10 DAYS OF FASTING & PRAYING TUESDAY 7TH of SEPTEMBER – THURSDAY 16TH of SEPTEMBER 2021

THEME: “TEN DAYS OF REPENTANCE (DAYS OF AWE)”

DATE: TUESDAY 7TH of SEPTEMBER – THURSDAY 16TH of SEPTEMBER 2021 (6am -6pm)

SCRIPTURE: Acts 3:19-20 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,”

The body of Christ need a major wakeup call at this present time, precious saints! I want everyone to understand the times that we are living in. We are living in the last of, "The Last Days." We are at the doorstep of the "End of The Age." Jesus commanded us to keep watch in (Matthew 24:42-44), less the Son of Man comes as a thief in the night.

I am finding that more and more Christians are spiritually asleep. They are not aware of the signs of the times, even though they are right before them. They are not keeping an eye on the "fig tree" (Israel). People are too wrapped up in trying to get life back to normal since the recent pandemic, that they have become blinded. Many want to just return to normal or the way they did church before. They want to hear prosperity messages about a prosperous next seven years ahead, they want to be popular, thinking about just finding a spouse, having their retirement set, or travelling overseas again, but they are not seeing what is happening right before their eyes. Even many are being caught up in either previous elections or upcoming elections, rather than focusing on what is really is important within this hour of preparing for the rapture.

I receive many emails from saints that tell me their Pastors are leading most of their congregation to get the jab, with even some churches volunteering their buildings to facilitate or even church members to even assist administering the jab. Truly there shall be blood on many Pastor’s hands unless they repent. This is the beast system that will make way for the mark of the beast to come after the rapture, which is during the tribulation precious saints. Many do not want to offend anybody today and instead of bearing witness to the truth, they are in some cases blinded and helping in spreading the enemy’s lies to say it is a good thing to get. It is only the "TRUTH" that will set us free precious saints and I tell you run from it.

The truth is, our money is NOT going to save us, our religious routines are NOT going to save us. The government is NOT going to save us, your president/prime minister cannot save you (or anyone else for that matter), your pastor is NOT going to save you, your mama and daddy is NOT going to save you! Only Jesus Christ (Yeshua), knowing Him, and enduring until the end is going to save you precious saints!

Salvation is not about race, denominations, theories, religious doctrines, or how long you've been saved. All Jesus cares about is: Does He know you (not, do you know Him -Matthew 7:21-23), and are you bearing His fruit. He said the tree that bears no fruit will be axed down and thrown into the fire precious saints (Matthew 7:19).

Many of you already know that I have shared my daughters dream of the rapture when she was just 7 years of age and that in that dream, she saw that she was 16 years of age at the wedding feast of the Lamb. It is interesting that we normally say sweet 16 when someone turns 16 years of age, as we did to her this year (2021) when she just turned 16 this July.

As you will see after reading this fasting program 2021-2028 (7 Years duration) comes up a lot during the study of Endtime prophecy. I believe the Lord is warning us in many ways to be alert of how close we are to the rapture. Imagine if this was the very last fasting program, I ever typed up again? No one knows the day or hour, but He will come like a thief precious saint. So, ask yourself this question precious saints; Do I have enough oil in my lamp? Am I producing the fruit of the Spirit? Is Christ TRULY first in my life?

Precious saints: The Rapture is real! The Antichrist is alive! War is coming! Time is running out! It is time to rearrange our life’s, while there is yet still time. Jesus WILL soon return. Are you ready?

Now Peter in one of the most powerful sermons given in the Bible commanded the people to “repent” (Greek for “metanoeō” to change one’s mind) and turn back (“turn back is the Greek word “epistrephō” meaning “to turn to” God). Only if they had a change of mind could they turn back to God, which would then allow their sins to be blotted out. If there is no change of mind and if there is no turning to God, there cannot be the forgiveness of sins. If you believe the church needs revival then it must start with us first, because only then can revival possibly spread to those around you in and in the church, then outward to the community and hopefully, reaching out to the lost if perhaps God grants them repentance because without repentance, there can be no revival and without revival, there can be no awakening of the large harvest of souls. The problem we have in the church today is that the word “Repent,” has become an offensive word, so everything is about the love of God. “God loves you” has become the cliché word with no need for deep sorrowful repentance. See God corrects those that He loves and if we want to see true revival it can not come without repentance. We need such a revival that gives lost souls the chance for their sins to be forgiven and give eternal life for those who are presently separated from God by their sins (Isaiah 59:1-2). That is what revival is all about precious saints. The truth is, it always starts with us and what we do with it. The Lord has been speaking to me specifically for all nations to prepare for the rapture of the remnant bride of Christ. So many confirmations have come through dreams, visions, and prophecy. I personally believe the church has been in a time of shaking and the Lord has been trying to get our attention to prepare for His imminent snatching away of His bride.

