3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR AUGUST 2019

www.repentancerevival.com 3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR AUGUST 16th, 17th & 18th 2019

THEME: "BREAKOUT IS IMMINENT" “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.” (Isaiah 54:2-3) Please click onto the Link for more details of the program: https://www.repentancerevival.com/post/monthly-3-day-fasting This month of August I want to encourage all Christians on social media that want breakthrough and restoration to Fast & Pray along with us this month’s 3 day fast. This is an event anybody can partake of anywhere around the world in your home, church, friend’s house, in the village or in the city etc with the main purpose of getting people to repent and turn back to God on the same calendar day through fasting with the help of prayer taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14, that it will build awareness of the need to pray for your local church. Though we are on different time lines I encourage you to just follow the dates for your respective countries. Date: 16th,17th & 18th of August 2019 Fasting Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Fasting Type: Fasting from food but drinking water or fluids for those that can. You are welcome to break the fast each evening and start again either after meal (6am-6pm) or you can go straight through. Are you ready to break out and breakthrough to what God has planned for you? Are you ready for the imminent break out that is coming child of God? Here’s how I know God is ready to take you to break out, for when I was reading Isaiah 54 recently I stumbled across this verse: “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.” (Isaiah 54:2-3) Its time to break loose and meet the impossible of what God wants to do in your life precious saint, I believe God wants to pour out His Spirit on all flesh within this hour like never before. Transition is one of the hardest acts to engage in. Our minds are made in a way that once we are in our comfort zones, our usual aspiration is to stay put. This 3 day fast however begins with the hope of god breaking out with an expectation that God is on the move and about to break out in Revival. Revival is an outpouring of the gift of the Holy Spirit to everyone, the power of the Holy Spirit moves and causes something extraordinary to happen. A change that causes a burning sensation crops up during revival,—the fire of the Holy Ghost, so to speak! It begins with an individual, to a multitude of people awakening to a particular dormant state of affairs, as per the intention of the Holy Spirit. While God is willing and ready to do the impossible, the church is urged to prepare for the oncoming revival, He wants us to obey His commandments, to enlarge the tent of our hearts to Him and instruct our minds to believe that God is a God who foretells the beginning and the end; Isaiah 42:9, “See, the former predictions have come, and new ones I am declaring; before they spring forth I let you hear them!” God’s prophecy gives the church a reason to be confident in the impending revival, otherwise He would not have asked of us to “Enlarge the place our tents…” Mark 16:15 shows that God has made reservations throughout the world for His sons to decree the good News. Lean therefore on the promises He has made and begin to enlarge your tents through faith, look up to Him with great expectations and wait! Wait for Him to send multiplications during and after this fast. This is the trust we owe Him, that as a husband, He will provide without fail! Yes, the Lord is more faithful to provide us what He has promised. Fasting Teaching - https://youtu.be/DFWacd-8ShY PRACTICAL TIPS FOR FASTING: 1. Avoid medical and even natural herbal drugs. However, if you are under medication, these should only be withdrawn upon the advice of your doctor. 2. Limit your physical activity and exercise. If you have a workout routine, adjust it accordingly. 3. Rest as much as you can if needed be. 4. Maintain an attitude of prayer throughout the day. Intercede for your family, pastors, church, nation, missionaries & world missions, etc. 5. Drink plenty of clean water if you are joining the water fast. 6. As your body adjusts, be prepared for temporary bouts of physical weakness as well as a greater likelihood of impatience, irritability, and anxiety. FASTING BRINGS REVIVAL “. . . in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:2,3 Fasting helps us prevail in prayer and intercession. Daniel understood that Israel was headed for destruction. He also knew that in times like these, there is only one recourse—intercession through praying and fasting. Throughout human history, God has brought revival and delivered nations from destruction in response to prayer and fasting. FASTING IS AN ACT OF HUMILITY AND CONSECRATION. “. . . I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting . . .” Psalm 35:13 Humility results in the grace of God (James 4:6). When we humble ourselves in prayer, we have instant access to the heart of God. As we deny ourselves as an act of consecration, we are better able to exercise self-control over our emotions and desires. SPIRITUAL CLEANSING & SPIRITUAL EYES OPENED Fasting can be done for one meal, one day, one month or for however long God leads. It depends on how the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Shorter fasts are easier to endure until we have built up our “spiritual muscles”. A three day fast is most beneficial as a spiritual cleansing. An example of this is Paul’s being thrust into his fast upon conversion. After the three days of cleansing, he received the Holy Spirit and his eyesight when Ananias laid hands on him (Acts 9:17-18). We also can be spiritually cleansed by fasting so that we receive more of the Lord’s Spirit and have our spiritual eyes opened to new dimensions. A three day fast is also especially helpful in breaking any addictive habits. These then are two reasons for fasting: We receive spiritual cleansing and our spiritual eyes are opened, and we also obtain victory over the devil. When Jesus encountered Satan, He was able to overcome Him because His fasting had given Him spiritual