3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR JULY 17TH TO 19TH 2020

www.repentancerevival.com 3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR JULY 17TH TO 19TH 2020 Theme: “DEFEATING THE SPIRIT OF SETBACK (A Demonic cycle)”

Theme Scriptures: Deuteronomy 28:12 “ The Lord will open to you His good [b]treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.” Now it is God’s intention to bless His people, but the enemy will use what we do to bring about set back within our lives if we give him legal rights. God warned His people in the below scripture that if we disobey His word then a curse would come upon the people. Deuteronomy 28:15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:” Have you ever felt like you are living in a vicious circle? Even now you may be trying your best to solve a problem only to discover that every step you take is making the problem worse—or even creating new problems and you can’t seem to get out of the ditch you have found yourself in. If that is you, stop and ask yourself—is this a vicious circle or a demonic cycle? In other words, is one trouble in your life leading to another because of the classic law of cause and effect, a law that can easily snowball for better or worse? Or are you wrestling against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places? According to (Eph. 6:12) The spirit of setback or demonic cycles is an evil spirit that causes relapse and failures in the life of an individual. It hinders businesses and limits progress. It turns people to great under achievers. And cause bad habits in many individuals. This could manifest in a variety of ways such as overeating, job instability, yearly sickness, relationship issues, problems with authority, unexplainable failures in your study’s, resitting exams, never completing work projects, other people advancing above you from your hard work, so much activity but little productivity, continuous employment disappointments and many other undesirable woes. DREAM: Sometimes your dreams can tell you when something is not right within your life. When you see yourself frequently in a dream of a place you've moved on from or doing the same things you've left or being with the people you've left. Example, you see yourself in your previous school, job, career, or business. Or you see yourself in your village, former house or driving your former car. God's plan for His children is good and not evil to give them a hope and a future (Jer. 29:11). You're supposed to make progress in every area of your life. Because God has provided you all you need to be great here on earth. He said He'll bless the work of your hand and the fruit of your body. Therefore, every project you embark on should prosper. But the thief, the murderer and the destroyer- satan is working day and night to stop you from achieving your God given destiny, because he knows that his time is short (John 10:10; Rev. 12:12) Close the devil's access routes into your life. Demons can whisper in your ear and fortify ungodly thoughts in any area of your mind that isn’t renewed, by Gods Word. In this way, the demonic cycle may actually empower the vicious circle. Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),” Although Jesus received the full wrath of God on our behalf when He was crucified, and though He took the curse upon Himself, many Christians do not automatically live a victorious life, and they don't understand why. I have known many Christians that have dealt with unseen things that always seemed like one step forward, two steps back. Jesus made everything available to us. Every promise is ours through faith. The evidence of our faith is obedience to God’s word. John 10:10 tells us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” The enemy is a liar, murderer, a thief and a rule-breaker. Satan is a career criminal. That’s his job. A career criminal is not going to abide by the rules or obey the law UNLESS someone ENFORCES the law. That is our job! If you think the enemy cannot rob, steal or mess with your life simply because you are under a new covenant of grace, you are quite mistaken. Salvation is not the same as deliverance. The effects of unbroken curses are not a salvation issue. They are a deliverance and sanctification issue. Jesus dealt with the curse of sin, but He has given us all authority to overcome the enemy by faith. Curses need to be identified and broken in the lives of saints. Breaking the curse takes away the legal right that demons have to operate. Once the legal grounds are destroyed, demons can be forced to manifest and cast out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this word, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind….” There can still be areas of our life - habits and mindsets that are not yet renewed, and perhaps open doors to the enemy that we have a hard time figuring out. We have to appropriate that victory Jesus won for us by cooperating with our own deliverance. If I want my sins forgiven, I cannot retain unforgiveness and bitterness. Yes, grace is available, but if I reject that grace and make excuses to act in accordance with my own desires instead of God’s will, I find myself outside of God’s covenant through my disobedience. If