This September should be a time of coming back to God, as an individual, as a church and as nations across the world. Now just so we understand the significance of the dream and the Jewish feasts connection, I thought it is important for us to understand the Jewish Feasts a little better before we get into the program. So, the first of the Fall (Autumn) Feasts on the Hebrew calendar is the Feast of Trumpets. The Hebrew people commonly refer to this feast as Rosh Hashanah, which literally means “head of the year.” It is the Jewish New Year’s Day and is celebrated on the first two days of their month Tishri.

During the Feast of Trumpets, God instructed, “you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with the blast of trumpets, a holy convocation.” (Leviticus 23:24). Rosh Hashanah is also the first of a ten-day period during which God’s people enter into self-examination and repentance, known as the 10 Days of Awe, which conclude on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It is a time to also forgive people of their debts and anyone that may have offended us. For many Jewish people around the world, it is a time for serious self-examination, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur which is the Day of Atonement.

During these Ten Days of Repentance, we will provide you with daily teachings and instructions to follow for each of the days. These devotional thoughts will hopefully be a blessing to you and help you draw closer to the Lord as we, the called-out ones are preparing in holiness for the snatching away of His bride.

During the 10 days, we will believe God for personal revival, miracles, and breakthrough in our spiritual lives. Whether this is your first time fasting or you have done these many times, the result is always a closer connection with God and a stronger church family. As you enter this fast, release decrees and declarations that you will see the burdens of the beginning of this year fall from you and have a renewed vision and hope for the later part of 2021, as we prepare for the imminent rapture of the bride. So, no matter what the future holds, Jesus is alive saints, and He is still healing today, He is still delivering and is still sitting on the throne!

What am I required to fast from?

We want to leave this decision up to you. We do not have any mandatory church-wide requirements for how you fast, but here are a few ideas:

Food Fast

When we choose not to eat or not to eat certain foods, we allow our physical bodies to hunger and to bring our desires into alignment with our spiritual need for God. There is a clarity in hearing from the Lord which comes when we fast and pray; making a small sacrifice to give up a “pleasure” or comfort to increase your spiritual sight and vision.

We are providing the following options for you to consider:

1. Food Fast

You fast from all foods from either 10pm-6pm (20 hours) or 6am-6pm (12 hours) each day with fluids allowed.

2. Partial Fast

You choose to eliminate certain things i.e. fizzy drinks; sweets/chocolates, bread, no red meat etc, but the rest of your diet remains mainly the same

3. Fruit and Veg

Eat fruit during the day, with liquids (tea/limited coffee, herbal drinks and water) with a veg meal in the evenings

4. Liquids only during day and veg meal for dinner

Drink water and herbal drinks during the day with a veg meal in the evenings.

Please consult your doctor if there are any medical concerns before you commence the fast.

Media Fast

During this time, we encourage you to turn off the TV, computer, video games, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, the Internet, and any other form of social media for a brief period of time. You may decide to fast from Facebook or some other form of media altogether or to limit your time to only 1-2 hours per week. When we do this, we create more time when we can read our Bible, pray, worship, and hear from God.

Search your heart in deciding what type of food fast you want to do. If you have never fasted, maybe start off with a partial fast and progress to a fruit and veg option for the last 3 days. Remember, the most important consideration in fasting is your motive. Why are you fasting?

What will we be praying about?

