth and praying warfare prayers in an hour of deception. Now I am not just talking about the established church in big buildings, but rather a church that has been called out from amongst this world’s system. For each born again Christian is an ambassador for Christ Jesus upon the earth precious saints and we are to walk with heaven’s standards.

For Paul confirms this in 2 Corinthians 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be you reconciled to God.”

We are in a spiritual battle today that requires more grace precious saints, for we are moving into a new season, and this brings a new level of opposition. The hordes of hell are being released upon the unrighteous with many being used to bring about the enemy’s agenda upon the face of the earth. Therefore, we need to continue to stand in prayer for the remaining of 2022 and prepare for 2023.

Matthew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” What is happening around us requires us to stand more firmly in the Lord with the pressures around us and this world’s system.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…,”

See our faith in God's spoken word releases the power from heaven that binds (or ties up) the evil we are facing. Similarly, when we loosen something on earth, we "permit and declare [it] proper and lawful on earth"

Matthew 16:19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” So, everything that we loosen, or bind must be in accordance with God's word.

There are so many things that we pray for, and we wait for God to respond when in fact God has already told us what to do. He has already given us the strategies against the enemy’s throne, altars, and gates that we need to succeed in this spiritual warfare.  God is not going to come to earth and do the things that He has already given the church the authority or ability to do precious saints. That is what binding and loosing is all about. Using the spiritual authority, we already have and to carry out the work of the Kingdom.

SATANS ARMY HIERARCHY

We are up against a very well organised demonic army that has its own hierarchy and levels of satanic authority. These authorities can be set over empires, cultures, nations, and regions of the earth. They can be behind natural and supernatural government.

1. Satan (commander-in-chief) 2. Thrones 3. Dominions (lordships) 4. Principalities (rulership’s, princes) 5. Powers (authorities) 6. Rulers Of Darkness of This World 7. Spiritual Wickedness (wicked spirits) In High Places (heavenly places)

Let us look a little further into this demonic hierarchy to understand a little more:

Territorial Spirits: Demonic powers have controlling influence over specific sites, peoples, and areas. The belief in such hierarchal arrangements is culturally widespread and often involves protective deities linked to homes, temples, clans, cities, valleys, and nations.

Principalities And Powers: Demonic agents and structures that exert deceptive control over co-conspiratorial human political kingdoms and systems. A principality is defined as: A state ruled by a prince, usually a small state or a state that falls within a larger state such as an empire. The position or authority of a prince or chief ruler; sovereignty; supreme power. So, a principality is not a fallen angel itself. A principality is the seat of authority or the region that the fallen angel has authority over. A prince rules over a principality. Daniel chapter ten makes it noticeably clear that fallen angels, and angels from God are both called princes:

“But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.” (Daniel 10:13)

Powers: These are the sergeants that conduct the orders from the princes and pass down to lower ranking demons.

Rulers of Darkness of This World: Demonic forces involved in deceptive and destructive manipulation of natural elements and systems. Where are the rulers? In the heavenly places.

So yes, there are hinderances, but when we walk in the finished work of the cross, we can overcome all adversaries. Whenever you reach a mountain top or about to breakthrough, Satan tries to stop you. But when the cross was lifted, the enemy was defeated precious saints. When He rose on the third day, that was a greater rising. Therefore, the Lord call you out from the valley of despondence and desires to place you on the heights. Just like the eagle that is unbeatable from higher altitude, the Lord is calling us to discern the times we are living and equip ourselves for the battle ahead.

So, you may be asking me then what about repentance revival that you always talk about. Well, the truth is revival needs to start with you and me first but let us look how the demonic hinder revival in larger numbers.

See principalities over cities, regions, and nations are hindering revival. These fallen angels promote dullness, darkness, and spiritual lethargy. The reason the church is not experiencing "open Heavens" is because of these angels. Principalities will not face their final judgment until after Jesus returns to the earth. A fallen angel over a region or country may be bound for a time, if the courts of Heaven have so determined precious saints. I would love nothing more than to see a revival over our cities, but the truth is the Lord can also rapture His remnant bride any time He wishes.