I attempt to prove my own righteousness apart from the righteousness Christ has provided for me, I am outside of covenant. If I want the promise of blessing, I need to make sure I am following the spiritual principles outlined in God’s word so that I can receive the fullness of His blessing. Whatever I sow, I will reap in like kind. If I want to extract something out of the kingdom of God, I must secure that blessing through right responses to God. What seeds am I planting? What am I sowing? There is an equal responsibility of obedience, faith and action required in order to demonstrate faith and reap the benefits of God’s promises. The just shall live by faith. This month of July I want to encourage all Christians on social media that want breakthrough and restoration to Fast & Pray along with us this month’s 3 day fast. This is an event anybody can partake of anywhere around the world in your home, church, friend’s house, in the village or in the city etc with the main purpose of getting people to repent and turn back to God on the same calendar day through fasting with the help of prayer taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14, that it will build awareness of the need to pray for your local church. Though we are on different timelines I encourage you to just follow the dates for your respective countries. Date: 17th,18th & 19th of July 2020 Fasting Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Fasting Type: Fasting from food but drinking water or fluids for those that can. You are welcome to break the fast each evening and start again either after meal (6am-6pm) or you can go straight through. Fasting Teaching - https://youtu.be/DFWacd-8ShY THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL IN PRAYER IS LISTENING FOR GOD’S DIRECTIONS FOR OUR LIVES! See God has unique relationships with all of us and therefore our prayer lives are unique as well. Some of us put unnecessary pressures on ourselves to pray like someone we have heard, when the most important thing that God wants from us, is for us to Seek His Face (Psalm 27:8), to look for Him, the All Knowing for guidance, to love on Him, and continuously build a relationship with Him (John 15:14-15). A relationship with God is similar in one way to relationships with others, the more we communicate the stronger the relationship becomes; the communication is in fact our relationship. Prayer is our relationship with God. No prayer = no relationship with God More prayer = BIGGER relationship with God A humble heart and a mind open to Jesus is what He expects, and the Holy Spirit will do the rest (Romans 8:26,27). WHY SHOULD WE PRAY? We pray because we love God, We pray to worship God for who He is, We pray to say thanks to our Father, We pray to God to praise Him, We pray to petition God, We pray to confess our sins, We pray to intercede for others, We pray against the enemies of God, We pray to listen to God, We pray to resist temptation, We pray because He directs us to Baggage Control: getting rid of the emotional and spiritual baggage of the past to enable God’s people to be free to do what God called us to do Whether this is your first time fasting, or you have done this many times, the result is always a closer connection with God and a stronger church family. Please let us know you’ll be fasting with us – that we may cover you in prayer also. PRACTICAL TIPS FOR FASTING: 1. Avoid medical and even natural herbal drugs. However, if you are under medication, these should only be withdrawn upon the advice of your doctor. 2. Limit your physical activity and exercise. If you have a workout routine, adjust it accordingly. 3. Rest as much as you can if needed be. 4. Maintain an attitude of prayer throughout the day. Intercede for your family, pastors, church, nation, missionaries & world missions, etc. 5. Drink plenty of clean water if you are joining the water fast. 6. As your body adjusts, be prepared for temporary bouts of physical weakness as well as a greater likelihood of impatience, irritability, and anxiety. FASTING BRINGS REVIVAL: “. . . in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So, I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:2,3 Fasting helps us prevail in prayer and intercession. Daniel understood that Israel was headed for destruction. He also knew that in times like these, there is only one recourse—intercession through praying and fasting. Throughout human history, God has brought revival and delivered nations from destruction in response to prayer and fasting. FASTING IS AN ACT OF HUMILITY AND CONSECRATION: “. . . I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting . . .” Psalm 35:13 Humility results in the grace of God (James 4:6). When we humble ourselves in prayer, we have instant access to the heart of God. As we deny ourselves as an act of consecration, we are better able to exercise self-control over our emotions and desires. SPIRITUAL CLEANSING & SPIRITUAL EYES OPENED: Fasting can be done for one meal, one day, one month or for however long God leads. It depends on how the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Shorter fasts are easier to endure until we have built up our “spiritual muscles”. A three day fast is most beneficial