Check each day for the next 10 days there will theme topics, scriptures and prayers so you may follow corporately all together. We are trusting the Lord that this time of fasting and prayer will release a passion for His name within us – to cut off what belongs to a past seasons, to receive renewed hope and vision for our lives/ministries, to be conduits for signs, wonders and miracles and to fulfill the mandate of sharing the gospel to the ends of the earth! During this time of fasting, be intentional about your priorities. Set aside ample time to be alone with the Lord. The more time you spend with God, the more meaningful your fast will be. If you need an overview or suggestions on what you can do to make the most of the fast in terms of having a daily routine, use the below points:

Morning

Begin your day in praise and worship

Read the days program and meditate on God’s Word

Invite Holy Spirit to work in you

Noon

Take a short prayer walk

Spend time in intercessory prayer for the theme of the day

Evening

Make time for an unhurried time of “seeking God’s face”

If others are fasting with you, meet together for prayer

Avoid television or any other distraction that may affect your spiritual focus and watch the daily uploads to YouTube. You are welcome to watch Christian movies etc.

When possible, begin and end each day with your spouse, family or friend for a brief time of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord.

Please let us know you’ll be fasting & praying with us!

RACTICAL TIPS FOR FASTING:

1. Avoid medical and even natural herbal drugs. However, if you are under medication, these should only be withdrawn upon the advice of your doctor. You may choose to just skip one meal a day to still be able to take all medications.

2. Limit your physical activity and exercise. If you have a workout routine, adjust it accordingly.

3. Rest as much as you can if needed be.

4. Maintain an attitude of prayer throughout the day. Intercede for your family, pastors, church, nation, missionaries & world missions, etc.

5. Drink plenty of clean water if you are joining the water fast.

6. As your body adjusts, be prepared for temporary bouts of physical weakness as well as a greater likelihood of impatience, irritability, and anxiety.

DAY 1 THEME: "THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS”

DATE: TUESDAY 7TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Leviticus 23:24 “you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with the blast of trumpets, a holy convocation.”

Last night at sunset began Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) which is the New Year celebration of Jewish people all over the earth. It is the Feast of Trumpets and starts 10 Days of Repentance and ends with Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement). Though these two Holidays are for the Jewish Peoples, we have chosen what Israelites call “The High and Holy Holidays” for our “10 Days of Prayer & Fasting” because of their prophetic nature. That is, in His first coming Christ fulfilled the first four Jewish Feasts (for instance The Passover when He died on the Cross for our sins and Pentecost when the Holy Spirit kicked off the Church Age ten days after Jesus Ascension into Heaven), but by His Second Coming He will fulfill the last three Jewish Feasts. Therefore, these “10 Days of Prayer & Fasting” are perfect timing for praying for the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour!

Why is it important for a Christian believer to understand what is hidden in the old testament? The New Covenant message is the ultimate message that gets people saved and into heaven. But what do you do after when people have been saved? See there is a deep of study that can only come from the depth and study of the entire word of God. See the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed. The New Testament is the old Testament revealed.

The Apostle Paul suggests the importance of understanding and even experiencing the Jewish festivals in his letter to Timothy. He writes,

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

I have found the above verses to be very helpful and practical in understanding the role of the festivals in the lives of believers in Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah.

In using the term Scripture, Paul is referring to the entirety of the Old Testament. Certainly, we can infer that this is also true of the New Testament, but specifically, Paul has the Hebrew Scriptures in mind. Remember he was a radical orthodox pharisee that was very well trained in the Torah (Old Testament), but He was radically converted. See every part of the Bible is useful to us in the process of growing to spiritual maturity and this would include the Jewish holidays, as they all see Christ Jesus ultimately one day fulfilling all by His second coming.

Paul is not suggesting that we must keep these festivals in a particular way nor is he suggesting that we are under obligation to keep them! Rather, he tells us that every verse in every one of the thirty-nine books of the Old Testament is helpful and may be utilized for spiritual benefit. This would be true of the festivals outlined in Leviticus 23 and would include the three fall events: the New Year, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles. Therefore, learning more about these “feasts” is helpful for your spiritual journey. For me, the emphases of the first two holidays on repentance and forgiveness creates a magnificent backdrop for understanding the work of Jesus the Messiah, who died that we might live. This time of fasting and prayer allows us to prioritise our relationship with the Lord at the start of the Hebrew calendar new year; releasing all that held us back, hurt or hindered us in 2021; freeing us up to enter this new Hebrew year hungry for the supernatural to increase in our lives and prepare for the rapture of the church.

