3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR FEBRUARY 26th, 27th & 28th 2021

THEME: "DESTINY MAKERS"

SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 1:4-5 "The word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations"

One could say that destiny makes the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary. Destiny is not a preordained path chosen for you, that will be accomplished whether or not you cooperate with it. Destiny is a special calling upon your life that the Lord purposed for you before you were born. It takes full collaboration also on your part. God loves you so much who created you with destiny in mind. He took great care informing and equipping you to carry his plan out for your life. He has also been speaking it to your heart, placing a desire in you to pursue it. When you operate as God designed you to, you will experience incredible joy.

If you look at the great men in the Bible, you will see that they were fully aware that they had a destiny to fulfill. They knew God had a plan for their lives, but it also required for them to call it forth and step and in faith. See like Jeremiah, David knew the intensity of God's love for him and that is why he wrote Psalm 139, he knew that the Lord created him in the womb with a purpose in mind.

Psalm 139:13-18 “For You formed my inward parts; You [f]covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for [g]I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My [h]frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.”

Isaiah also spoke of his calling in Isaiah 49:1 "Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name." Jesus operated in his purpose while on this earth and knew what he came to do. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." ( Luke 4:18-19 ).

Lastly the Apostle Paul wrote that he was called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God many times in the epistles. Recounting his mission to everyone he ministered to. A mission that was set apart for him alone. All these men overcame extraordinary circumstances because they were sure of their calling. They had a destiny; they knew God loved and chose them for a specific purpose. The end result was the world was blessed from their obedience.

Through this month’s fast program God wants you to know Him more and know His destiny plan for your life. He wants you to be set apart to be a vessel that can be used for His glory. So, no matter what mountain is before you hindrance your destiny God will turn your situation around to use for your good and His glory. No matter the circumstances you might be facing today, whether it be your marriage restoration, healing, deliverance, financial breakthrough, promotion, employment, vindication etc it is your inheritance to receive and your destiny to walk into.

This month of February 2021 we want to encourage all Christians on social media that want breakthrough and restoration to Fast & Pray along with us this month’s 3 day fast.

This is an event anybody can partake of anywhere around the world in your home, church, friend’s house, in the village or in the city etc with the main purpose of getting people to repent and turn back to God on the same calendar day through fasting with the help of prayer taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14, that it will build awareness of the need to pray for your local church. Though we are on different timelines I encourage you to just follow the dates for your respective countries.

Date: 26th,27th & 28th of February 2021

Fasting Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Fasting Type: Fasting from food but drinking water or fluids for those that can. You are welcome to break the fast each evening and start again either after meal (6am-6pm) or you can go straight through.

Fasting Teaching - https://youtu.be/DFWacd-8ShY

PRACTICAL TIPS FOR FASTING:

1. Avoid medical and even natural herbal drugs. However, if you are under medication, these should only be withdrawn upon the advice of your doctor.

2. Limit your physical activity and exercise. If you have a workout routine, adjust it accordingly.

3. Rest as much as you can if needed be.

4. Maintain an attitude of prayer throughout the day. Intercede for your family, pastors, church, nation, missionaries & world missions, etc.

5. Drink plenty of clean water if you are joining the water fast.

6. As your body adjusts, be prepared for temporary bouts of physical weakness as well as a greater likelihood of impatience, irritability, and anxiety.

FASTING BRINGS REVIVAL:

“. . . in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:2,3

Fasting helps us prevail in prayer and intercession. Daniel understood that Israel was headed for destruction. He also knew that in times like these, there is only one recourse—intercession through praying and fasting. Throughout human history, God has brought revival and delivered nations from destruction in response to prayer and fasting.

FASTING IS AN ACT OF HUMILITY AND CONSECRATION:

“. . . I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting . . .” Psalm 35:13

Humility results in the grace of God (James 4:6). When we humble ourselves in prayer, we have instant access to the heart of God. As we deny ourselves as an act of consecration, we are better able to exercise self-control over our emotions and desires.

SPIRITUAL CLEANSING & SPIRITUAL EYES OPENED:

Fasting can be done for one meal, one day, one month or for however long God leads. It depends on how the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Shorter fasts are easier to endure until we have built up our “spiritual muscles”. A three day fast is most beneficial as a spiritual cleansing. An example of this is Paul’s being thrust into his fast upon conversion. After the three days of cleansing, he received the Holy Spirit and his eyesight when Ananias laid hands on him (Acts 9:17-18). We also can be spiritually cleansed by fasting so that we receive more of the Lord’s Spirit and have our spiritual eyes opened to new dimensions. A three day fast is also especially helpful in breaking any addictive habits.