as a spiritual cleansing. An example of this is Paul’s being thrust into his fast upon conversion. After the three days of cleansing, he received the Holy Spirit and his eyesight when Ananias laid hands on him (Acts 9:17-18). We also can be spiritually cleansed by fasting so that we receive more of the Lord’s Spirit and have our spiritual eyes opened to new dimensions. A three day fast is also especially helpful in breaking any addictive habits. These then are two reasons for fasting: We receive spiritual cleansing and our spiritual eyes are opened, and we also obtain victory over the devil. When Jesus encountered Satan, He was able to overcome Him because His fasting had given Him spiritual strength. Isaiah 58:6 also gives us light on this purpose of fasting: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Many people believe that fasting is to move the hand of God, when in actuality it is to make Satan turn loose of the things he is holding. BREAKING STRONGHOLDS & BUILDING FAITH: Fasting loosens the bands of wickedness. When Jesus discussed the keys to the kingdom, He told us to bind and loose. When we fast, we loose the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, set the oppressed free, and break every yoke of the enemy. Fasting is an important key to getting the victory over hard situations that do not seem to respond to normal prayer. Fasting builds our faith. In fact, this is what Jesus meant when he spoke to the disciples in Matthew 17:21 in answer to why they were not able to cast a demon out of a child. He said, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” He was telling them if they wanted their faith to be at such a level as to be able to cast out demons, then they must fast and pray for their faith to increase. Fasting also makes it easier for us to hear the voice of the Lord. We find an account of this in Acts 13:2 “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” While fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke to them and gave them direction. We too can be directed by the Lord if we seek Him through prayer and fasting. When we deny our natural cravings, our spiritual antennas become more attuned. We become more sensitive to His voice as we divest ourselves of worldly distractions. We are better able to focus on God and submit to His will. This opens the door for more of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Fasting and mourning are strongly associated in the Bible. Two examples of this are found in Ezra and Nehemiah. Ezra 10:6: “Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.” Nehemiah 1:4: “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.” From these Scriptures, we see that fasting and travail (a prayer burden from the Lord that brings crying and tears) were combined. Both of these men were fasting for the repentance of God’s people. How we need this same kind of intercession today. Here were men so burdened for the sins of their people that they fasted, travailed, and prayed. DAY 1: - BREAKING THE CYCLE OF DEFEAT (SET BACK) FRIDAY 17th of July 2020 Scripture for Reading: Judges 6:1-10 “6 Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, 2 and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made for themselves the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains. 3 So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. 4 Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. 5 For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were [a]without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it. 6 So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. 7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, 8 that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of [b]bondage; 9 and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land. 10 Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My voice.’” In today's key Scripture, we read the story of the Israelites in the days of Gideon being under attack by the Midianites on a periodic basis. This the bible said, was because the Lord had turned them over to the Midianites for seven years because Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. There are a few things that I would like us to look at in this Scripture: Israel was overwhelmed by the Midianites. It was a persistent cycle of defeat, losses and discouragement that had occurred consistently every year for seven years. They would Sow their crops, but as the bible says: Judges 6:3-4 “Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites, and the people from the east would attack them. 4They invaded the land and devoured its crops all the way to Gaza. They left nothing for the Israelites to eat, and they took away the sheep, oxen, and donkeys.” Whenever the Israelites planted the crops, they had an onslaught from their enemies who over ran them and devoured their harvest. This was a systemic attack on Israel's prosperity and wellbeing that the bible says, left Israel impoverished and as written in the ESV translation: “And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel cried out for help to the LORD.” (Judges 6:6) If we read the story further (Judges 6-10), we see God through the mouth of His prophet, telling Israel why they were