His Word also declares “Be in awe and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted throughout the earth.” (Psalm 46:10) Whereas God is usually seeking us, during the 10 Days of Awe the Jewish believer will seek Him. It is as if the Father is saying to His children, “If you want to know Me, seek Me!” Therefore, I have decided it is a time for us to seek more of the Holy Spirit during this time, who in the one in charge of the sanctification process to prepare us for His coming. So, let’s go a little deeper the Hebrew term Yamim Noraim or the עשרת ימי תשובה, (10 Days of Awe) refers not only to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, but the seven days in between. In 2021, Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on Monday, Sept. 6 and ends at sundown on Sunday, Sept. 8.

This year Days of Awe 2021/5782, on our calendar, these feasts are:

Sep 6 – Sep 8 – Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets)

Sep 8 – Sep 15 – 7 Days of Awe between

Sep 15 - Sep 16 – Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement)

Rosh Hashanah is a time of inner renewal and divine atonement and is one of the High Holiday periods. The Days of Awe represent the climax of a longer process. Starting at the beginning of the previous month, called Elul, the shofar is traditionally sounded at the conclusion of the morning service. A ram’s horn that makes a trumpet-like sound, the shofar is intended as a wake-up call to prepare for the Tishrei holidays. One week before Rosh Hashanah, special petitionary prayers called Selichot are added to the ritual. Rosh Hashanah itself is also known as Yom Hadin or the Day of Judgment, on which God opens the Books of Life and Death, which are then sealed on Yom Kippur.

Shofar — Pronounced shoh-FAR or SHOH-far (rhymes with “so far”). The ram’s horn that is sounded during the month of Elul, on Rosh Hashanah, and at the end of Yom Kippur. It is mentioned numerous times in the Bible, in reference to its ceremonial use in the Temple and to its function as a signal-horn of war. On the Feast of Trumpets, it says In Leviticus 23:24 God commands his people to gather and to commemorate the decree with trumpet blasts. On the same front, the sound of a trumpet is also associated with the rapture, or the time Jesus will return for his bride (1 Corinthians 15:52). Yes, it is known as the last trumpet that will gather the wise bride in the clouds and once, He returns for His bride, there will be a wedding feast of celebration. Revelation 19:9 says, “Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb”. He is preparing us to celebrate! Imagine this is a feast day that is yet to be fulfilled and could happen at anytime!

The Days of Awe are filled with wonder and worship, days of reflection, fasting, and prayer, days of solemnity and solace. These are days meant to set the tone for the beginning of the Jewish New Year even as they remind the faithful to reflect on what has gone before. So, during this time according to Jewish custom, God, in a sense, withdraws His presence, to create a hunger in the hearts of His people so that they will abandon all else in pursuit of Him. In this season, we are commanded to celebrate the freedom, victory, healing, blessing, peace, and dominion that Christ our Redeemer provisioned for us by the atoning work of His cross – and a reminder of His soon-coming return.

The main thrust of our prayers will be in three areas today. First, that there will be UNITY in the Body of Christ. Our Lord prayed that we would be one as He and the Father are One (John 16:21).

Second, that believers would gain greater maturity in Christ. The church is meant by God to equip us for good works in Jesus so that we might all come to unity through growing more and more into Christlikeness (Ephesians 4:11-16).

Third, that the church might be getting ready for the rapture of the church, which then starts off the seven years of tribulation until the Second Coming of our LORD. Worship is a wonderful way to do this, and evangelizing. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “The gospel must be preached to every nation and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).

So, our prayer targets each day will be 1.) For Ourselves to grow in Christ and in unity toward one another. 2.) For our city’s and families, because there are many lost around us that need to hear the gospel and be saved and our like-minded churches need to continue to work together to help all believers be “salt & light” here for Christ. 3.) For our Nations as the Pentecostal, Charismatic, Evangelical Churches etc desperately needs revival. 4.) For our world which needs to have greater peace. But only through Christ will that peace come, for He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6-7). We need to pray that the Great Commission will be fulfilled in our lifetime (Matthew 28:18-20).