REVIVAL BRINGS OPEN HEAVEN

So let us just look back at history and see how the great revival started in Argentina in the mid 1900’s. See because the principality over that oppressive nation was bound up for a period through the prayers of the remnant church. Imagine once it was bound the atmosphere changed and people that were closed off to the gospel, were now suddenly open to the gospel. Even the pastors and evangelists were moving in remarkable miracles that they previously had never done before. People were rushing to any prayer meetings, crusades, and churches to be healed, delivered and or saved. The nation went from being hardened to God, to being open to the gospel. It was like a light being switched on. Once the fallen angel was bound, the Heavens opened over Argentina and light shined all over the nation. Binding principalities is a major key to revival precious saints and God can also do remarkable things through the remnant church that will cry out to Him in unity for revival. I am never going to deny God cannot bring a revival even today, but where is the remnant bride that are crying out for God’s mercy day and night? When I was in South Africa recently the holy Spirit revealed to me in one meeting that the momentum for THIS revival will increase more and more upon the earth and one of the key hallmarks for this revival will be the deep repentance of people crying out to God that will bring personal encounters with God.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE REQUIRED IN ENDTIMES

What I am seeing and hearing from people today around the world is that we are facing greater spiritual battles today than ever before. There has been a release of demonic activity on earth over the past 3 years that is unseen in world history. And we are going to see an even greater release of demonic activity during coming months. These are more than physical battles; this is spiritual warfare. What is happening in Europe and the Middle East and throughout the world is spiritual precious saints. Closer to home, we are fighting a spiritual battle for the souls of family members and loved ones. The racism, politics, tribalism that is dividing nations and Believers must be addressed. More specifically, a prepared soldier should never, ever go into battle without the right Armor. That would be disastrous! Victory in battle hinges upon suitable Armor and appropriate weaponry. And a spiritual battle requires proven spiritual weapons. It’s impossible to avert the attacks of the devil and prevail against his strategies in your own strength. An army is only as strong as its armour. No matter how strong the soldier is, if he doesn’t have proper Armor, then he is vulnerable. If a warrior is powerful, but has no defence, he will be destroyed before he fulfils his purpose. As soldiers in God’s army, it is our duty to put on our armour.

The Word of God instructs, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” - Ephesians 6:11.

We're in a battle in this world. We may not see it; we might forget it's there. But the enemy would love nothing more than to start each day off with discouragement and defeat, bringing fear and stress. Don't let him win. If you're a believer who is living like salt and light in a dark world, you won't go for long without encountering spiritual warfare - obstacles and attacks he'll hurl your direction. God reminds us in His word to stay aware of Satan’s schemes, to live alert in this world, and to stay close to Him. He arms us with the sword, the Word of God, to stand against the enemy’s lies. He equips us with strength, wisdom, and discernment through His own Spirit to stay strong in the spiritual warfare battle. He invites us to spend time in His Presence, through prayer and worship, pressing in to know Him more. As we grow to know God’s Truth and what is real, we also know more what is false, and we are stronger to stand against it in the powerful name of Jesus. He never leaves us to fend for ourselves in a dark world, but reminds us He is constantly with us, fighting for us, even when we cannot see.

Praying God’s words back to Him, is a powerful weapon against the forces of evil. It is Truth going out. It reminds us that God knows our way and understands what we face today. It builds our faith and our trust in God. It guards our hearts and focuses our minds back on Him. It wins the battle. We also have either the midnight warfare program or the marriage warfare program you can use at any time that you feel led to take these prayer programs on in your own time that you can find on our web page. So let us now go through these spiritual weapons below individually precious saints, so we are aware of what is at our disposal.

THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE

Preparation for spiritual battle requires the application of principles revealed in the Word of God. When the whole armour of God is applied and used properly, you have full protection and are enabled to hold your ground against the enemy. Ephesians 6 lists these seven pieces of armour — seven weapons of spiritual warfare — that can be the difference between life and death for you and your loved ones. The key to understanding this passage even better is not to just focus on the pieces of armour, but what they’re attached to. Instead of just focusing on a shield, a helmet, and a sword, focus on faith, salvation, and the Word of God. From this passage, here are six practical ways to protect yourself from spiritual attacks:

1. Saturate yourself with truth (belt of truth). What are you putting in your head every day? What kind of media are you consuming? What are you listening to? If you allow the world to fill your head with lies, don’t be surprised if you find yourself susceptible to spiritual attacks. Your loins girt about with truth (verse 14). Loins refers to our minds. Peter said, “Gird up the loins of your mind” (1 Peter 1:13). Fill your mind with the Word of God.

2. Live righteously (breastplate of righteousness). When we make poor decisions, fail to take care of our physical and mental health, when we put ourselves in situations where evil lurks and temptations abound, we open ourselves up to spiritual attack. If you want to protect yourself from spiritual attack, make better decisions. Your breastplate of righteousness (verse 14). The breastplate covers the vital organs and speaks of the heart. The breastplate of righteousness fortifies your heart against the enemy’s attacks. Allow the righteousness revealed in God’s Word to influence your mind and touch your heart.

3. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit (feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace). The emphasis in Paul’s phrasing here is the word “readiness.” Just as your feet have to be aware and take you in the right direction in battle, so our spirits should be sensitive to the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit. He’ll protect us from attacks if we’ll listen. Your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (verse 15). The Word of God must affect your walk, your life. This happens as the Word fills your mind, touches your heart, and is manifested, or seen, in your walk. It all begins with your mind. You begin to read and hear the Word, and it begins to influence and fill your heart with truth. This affects your actions and daily life.

4. Choose to believe (shield of faith). Faith doesn’t become faith until you must use it. Wielding the shield of faith is choosing to actively in God’s goodness and his faithfulness when all evidence points to the contrary. When you’re bombarded with the lies of the enemy, picking up the shield of faith is choosing to believe in the promises of Scripture. This type of protection depends on your will being stronger than the emotions of the moment. Your shield of faith (verse 16). Faith brings powerful results, for when faith is joined with the results of the Word in your mind, heart, and life, you can withstand the onslaught of the enemy and render the enemy’s fiery darts ineffective.

Ephesians 6:16 “Above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.”

•            Without faith it is impossible to please God!

•            Without faith you won’t believe truth and place on the belt

•            Without faith you cannot put the breastplate of righteousness on.

•            Without faith you won’t want to share the gospel of peace with others

•            Without faith you won’t have a shield to deflect the enemies advancing.

•            Without faith you will doubt your very salvation and give into the enemies injected thoughts

•            Without faith the sword will be piecing you and not the enemy.

5. Surrender daily (helmet of salvation). Salvation is all about surrender, asking God to save you because you realize you can’t save yourself. That surrender, that humility, that cross that Jesus asks us to pick up daily, is a vital piece of our spiritual defence. Everyday willingly surrender to God. Give your day to him and you’ll come under his protection. Your helmet of salvation (verse 17). Once the truth enters your mind, touches your heart, and is manifested in your actions, it becomes your nature. The helmet of salvation is the doctrine of the Word that brings balance to your life and keeps you walking steady in the Spirit.

6. Wield the Word as a weapon (sword of the Spirit). The primary offensive weapon given to us is Scripture. So, get in daily and read it, listen to it, think about it, meditate on it, memorize it. Pick up your sword and start fighting back against the enemy. Your sword of the Spirit (verse 17). All the armour up to this point has served a defensive purpose, intended for use in facing the enemy. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God, and it is intended to be used as an offensive weapon against the enemy. So essentially you can know the word back to front, but unless you declare it and use that weapon you have been given there can be no victory no victory. In three consecutive instances, Jesus Christ Himself used the Word of God as He resisted Satan’s temptation, repeatedly saying, “It is written” (Matthew 4:4, 6-7). The sword of the Spirit helps you take back the territory that belongs to you — your family, your finances, and your health.

Your time spent in prayer and supplication in the Spirit (verse 18). The final weapon, also to be used on offense, is prayer that covers and clothes us like a mantle. So, praying in our spiritual language is also a very effective weapon in spiritual warfare along with our fasting.