suffering such a fate. They were living in disobedience to God’s command. An interesting thought about this story can be found in Judges 6:1,6-8: Let’s first look at Judges 6:1 “The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD gave them into the hand of Midian seven years.”; Then Judges 6:6 - “And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel cried out for help to the LORD.” And finally, Judges 6:8a - “When the people of Israel cried out to the LORD on account of the Midianites, the LORD sent a prophet to the people of Israel.” It is interesting to note that WHEN the people of Israel cried out to the Lord for help (v6), He sent a prophet to tell them what was wrong (v8), and thereafter raised a deliverer for them in Gideon. Reading verse 1 of the story again, the thought occurred to me: Could Israel have been in this terrible situation for so long, and only just cried out to the Lord for help after suffering for 7 years? If that was so, the reason may be determined from the verse: The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them over into the hand of Midian 7 years. Could it be that they were not aware, that they were oblivious to their disobedience and that the Lord had turned His back on them? Could it be that they did evil in the sight of the Lord but not in their own eyes? Think about that for a moment. How many of us are suffering under the curse of oppression, defeat and discouragement and have spent years fighting and “binding” the devil, but the real “enemy” is closer home than we thought? God allowed the Midianites to devour Israel's harvest! For you reading this today, if you have been caught in a cycle of defeat for any length of time, maybe the first step to take in breaking this cycle is for you to allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart and show you where you may be off with God. We see a similar scenario of God allowing the devourer to prevail over his people in Haggai 1:1-11. But as we will have noticed in both instances, when the people cried out to God for help, God sent a word through the mouth of His prophets, showed them where they had gone wrong, stopped the mouth of the devourer and brought restoration when they repented. Hallelujah! This is a prophetic word of God to you today, that your change has come! If you will align yourself to Him and align your heart to His word and will for your life, He will manifest as your Deliverer and the Restorer of your destiny! For we know by His word, that He will not always be angry with us…that is the Good News, the benefit of the grace and redemptive power in the blood of Jesus and the cross of Calvary. TODAY'S PRAYER POINTS: Meditate on 1 John 1:8-9 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 2 Chronicles 16:9a - "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him." Pray as David did in Psalm 19:12-14 “Who can know all his errors? Please do not punish me for sins I am unaware of. 13 Moreover, keep me from committing flagrant sins; do not allow such sins to control me. Then I will be blameless, and innocent of blatant rebellion. 14 May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my sheltering rock and my redeemer.” Cry out to God for help against the devourer. Petition God to bring an end to your cycle of defeat. Ask God to turn your cycle of defeat into cycles of blessings. Pray these prayers for yourself, your family and the body Christ as a whole. Precious saints there is good news! If you want to break demonic cycles in your life, humble yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to help you find the Scriptures that will serve as your double-edged sword to slice into pieces the demonic strongholds in your mind. Even if it’s a generational curse or if you need full-blown deliverance, the blood of Jesus, the name of Christ and the Word of God are more powerful weapons than anything Satan has in his arsenal. Dig down to the root of your thinking. Where did it start? Forgive anyone who hurt you. Forgive yourself. Receive forgiveness from the Lord for your wrong thinking and self-sabotage. Ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit, love the people around you, take on a new attitude, and call those things that be not as though they were. As you do, you’ll begin to see things as He does—through the eyes of faith—and your behavior will begin to change. You’ll break the demonic cycle and stop walking in vicious circles. I assure you, whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Start to pray this prayer below with a humble heart and contrite spirit. Dear Heavenly Father in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You on behalf of myself and all those in my ancestral line that came before me. I ask for Your forgiveness for our sins, and I acknowledge that many of us never asked for Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior. Many of us committed sins and trespasses in rebellion to Your ways. Forgive us for the grief we caused, the injustices and the bloodshed. Forgive us for broken covenants, vows and agreements and for the curses that came as a result of those actions. Although I may not have personally taken part in these sins, I understand that there is a need to recognize the sins