These then are two reasons for fasting: We receive spiritual cleansing and our spiritual eyes are opened, and we also obtain victory over the devil. When Jesus encountered Satan, He was able to overcome Him because His fasting had given Him spiritual strength. Isaiah 58:6 also gives us light on this purpose of fasting: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Many people believe that fasting is to move the hand of God, when in actuality it is to make Satan turn loose of the things he is holding.

BREAKING STRONGHOLDS & BUILDING FAITH:

Fasting looses the bands of wickedness. When Jesus discussed the keys to the kingdom, He told us to bind and loose. When we fast, we loose the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, set the oppressed free, and break every yoke of the enemy. Fasting is an important key to getting the victory over hard situations that do not seem to respond to normal prayer.

Fasting builds our faith. In fact, this is what Jesus meant when he spoke to the disciples in Matthew 17:21 in answer to why they were not able to cast a demon out of a child. He said, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” He was telling them if they wanted their faith to be at such a level as to be able to cast out demons, then they must fast and pray for their faith to increase.

Fasting also makes it easier for us to hear the voice of the Lord. We find an account of this in Acts 13:2 “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

While fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke to them and gave them direction. We too can be directed by the Lord if we seek Him through prayer and fasting.

When we deny our natural cravings, our spiritual antennas become more attuned. We become more sensitive to His voice as we divest ourselves of worldly distractions. We are better able to focus on God and submit to His will. This opens the door for more of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Fasting and mourning are closely associated in the Bible. Two examples of this are found in Ezra and Nehemiah.

Ezra 10:6: “Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.”

Nehemiah 1:4: “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.”

From these Scriptures, we see that fasting and travail (a prayer burden from the Lord that brings crying and tears) were combined. Both of these men were fasting for the repentance of God’s people. How we need this same kind of intercession today. Here were men so burdened for the sins of their people that they fasted, travailed and prayed.

Day 1 – ECHOING YOUR DESTINY

Friday, February 26th, 2021

Scripture Reading For Today: Mark 11:23-24 “23 I tell you the truth, if someone says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

As I meditated on the bible text for today, I also am reminded of what Jesus says in John 12:49-50 “For I have not spoken from my own authority, but the Father himself who sent me has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. Thus the things I say, I say just as the Father has told me.”

Precious saints, God wants you to know this truth today that what you confess and repeat with your mouth is what you will become, therefore you must learn to call forth your destiny!

The biggest mistake we make is when we start to believe the lies of the enemy and confess those lies and negative words over our life, family and situation like parrots when things don’t go to plan. But Not anymore!

Now as you know I love going to the mountain in the remote bush of Australia to be alone with the Lord. See when I am alone on the mountain, I normally love to call out to the Lord from the mountain top looking over the edge and then hear my echo returns to me of the same words I called out to start with. See in Australia it is common when you are trying to find another person in the bush (Forrest) that we say the words Cooee! This term is only used in Australia and usually in the bush, to attract attention, find missing people, or indicate one's own location. When done correctly and loudly a call of "cooee" can carry over a considerable distance.

“Let me take you slightly off track for a moment with this and tell you a quick scientific fact about what an echo is and show you also how it relates to a spiritual sense. One of the dictionary definitions of an echo is: “A sound or series of sounds caused by the reflection of sound waves from a surface back to the listener”.

Please note the three words of the definition that I highlighted - “Reflection” and “back” and “listener”.

Why are these important?

Let's look at two passages from the bible to see a principle at play here. First, 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

When you look into a mirror, the image that you see is a reflection of yourself that the mirror is throwing back at you.

What this scripture is telling us, is that if what we look upon and fix our gaze upon is the word of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, our lives become transformed as it begins to mirror or reflect the glory of God that is revealed to us about His word. In short; what you see, is what you reflect. To put it another way:

What you look at, is what you become in the same way, at the risk of over-simplifying the principle of reflection, the same idea works with sounds.

When a sound hits a reflective surface, it is returned back as an echo to the listener. The key thing to note here is the word “listener”; who doesn't even have to be the one that spoke the word or made the sound in the first place!

Think about that for a moment...