strength. Isaiah 58:6 also gives us light on this purpose of fasting: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Many people believe that fasting is to move the hand of God, when in actuality it is to make Satan turn loose of the things he is holding. BREAKING STRONGHOLDS & BUILDING FAITH Fasting looses the bands of wickedness. When Jesus discussed the keys to the kingdom, He told us to bind and loose. When we fast, we loose the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, set the oppressed free, and break every yoke of the enemy. Fasting is an important key to getting the victory over hard situations that do not seem to respond to normal prayer. Fasting builds our faith. In fact, this is what Jesus meant when he spoke to the disciples in Matthew 17:21 in answer to why they were not able to cast a demon out of a child. He said, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” He was telling them if they wanted their faith to be at such a level as to be able to cast out demons, then they must fast and pray for their faith to increase. Fasting also makes it easier for us to hear the voice of the Lord. We find an account of this in Acts 13:2 “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” While fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke to them and gave them direction. We too can be directed by the Lord if we seek Him through prayer and fasting. When we deny our natural cravings, our spiritual antennas become more attuned. We become more sensitive to His voice as we divest ourselves of worldly distractions. We are better able to focus on God and submit to His will. This opens the door for more of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Fasting and mourning are closely associated in the Bible. Two examples of this are found in Ezra and Nehemiah. Ezra 10:6: “Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.” Nehemiah 1:4: “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.” From these Scriptures, we see that fasting and travail (a prayer burden from the Lord that brings crying and tears) were combined. Both of these men were fasting for the repentance of God’s people. How we need this same kind of intercession today. Here were men so burdened for the sins of their people that they fasted, travailed and prayed. Day 1 – YOU MUST BE IN IT TO WIN IT Friday, August 16, 2019 Scripture Reading For Today: Hebrews 4:1-2; 1Corinthians 9:24-26

Hebrews 4:1-2 (NKJV) Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, [a]not being mixed with faith in those who heard it 1 Corinthians 9:24-26 (NKJV) “24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may [a]obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize [b]is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.” Welcome to Day 1 of this Augusts 3 day fasting and prayers. If you've made it onto this fast by divine appointment you are most welcome, I congratulate all those that have joined this fast and those in previous months for your persistence and perseverance will pay off until the break out comes. I pray that you reap the fruit of your labour in Jesus' Name. The word of the Lord that I keep hearing in my spirit today for this season we are about to enter into, is "preparation". Prepare for the outpouring of the Spirit that is about to hit your homes. In a way, that's generally part of what we've been doing over the past 4 week in the recent 21 days prayer for revival in the home. For we are preparing ourselves for what God has got planned for us in the remaining of half of 2019! But particularly, it has more to do with the specific things that God would have us do, to position ourselves for what God is about to do not just individually but as a body to see out breakthroughs and the impending revival for the church. God will always prepare you before He presents you at the place, or on the day of your promotion. Preparation is the process that you have to endure before the moment of your presentation comes. And that is the key word right there — "moment". Sometimes the breakthrough, deliverance or the opportunity that we have been praying and hoping for, is presented in a moment; it may not necessarily be an event or an occasion; just a fleeting moment that you may miss if you have not prepared well for it. David had but a moment to sling the shot at Goliath, but that moment had been honed in over several days maybe even weeks and months of practising with the catapult. Will you be ready and prepared for when your opportunity comes? Will you even recognise it as an opportunity when it does? Friend, God is ready and willing to do more than you can ever ask or imagine, but He's waiting for you to prepare yourself for your presentation! Are you really prepared for the breakthrough and blessing that you are praying for? Maybe that situation that you have been going through is part of the training? Could the pain and difficulties of that issue be part of your training as well? The questions you also need to answer today are: • What are you really preparing for? • How are you preparing? • How should you be preparing? Again, the answer to these three questions boil down to a key theme we have been meditating on — strategy. If you don't know what God has got planned for you, you will not know what you are preparing for. And if you don't know what you are preparing for, how then would you know how to prepare for it? Many times, God will prepare us for our destiny in ways that are totally at variance with where we think we are going or what He has said He will do in our lives. He prepared Jesus for a three and a half year ministry in a carpenter's workshop. David was prepared for kingship by learning to lead a few sheep in the backside of the wilderness, while Moses was trained to lead a nation through the wilderness by being trained as a prince in the courts of a king! Joseph was trained in adversity, through betrayals and disappointments in places that were far removed from where he would eventually end up; and Apostle Paul, well, listen to what he had to say about his own "training" — "So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing" 1Cor 9:26 (NLT) Can you say the same thing about your