of those that came before us and I ask for the blood of Jesus to atone for these things so that we may be cleansed of all these unrighteous acts. Please allow all those that have been affected by this generational root of bitterness, grief and poverty now find the grace to forgive, even generations of mistreatment and injustices. Father, You said that if I would humble myself, pray and seek Your face...If I would turn and repent from my wicked ways, You said You would forgive my sins. Whether other family members or myself have partaken of these sins knowingly or unknowingly, I ask Your forgiveness and I renounce: All spirits of fear, the fear of man that brings a snare, self- pity, insecurity, and inferiority. Forgive me for the need to control or manipulate others out of a sense of fear, insecurity or inferiority. Forgive me for not trusting in your provision or your timing, and for failing to rest in Your love. Father, I thank you that Your perfect love casts out all fear according to 1 John 4:18. I come out of agreement with the spirit of fear and command it to leave me now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ. Let the curse of fear and anxiety be broken now in Jesus name. DAY 2: - OPEN HEAVENS SATURDAY 18th of July 2019 Scripture for Reading: Acts 10:1-3 “There was a certain man in Cæsarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always. 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Assurance of Faith We are believing God to bring an open heaven whilst we are waiting on the Lord in fasting and prayers. In this first instalment, I will like us to consider some things that we can hold on to, as we stand in prayers to believe God for our breakthrough. What do we have to do to experience open heavens in our lives? From the scriptures that we have been examining, we can see some helpful patterns emerge. One thing is very certain: Child of God, you can live under open heavens. It is God's desire and plan for your life to live under, and experience continually open heavens. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places, and we know that Christ is seated in the very presence and at the right hand of the Father. WHAT TO DO God's Sovereignty — Many times, God opens the heavens to give man a revelation of His divine presence as a sovereign act without man's input. Prayers — Our prayers position us to experience open heavens. In our theme scripture today, Cornelius “provoked” open heavens, as the bible said concerning him: “Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10:3b This is also confirmed by the following two scriptures: Luke 3:21— “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened…” James 5:17-18 —"Elijah was a human being like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and there was no rain on the land for three years and six months! 18 Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.“ Have you remained steadfast and importunate in your prayers? Giving — In the passage of scripture that we read earlier (Acts 10:3b), Cornelius's prayers and his generous giving pushed through the heavens to come before God. Your giving (material and financial) can cause the heavens to be open unto you. Are you generous and consistent in your giving? This principle can also be seen highlighted in Malachi 3:10 — "Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my temple. Test me in this matter,“ says the LORD who rules over all, "to see if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no room for it all.” Are you faithful in your tithes and offerings to those the Lord lays it upon your heart to give? Righteous Living and Obedience— As we read in from these two scripture passages from (In Deuteronomy 28:1-23 “12 The Lord will open to you His good [b]treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you [c]heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.” and 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 “ When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”) , we see that God warned Israel that the heavens will be shut up against them if they lived in rebellion and sinned against Him; and conversely, He promised Solomon that with repentant heart and righteous living, His people's prayers will guarantee open heavens over their lives. Are you living a life of obedience and righteousness? Walking in God's Purpose — One of the ways for us to enjoy open heavens over our lives is to make a commitment to aligning with and walking in God's purpose for our lives. When we do this, God backs up His word in our lives with the whole of heaven's resources made available to fulfil His vision and call for our lives. Are you walking in alignment with God's purpose for your life? Faith — This is the building block that underpins every other thing that we have talked about. It is the assurance of faith that we have in Christ Jesus, that guarantees us access to the throne room of God. As the bible says in Ephesians 3:12b — “…in whom we have boldness and confident access to God because of Christ's faithfulness”. As God did when Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal, and later when he declared to Ahab about God opening up the heavens to send down rain, God honoured Elijah because he