Three important spiritual truths are established from this:

1. What you listen to, is what is reflected back to you

2. Who you listen to, is who you reflect, repeat or echo

If you imagine your life and every situation you are faced with, as reflective surfaces,

3. The words that you speak to them or which people declare upon them, are the words that are reflected back to you.

Sooner or later, your life will be shaped by what you hear and it then begins to echo whichever word is prominent in your hearing! Remember what the bible says in Romans‬ ‭10:17‬: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” ‬

That's why Jesus also says in Mark 4:24, “Be careful about what you hear…”

By the same token, Doubt, Discouragement, Disillusionment and Defeat also invariably come by hearing; but by not hearing the word of God.

We need to constantly remind ourselves what God has already spoken concerning us, and make a conscious decision to echo those words in faith every day, through the Rhema word He gives to us for our life’s.

As Jesus says in the Scriptures, “The mouth speaks out what the heart is full of”. Start filling your heart and your mind with words of life so that your mouth can begin to speak what is overflowing from your heart.

This is more than just “positive confessions”; and just to be clear, I'm definitely not talking about any New Age, “positive thinking”, “bring out the magic in your mind” stuff mumbo-jumbo.

I'm talking about feeding on, standing on and speaking forth the life-giving word of God which He has spoken to you through His Son Jesus Christ; and breathed on by His Holy Spirit. For you to speak right and echo life-giving words, you need to first hear life-giving words. That's why Jesus says in John 6:63, “The words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life”!

There really isn't much more for me to write to you today, but to exhort you to spend quality time meditating on the promises of God that we have been talking about over the past few days, and speak them out loud over your life and into this new season. Let your mouth connect with your heart and speak forth your destiny in the Name of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Ghost.

Take heed what you hear. Another translation says “Take heed how you hear".

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 1:

Declare by the Spirit of God, how this season must turn out for you!

For someone reading this, the prayer that is specific to you, is to first Ask God to give you the grace and the wisdom to separate yourself from every source of negative pronouncements that have limited your faith and walk with Him.

Start praying for the Remaining of 2021 with a Focus on the month of MARCH and prophesy into the month concerning your life, your family and the church.

Call each of the mountains in your life by name. All those things that have been a struggle, every challenge, every problem, everything that has been a hindrance to your progress. All those things that have brought you pain, made you cry; every mountain of discouragement and disappointment, every set back, everything that has been a source of embarrassment and shame; and command them to be removed from your life and from your season and cast into the sea in the mighty Name of Jesus!

Pray for Narrow Path Ministries (Rev Robert & Aida Clancy) and your church that God will supply exceeding, abundantly above all we could ask or think. Lord any spirit of sabotage that is coming against this ministry be exposed and cast back into the pit of hell in Jesus mighty name! Pray that every financial need will be met and that we will have more than enough to carry out the vision for this year and beyond.

Amen.

Day 2: “GET READY TO CONFESS"

Saturday, February 27th, 2021

Scripture Reading For Today: Ezekiel 37:1-14 (Please read first)

Son of Man. Can these dry bones live?

That is the question that God is asking you today; same as He asked Ezekiel in our Scripture text for today.

God took Ezekiel on a journey of faith. He gave him a conducted tour with a panoramic view of what appeared to be a definitely hopeless situation with a forgone conclusion where you might say with every certainty and insight and reasoning that it was all over, the end came a long time ago, too late in the day to do anything about the situation, impossible; did I already mention hopeless?

From the vantage view that Ezekiel had of the sight before him, he would have had the privilege of being able to assess the problem from every angle possible and as far as he could see; would only possibly come to that one conclusion - too late, impossible.

Listen to Ezekiel again:

Ezekiel 37:2 “He made me walk all around among them. I realized there were a great many bones in the valley and they were very dry.”

God asked him - what do you say Ezekiel; is there any hope left for these ones?

In response to God's question, Ezekiel gave a non-comittal answer. He must have thought to himself: “Lord, I'm not sure if you are looking at the same situation as I am seeing in front of me. This mangled mess of dead men's remains. A long time dead; completely dried up, buried in a valley?". Ah Lord, thou knowest!

Maybe like Ezekiel, you are confronted today by a difficult challenge or you have been looking at a discouraging situation in your life where all hope appears to be lost and help has come too late in the day for you, to make any difference to a considered hopeless situation. You will understand exactly what Ezekiel must have felt in answering the question that God put to him - Ezekiel; do you see any chance of a change in this situation? Can you still see any good come out of this? Can life still come out of this decidedly dead and hopeless situation?