life? Prayer Focus: Order my steps according to Your word. Let me run with purpose in every step that I take for the remaining of August and this year. Pray for patience to remain in the place of your appointment while God Works to prepare and perfect you. Pray that God will give you Another spirit like He did Joshua and Caleb, that you will begin to see with the eyes of faith and with a heart emboldened with courage and empowered by the Holy Spirit! Pray that God will give you a faith-perspective on the challenges that you are facing, and align you with people that will see from God’s perspective. Pray that God would continue to prepare you for the revival that He wants to bring to the church within this hour, and whatever He is doing ask the Lord to allow you play a part in His plan. Pray that the remaining of 2019 will be for you a mountain conquering year, that in this year, God will cause you to walk upon your high places - in the places of honour, promotion and elevation in the Mighty Name Of Jesus. Pray for Narrow Path Ministries (Rev Robert & Aida Clancy) and your church that God will supply exceeding, abundantly above all we could ask or think. Pray that every financial need will be met and that we will have more than enough to carry out the vision for this year and beyond. Pray this prayer: Father, we are confident of this very thing; that He who has begun a good work in us; and in the Narrow Path Ministries that you would provide a building and new home for the ministry to have a training, healing and revival retreat centre it in Jesus name (Philippians 1:6). Give thanks to God for this and for answered prayers in your personal life also that He would provide for you according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Remember as you pray for others, God takes care of your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Pray & Declare out loud: “By God’s grace as we have meet August, that the remaining of 2019 will continue to be a year of prosperity for me.” Amen. Day 2: “Above and Beyond” Saturday, August 17th, 2019 Scripture Reading For Today: Isa 54:1-5 Isaiah 54:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV) “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited. 4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. 5 For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.” The Instruction — "Enlarge the place of your tent...“ Isa 54:2 The Promise - Your Break out is imminent! Q. What does this promise really mean - for you? Answering this question positions you to properly respond to the word and activate your promise due in this season. Yesterday, God was speaking to us about preparation and Process in relation to fulfilling our destiny. In today’s bible text, we can see this same principle at play in Zion’s case. Preparation is often a two-part process — What the word does to you, and then what you do with the word. We can see these two interplay in Joseph’s life. In Psalm 105:19, the bible says: “Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him”. (NKJV) Reading the same verse from the New Living Translation, we get a deeper understanding of the text: “Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the LORD tested Joseph's character.” The time of preparation is the time of character testing and character building. Tested by the word — Tested by time, tested in waiting, contrary situations, challenges, emptiness, even sometimes, demotion. As it was also in the case of Zion in our main text — The word will stretch you! Stretching as uncomfortable and painful as it will be, is often a critical and necessary part of our preparation for promotion, growth and enlargement. Stretching always comes before enlargement; it is the preparation for the change that is about to happen. God was saying to Zion "Prepare for change....Put some things into place for what I am about to do in your life !" Stretching will come in different ways: • Instructions to obey • Work to be done • Challenges to bear or overcome • Step of faith to be taken Stretching will move you beyond what you are comfortable with; it will take you farther than your “safe zone” and challenge the limits of what you think you are capable of doing— Stretching will bring you almost to your breaking point and take you beyond your limits; but then, God Steps in! Stretching is God's mechanism for exposing and removing the weak points, separating the dross from gold so that your ending is much better than your beginning. "Enlarge the place of your tent“means to have God’s vision. Think about this — A barren woman has no need for a bigger tent. But God says, “Enlarge the place of your tent. He is telling his sorrowful people to have God’s vision beyond the limitations of their current experience or “reality”! Having a vision and a hope...making more room for God to be God. For some it may mean pulling down the old structures and letting go of the convenient and familiar and breaking new grounds. Friend, you may be going through your stretching or preparation season right now, but please be encouraged; your enlargement, your breakthrough, your breakout is an imminent product of your stretching. Rejoice, your change is about to happen! The stretching is not to break you, it is designed to make you. Shalom, Prayer Focus: Show me what displeases you about me (my blind spots) Show me how I can please you more What will you have me do - How would you have me serve What would you have me change? Ask God for the grace to endure the stretching and to pass the test for your promotion. Begin by asking the question — Lord, what will you have me do? As we prepare and meditate on our list in response to the above questions, our prayer Focus today will be to pray to God for: • Skilful, godly Wisdom • Understanding • Strategies for the coming year and the present season of your life to prosper and walk in victory. DAY 3 — Rivers Of God Sunday, August 17th, 2019 Scripture Reading For Today: Ezekiel 47:1-12; Psalm 20 Ezekiel 47:1-12 (NKJV) “Then he brought me back to the door of the [a]temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. 2 He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side. 3 And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. 