honoured and declared God's words in faith. God responded to Elijah's faith by opening up the heavens to magnify His Name. Child of God, God wants to do the same in your life as well. Will you let Him? PRAYER FOCUS Meditate on the points highlighted above, and use them as a checklist to prepare yourself as we on day 2 for this month's fast. Is there anything you need to do or redress in order to position yourself for what we are praying to God for? Begin to petition God based on His word and pray that you will begin to walk in the tangible manifestation of open heavens over your life—your household, family, ministry, business, finances, church etc. Declare and confess over your life, that from today, you will begin to operate and live under open heavens. That God will open the heavens unto you and over you. Declare that every area of your life will begin to manifest the blessings and evidence of open heavens in the Name of Jesus. Intercede on behalf of your nation and the nations of the earth. Bind every satanic spirit that is coming against the nations. Rebuke the spirit of corruption in the name of Jesus. Rebuke the spirit of murder and abortion over each nation. Ask God to shine His light into our society's and expose every evil work. Pray that the darkness of sin might be dispelled through the light of God’s Word. The Bible tells us that promotion comes not from the east or the west but from God alone. (Psalm 75:6-7) Humble yourself before the Lord that He may promote you in His time. Seek His will and submit your plans to Him. Give honor to the Lord today. He is your rock, your fortress, and your shield! The name of the Lord is a strong tower, so run into his name for safety today. Ask the Lord to guide you and direct your life. Whatever decisions you are facing today, commit them into God’s hands and pray for wisdom and direction. Pray that the Lord will set you apart and set you on high so that your life will be a witness and testimony to the world. Ask God to elevate you at your work, in your family, and in your community, so that his light can shine out from you. There is much error being taught in churches today. Pray for a return to the Bible, as our only source for doctrine and practice. Ask God to bring a revival of truth to the nations of the earth. A revival of Word & Spirit. Intercede for lost souls. Ask God to lift the veil of deception from their eyes, so that they will see the truth of Jesus. Pray for your family and friends who don’t know Christ. Ask God to convict them of sin, and soften their hearts to receive His Word. Claim the promise of God’s blessing today. Ask God to increase you finances. Pray for Divine favor to open doors for you so that you will have contracts that will lead to financial success. Promotions in the workplace. Inherited blessings that will chase you. Seek the Lord for the wisdom you need to make wise financial decisions and investments. FURTHER PRAYER FOCUS DAY 2: Ask God to cause revival living waters to begin to touch every area of your life, family, your nation, your church, Narrow Path Ministries (Pastor Robert & Aida Clancy) and for them to bring healing to every sickness, life in place of death, fruitfulness in place of barrenness, multiplication in place of stagnation. Cover Pst Robert Clancy and his family from every reprisal attack from the enemy for all the work he is doing on the front lines against the forces of darkness. Yes, Lord protect them with your warrior angels as a hedge of protection around everything they do and go in Jesus Mighty Name! Pray this prayer: Father, we are confident of this very thing; that He who has begun a good work in us; and in the Narrow Path Ministries that you would provide a building and new home for the ministry to have a training, healing and revival (worship centre) retreat centre it in Jesus name (Philippians 1:6). Give thanks to God for this and for answered prayers in your personal life also that He would provide for you according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Remember as you pray for others, God takes care of your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Shalom DAY 3: - GUILTY BUT DISCHARGED SUNDAY 19th of May 2019 Scripture for Reading: John 14:30 “I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler (prince) of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.” Proverbs 28:13 “He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” On this third day of our fasting and prayers, we want to clear the way that was opened with our thanksgiving, from any resistance or opposition of the enemy's accusations against us. John 14:30 — “The prince of this world cometh but he has nothing in me” (KJV). What Jesus was saying — the Prince of this world cometh, but He has no hold, has no claim, has no power over me; He has nothing against me with which he can accuse me! This is one of the boldest statements that you'd find any man ever utter against Satan. However, unlike every or any other man, only Jesus Christ could confidently make such an audacious declaration without any fear of contradiction, because He was totally free from any sin that the enemy could hold against Him. The Bible tells us that the accuser accuses us before the Father day