Ezekiel 37:4 “Then he said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and tell them: 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.”

Do you have any dry bones in your life? Those long-standing issues that have so far defied your prayers and have reached a stage where they can be deemed impossible? Hear what God is saying to you today:

Ezekiel 37:4 “Then he said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and tell them: 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.”

God is asking you to prophesy over the dry bones - call them by name and command them to “hear the word of the LORD”.

And this right here is the thing - we have been speaking about the dry bones in our lives; lamenting about them, declaring how bad they have become. The problems that is in our life’s and we have been declaring the how giant the mountains are in our life without the faith the move them. The enemy wants us to talk about how terrible and hopeless the situation is, so we will never escape from them.

But now, the almighty God, the creator of the universe, the one who spoke all of creation into existence out of nothing, but by the word of His mouth is asking you to declare that same word to your dry bones right now! Hallelujah.

The bible said: Genesis 1:1-3 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water. 3 God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light! 4God saw that the light was good, so God separated the light from the darkness. “

That is His point of reference for the miracle that He is about to do in your life in this season.

It is this same God that we are talking about today! He is the unchangeable God. The God who was, who is, and who forevermore shall be. The eternal King of glory; the One who said into nothingness "Let there be” and spoke all of creation out of that nothingness. The same yesterday, today and forever. The God of all flesh; the God with whom NOTHING is or shall be impossible.

That's the One who said to Ezekiel as He is saying to you right now - You and everyone else have had your say about this situation. But now hear My words, I have something to say:

Tell this hopeless situation that you see before you in 2021 to hear the word that makes the impossible to become possible. Hear the word of the LORD!

Ezekiel 37:5-6 “This is what the sovereign LORD says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath into you and you will live. 6 I will put tendons on you and muscles over you and will cover you with skin; I will put breath in you and you will live. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

Stop talking about how things are, or how they have been and start prophesying how they will be, what they will become, prophesy the turnaround and change that God has decreed must happen.

In response to God's instructions Ezekiel prophesied as he was commanded and life returned to those dry bones and they lived, just like God said they would.

Ezekiel 37:10 “So I prophesied as I was commanded, and the breath came into them; they lived and stood on their feet, an extremely great army.”

The Lord is saying “My Child that vision that you thought had been killed by the enemy will yet rise again and come to fruition. Yes, I will even cause life to return to that hopeless situation within your life making you shall rise again. For I will cause you to stand stronger and firm on your feet again My Child. Just speak to every dry impossible area under the inspiration of My Spirit today”

Ezekiel received a prophetic message from God to Israel. He was talking about their future restoration and how even as impossible and hopeless as it may seem to them considering what has been and what was currently existing, His promises concerning Israel would still be fulfilled.

“Ezekiel 37:11-14 “Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Look, they are saying, 'Our bones are dry, our hope has perished; we are cut off.' "12 Therefore prophesy, and tell them, 'This is what the sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to open your graves and will raise you from your graves, my people. I will bring you to the land of Israel. 13 Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, my people. 14 I will place my breath in you and you will live; I will give you rest in your own land. Then you will know that I am the LORD - I have spoken and I will act, declares the LORD.”

I will close today's second day message with this word from the Lord Jesus Christ when He was presented with another similarly impossible, hopeless case of the now 4-day dead and decomposed, lifeless body of Lazarus. Did I make that clear enough? (Please read further in John 11:1-45).

John 11:25-26 “Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies, 26 and the one who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

The one question that you need to answer right this moment:

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life?

Do you know what that means? It means that He not only has the power to keep what is about to die alive; He also has the power to bring what is dead back to life. He's done it before, He can do it again; and what is even more important for you dear friend, is that He can and will do it in your situation too! Whether that is with your health, your marriage, your relationships, your wayward children, your finances, unemployment or migration issues.

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 2:

You will notice that yesterday, our theme and prayer focus dealt with those issues in our lives that are like mountains that loom large over us threatening to overwhelm us. And today, we are addressing the “dry bones”; the issues that are in the valley - The issues in that place where we have been brought so low and discouraged that we have lost hope.

This is to show you that our God is Lord over the issues in the valleys of your life just as He is Lord over the mountains as well. His reach is without limits, His Power is omnipotent.

Focus on the Remaining of 2021 with a Focus on the month of MARCH by prophesying into the month concerning your life, your family and the church.