4 Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. 5 Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. 6 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river. 7 When I returned, there, along the bank of the river, were very many trees on one side and the other. 8 Then he said to me: “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the [b]valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. 9 And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever [c]the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. 10 It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many. 11 But its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be given over to salt. 12 Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”[d] Whilst meditating on our main scripture text for today (Ezekiel 47:1-12), one cannot fail to see the exactness and precision with which God laid out the vision of His plans and purpose for a coming time. Verse 12 of that text, really jumped out at me, as I believe it expresses what God has in mind for us in the coming year — "But the river itself, on both banks, will grow fruit trees of all kinds. Their leaves won't wither, the fruit won't fail. Every month they'll bear fresh fruit because the river from the Sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing." Eze 47:12 The remaining of 2019 will be a year of continuous fruitfulness; from August to December, you will bear fresh fruit and enjoy an abundant harvest, because of God’s life-Giving presence in your life! The vision prophesies and paints a picture of a coming revival, where what was once a god-forsaken, wasteland, a dead barren emptiness, suddenly begins to bud and flourish again, as a result of the River Of God flowing into it from the Sanctuary of God’s presence! The waters that issue from the sanctuary represent the life-giving power that proceeds from the throne of God, flowing through His temple, and healing the Dead Sea, the abiding token of judgment. The waters abound in fish, the trees that grow beside them are filled with fruit. As we get into the final day of 3 days fasting in waiting upon the Lord, we will be spending today looking forward the great things god will do in the remaining month of 2019 and the new year of 2020 and beyond, we will start prophesying and declaring all that God has been speaking to us over the start of the year, and also praying over the desires that we have concerning the last half of the year moving into 2020. Prayer Focus: We will take each remaining month of 2019 (from August till December) and speak over, and into each month in prayer. To do this, divide your prayer time into 3 sessions and pray the prayer points below into each of the remaining months: 1. For the ministry you are involved with locally and (Narrow Path Ministries Perth Australia) 2. For your family / household 3. For yourself Bring each month under the dominion of God’s Kingdom and Authority. Bring each month and the new year of 2020 under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Pray God’s favour and goodness into each month and into 2020. Pray for the grace to hunger and desire to abide in God’s presence more than you ever had. Pray for the life-giving power of God to flow into your life and into each remaining month of 2019 and the new year 2020 to bring healing, restoration of life and blessings into your life. Call forth and Pray for the release of the provisions, resources and helpers that are needed in each month, in order for God’s counsel/purpose for the remaining year 2019/2020/ your season / your destiny to be fulfilled. Thank God in advance and in faith, for answering your prayers, and for the miracles / blessings / breakthroughs / testimonies / victories that the remaining of 2019 and beyond in 2020 will bring into your life. Look back over the past 3 days and thank the Lord for every transition and shift (no matter how small) you have made (spiritually, emotionally and physically) during this period of fasting and praying. Declare that on Day 3, your transformation and breakthrough will be complete according to God’s will and riches. • Decree that you will have a relentless pursuit to walk in the fullness of what Christ has promised you. • Decree that there is no going back to the old season. Speak completeness of turnaround in your healing, health and wealth in your spirit, emotions and physically. • Thank the Lord for every person who fasted and prayed during this period – that they too will experience the fullness of transformation and transition in spirit and circumstances. • Pray for an alertness and an awakening from spiritual slumber, and a grafting in of the saints into the Body. • Declare readiness over God’s people for radical change! • Decree that lives are being characterised by an increasing hunger for a new move of God. • Pray for a new and great manifestation of God’s miracle power in your life, Narrow Path Ministries, Your church, and Your nation. Seek the Lord for miracles, signs, and wonders that will amaze the people and bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. • Pray that God’s healing power would come into your life in all of its fullness. Ask that He would heal you from sickness and disease, and from every hurt, brokenness, and defeat. (3 John vs. 2; Isaiah 53:5) • There are hidden strongholds that are blocking your progress in life. Pray against those strongholds. Ask God to reveal them to you so that they can be broken (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Name the specific stronghold in your life and family and command it to be broken in Jesus’ name. • Thank the Lord that He is changing you. Thank Him for His love that does not want to leave you the way you are. Pray that His plans and His will come to pass in your life as you submit to Him. • Pray for all the singles partaking in the fast who are seeking life partners. Ask God to guide them to the person who will really be a blessed spouse to that person. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and strength to overcome fleshly desires. Finish by personalising and praying Psalm 20:1-9 over your life. Shalom,