and night, looking for legitimate charges that he might bring against us before the courts of heaven to oppose or to resist us. But then again, we are also told that we have a counter suit against the enemy on our behalf, brought by the speaking of the blood of Jesus — He ever liveth to intercede for us before the Father! The Bible tells us that unconfessed sin is a very powerful tool and an imminently destructive weapon in the hands of the accuser. As the Bible says in our other bible text for today in Proverbs 28:13; "He who covers his iniquities will not prosper"; If the Prince of this world were to turn his searchlight on us, he would no doubt be confident of finding things in our lives with which to accuse us before God in other to hinder, resist or oppose us. The concluding half of Proverbs 28:13 goes on to give us hope of redemption —"...but the one who confesses and renounces them will find mercy". Ask the Holy Spirit to turn His searchlight on you today to highlight any areas of your life where you might have sinned or are sinning against God. Judge yourself that you might not be judged. Ask Him to reveal anything to you that the enemy might have used or is using to accuse you before the courts of heaven. Finish by praying and meditating on Psalm 19:12-14. Claim the promise of the scriptures in 1 John 1:9. Our God has a great pedigree of making good on His promises — He is FULLY invested in your success. That's the deal that Jesus brokered for you on the cross of Calvary! Listen to what the bible says in the book of James (James 2:2-8 ):"My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything. 5But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him. 6But he must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed around by the wind. 7For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8since he is a double-minded individual, unstable in all his ways." I believe that God has been bringing many people that He is going to use mightily in this coming season, to the place where they will have lost all confidence in self, and had to bring the flesh and self to the cross in total Surrender. A place of emptiness and brokenness, where we had no choice but to make room for God to fill the vacuum that is left in us and to trust and depend entirely on the Holy Spirit, to inspire the wisdom and the strength to navigate through the labyrinth of the maze of confusion and sometimes even despair that we have been wading through. That was the story of many Christians last year – a sense of dissatisfaction and restlessness about the status quo that I believe the Holy Spirit instigated to create a hunger and a yearning for more of Him in this coming season. I believe also, that this season will begin to manifest the fruits of our travails in prayers and the times that we have spent in patiently waiting on Him, as we learn to lay down our agenda and let Him work His will in us. I am very excited about the remaining of this year despite the shaking to the nations; there will be a great harvest of souls returning to the Lord and fresh converts added to the body. As dark as things may have been or indeed are going to be, that is the cue for true believers to arise and shine with a reflection of His glory Make sure you are one of them that God will find useful and available for this end time move of His Glory. FURTHER PRAYER FOCUS: Pray for a new and great manifestation of God’s miracle power in your life, Narrow Path Ministries, Your church, and Your nation. Seek the Lord for miracles, signs, and wonders that will amaze the people and bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God’s healing power would come into your life in all of its fullness. Ask that He would heal you from sickness and disease, and from every hurt, brokenness, and defeat. (3 John vs. 2; Isaiah 53:5) There are hidden strongholds that are blocking your progress in life. Pray against those strongholds. Ask God to reveal them to you so that they can be broken (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Name the specific stronghold in your life and family and command it to be broken in Jesus’ name. Thank the Lord that He is changing you. Thank Him for His love that does not want to leave you the way you are. Pray that His plans and His will come to pass in your life as you submit to Him. Pray for all the singles partaking in the fast who are seeking life partners. Ask God to guide them to the person who will really be a blessed spouse to that person. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and strength to overcome fleshly desires. Pray for the Lord to open the doors to revival within each of our cities to reach the lost souls within this hour, that a mighty move of God would sweep the nations and whatever God is doing in this hour He would include all those that hunger and thirst for Him. In closing, hear this admonition from the Lord to you today from 1Pet 5:8-11."Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, strong in your faith, because you know that your brothers and sisters throughout the world are enduring the same kinds of suffering. 10 And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 To him belongs the power forever. Amen." Shalom, Shalom, Shalom