Call all the “dry bones” in your life by name and bring them before God.

Repent of the words of death that you have spoken concerning them, and the doubt and unbelief that you have used to limit God in the situations.

Cancel every negative speaking from words that have been spoken about or prophesied into the situations.

Command the dry bones to hear the word of the LORD and declare the word of change to them.

Declare an end to these issues and declare your season free of these dry bones.

I prophesy that your change and your breakthrough have come in Jesus's Name. Amen

Pray this prayer: Father, we are confident of this very thing; that He who has begun a good work in us; and in the Narrow Path Ministries that you would provide a building for the ministry to have a training, healing and revival retreat centre it in Jesus name (Philippians 1:6). Give thanks to God for this and for answered prayers in your personal life also that He would provide for you according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Remember as you pray for others, God takes care of your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

Pray & Declare out loud: “By God’s grace as we have meet February and as Pastor Robert continues to pray for the nations that revival will be sparked within the hearts of each hungry soul. That as doors open in 2021 to travel abroad that chains of oppression would be broken, and that sickness will be healed in Jesus Mighty Name! We pray that the Lord would speak to the nation’s once again in a powerful way concerning things to come and that all nations would repent from all corruption, witchcraft & idol ancestral worship in Jesus Mighty Name.

As the popular saying goes:

Pray as though everything depended on God; act (PLAN) as though everything depended on you.

Faith is not allergic to planning...Plan by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and work out your faith. Selah

Ask the Lord to help you step out in faith for the remaining of this year and into 2021, that you will be a doer of the Word in every area of your life today.

DAY 3 — LOOKING WITH EYES OF FAITH

Sunday, February 28th, 2021

Scripture Reading For Today: 1 Kings 18:41-46 “Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” 42 So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” 44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, [a]‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.” 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. 46 Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded[b] up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”

A WORD FOR ALL SEASONS

The Lord is saying today: “Do not let anyone reduce your dream or your vision to the size of their own faith My Child. For faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen. See without faith you cannot please Me My Child, for you do not go by what you see in the natural, but your eyes of faith help you to believe what you do not see. When you walk in the spirit your faith is rewarded to see what you believe fulfilled. For I who have called you will do it in your life.”

What Do You Believe?

Over the past few days, a particular verse of scripture had also been playing in a loop in my mind -

"I will hasten after my word to perform it". This was a word spoken by God to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:12.

Please permit me to quote this verse of Scripture with an extended interpretation that is not rigidly within the original context in which it was spoken; however please note the principle which is conveyed in the message, which I believe is a universal truth about God's commitment or response to His word -

1. God always watches over His word to perform it. ("Heaven and earth may pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Luke 21:33)

2. He does it speedily (even though we may sometimes wish to disagree with that); the timing and speed of His action is always on time. As He says in His word, He makes all things beautiful in it's time...) Now that we've got that little intro out of the way, let's return to our main Scripture for Today (1Kings 18:41-46) and hear what God has to say to us.

There are so many spiritual insights that we can garner from this scripture text. I can highlight and preach on so many truths contained in those verses and I'm pretty sure even as you meditate on the text, the Holy Spirit will amplify many things to you personally.

However, there is one particular thing that I believe God wants to emphasise to you today. It is the Persistence of Faith.

TAKEAWAY:

It is not enough for you just to speak God's word, or just to confess and decree and declare that you believe His word...There comes a time when you will have to, like they say, "put the pedal to the metal", and ACT or take a stand on what you believe!

Standing in faith on the word will usually require:

Doggedness: The tenacity to keep holding on to your word from God in the face of conflicting information and what natural reason may be suggesting to you.

Aloneness: When you take this stance, it will sometimes bring you to an "alone" place, where you may find no one is willing to stand with you to believe God for your miracle. Many times, the journey to fulfilling your destiny cannot be made in a crowd. Think about that....

Persistence: You will need persistence to remain steadfast in believing. (Further Reading - Luke 18:1-8)

The fact that God has spoken or that you have declared the word of God does not mean that the change will happen instantly. Sometimes, we have to "fight the good fight of faith" and persevere, and having done all, to stand on His word till the change happens.

Just like Ezekiel had to do when he was prophesying to the dry bones - he could have stopped or given up at the point that he said:

Ezekiel 38:7-8 "So I prophesied as I was commanded. There was a sound when I prophesied - I heard a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 As I watched, I saw tendons on them, then muscles appeared, and skin covered over them from above, but there was no breath in them."

But he persisted and as the bible records, the change happened just like God promised it would:

Ezekiel 38:9:10 “He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, - prophesy, son of man - and say to the breath: 'This is what the sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these corpses so that they may live.'"So I prophesied as I was commanded, and the breath came into them; they lived and stood on their feet, an extremely great army."

Maybe in your case you've been waiting in fasting and prayers for some time now, and you are looking at the situation and thinking to yourself "I'm giving up; it doesn't look like this prayer thing is working - the situation isn't changing".

But God will have me say to you:

Take Another Look - Look Again!

Elijah could have given up after sending his servant to go up the mountain six times, for the sign of the rain that God had promised:

1 Kings 18:43 “He told his servant, "Go on up and look in the direction of the sea." So he went on up, looked, and reported, "There is nothing." Seven times Elijah sent him to look."

Elijah sent his servant back the 7th time because he was so sure of the word that God had said to him:

1 Kings 18:1-2 “ Sometime later, in the third year of the famine, the LORD told Elijah, "Go, make an appearance before Ahab, so I may send rain on the surface of the ground." 2 So Elijah went to make an appearance before Ahab."

Six times, the servant went and looked, and each time he returned with the discouraging news:

Still There is no sight of anything, NOTHING at all!

Each time Elijah would send him back - Go Look Again! Elijah persisted; and do you know what? God fulfilled His promise of rain; just like He said it would happen! Hallelujah!

Maybe like that servant you have looked to see the change that has been prophesied and all you can say is There is Nothing! Or you may be Elijah who has declared what God said, and the report that you keep hearing is: There is NOTHING!

I bid you dear Saint in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, before you give up; Look again!

An Interesting Thought For You To Consider:

In 1 Kings 18:41 “Elijah had declared to King Ahab: “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”

Is it possible that Elijah's servant heard this proclamation and consequently overlooked and disregarded the "small" fist-like cloud the first 6 times?

1 Kings 18:44 “The seventh time the servant said, "Look, a small cloud, the size of the palm of a man's hand, is rising up from the sea." Elijah then said, "Go and tell Ahab, 'Hitch up the chariots and go down, so that the rain won't overtake you.'"

I want you to please think about that for a moment - Like Elijah's servant, you may have been overlooking the cloud that is carrying your miracle because it doesn't fit the vision of what you think you are looking out for; because it doesn't appear to fit into your idea of what you think God has said He wants to do? Because it looks too small, too insignificant to signal the change you have been believing for?

"Do not despise the days of small beginnings says the Lord"; And again, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways", declares the Lord!

Look again...WHAT DO YOU SEE?

That "little" cloud that you have overlooked and disregarded and dismissed may be the "miracle cloud" carrying your breakthrough. Look again -

I hear the sound of an abundance of rain...

Can you hear it too?

PRAYER FOCUS:

Focus on the Remaining of 2021 with a Focus on the month of MARCH by prophesying into the month concerning your life, your family and the church.

Look at how things are in your life right now - What is your declaration of faith?

What word have you been holding on to? (Ps 119:49-50). Remember the word that You spoke to me and make it good… Do as You have said you would.

What has God commissioned you to do that you have given up on? What did you start by God's leading but have now given up on or abandoned mid-stream? Ask God to strengthen you and enable you to rise-up again and finish what He began in your life.

Confess the word of God: He who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it.

Are there any unfinished assignments that have you left undone and walked away from in defeat? This cycle of defeat must be broken off your life! Ask God to breathe a fresh breath of life into you to revive your dreams and your passion again.

Declare into your season: Discouragement and setbacks will not be my portion in this season in Jesus Name.

I am standing in faith and believing God with you, that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the Land of the living. Your expectations will not be disappointed and your hope will not fail in Jesus' Name. Stand strong in faith and keep rejoicing and praising His Name. Amen.

Pray for all the singles partaking in the fast who are seeking life partners. Ask God to guide them to the person who will really be a blessed spouse to that person. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and strength to overcome fleshly desires.

Pray for the Lord to open the doors to revival within each of our cities to reach the lost souls within this hour, that a mighty move of God would sweep the nations and whatever God is doing in this hour He would include all those that hunger and thirst for Him.

Finish by personalising and praying Psalm 20:1-9 over your life.

Shalom, Shalom, Shalom