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 1:

Prayer for Ourselves: (1 John 5:13) “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”

Prayer for your city: Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Pray for unity of the Spirit between family members, churches, and the desire to work together, so that the lost will be saved, and Christians would be “salt & light” here.

Prayer for our Nations: 2 Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” Pray that believers all over your nation would join in repentance and truly seek the face of God. Pray that the church would be revived and, as Christians starting to get it right with each other, that the world would know we are Christians by our love for one another.

Prayer for our World: Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Pray that the gospel will be spread throughout the nations of the world within these last hours and that “The Prince of Peace” would rule in the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls!

DAY 2 THEME: “CHRISTS RETURN REVEALED”

DATE: WEDNESDAY 8TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Matthew 24:40-44 “Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Can anyone be sure when Jesus is coming again? When Sir Isaac Newton was asked if he thought Christ would return in his lifetime, he said he didn't believe it because all the prophecies had not been fulfilled. Someone asked Charles Spurgeon if he believed Christ would return in his lifetime, and he said no. He believed there were still prophecies which had to be fulfilled. Since then, these prophecies have been fulfilled. Because of this, when someone came to me with this question, I told them Christ certainly could return any day in our lifetime and not only could, but He would. The Spirit of the Lord showed me that just like Simeon (Luke 2:25-27) this generation shall not see death until the messiah returns. All I know is that is He is coming – soon and we must be ready for that day.

“Every day we’re a week closer to the Rapture.” This is something my wife loves to say because it helps us keep eternity in perspective. With all the events going on in our world today precious saints, we would also do well to keep eternity in perspective.

Here are just some ten reasons why I know this is true:

1. Travel - Modern transportation allows us to travel thousands of miles in a very short time. The Book of Daniel predicted this (Daniel 12:4).

2. Knowledge - The Book of Daniel also predicts the increase of knowledge we are seeing today with the Internet and technology such as artificial intelligence, nanotechnology and neuralink technology etc.

3. The invention of the atomic bomb and many much more modern lethal weapons today - In Zechariah 14:12, God prophesied He would bring a plague upon Israel's enemies which exactly matches the effects of radiation from the atomic bomb or much more advanced technology. Now we see how this is possible from not the only past, but much more with advanced technology.

4. The Jews' return to the land of Israel - In Jeremiah 4:5, God said Israel would be gathered as a nation. This happened in 1948.

5. God's support of Israel (Romans 11:1) - The Bible says God has not forsaken Israel. He has preserved this nation until now, and He will continue to do this until Jesus returns (Zechariah 12:8-10).

6. The cashless society (Revelation 13:16–18) – With what we are seeing with the jab being mandated around the world and word of a new electronic currency it is becoming more a reality. Not to mention hackers stealing credit card information from major retailers, the idea of having people take a mark to do all buying and selling doesn’t sound so farfetched.

7. Earthquakes, floods, volcano eruptions, cyclones, typhoons etc.., Jesus described frequent earthquakes and calamities as a part of the “beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:7–8) Check the news, and you’ll see earthquakes alone have been occurring more often. Even as we are praying for Haiti that has had a recent 7.2 magnitude earthquake.

8. TV– Events in Jerusalem during the Tribulation will be seen by the entire world (Revelation 11:9). Television and Internet social media have made this possible today.

9. One-world government – The nations of the world will come together to form a single government according to Revelation 12:3. The United Nations and the European Union are steps which have been taken in this direction. We see the elite are pushing this and have been controlling things like a puppet for some time to bring this to pass. The have an agenda for each nation and know each nations weakness and will manipulate whatever and whoever to see things of this nature come to pass.

10. One-world religion – The Bible predicts all the religions of the world will combine into one religion during the Tribulation (Revelation 13:12). The new ecumenical movement is fulfilling this prophecy by uniting Protestants, Jews, Catholics, Muslims, and people of other faiths together. It may seem quite since Covid-19, but it is there and will only get stronger after.

This is an exciting time to be a Christian. We might not know the day or the hour of Christ's return, but we do know it's going to be soon. As Jesus told His disciples, we need to be watching for His return. We ought to make the most of every opportunity to tell others how they can be saved. And we should be living pure and holy lives so we're not ashamed when Jesus comes.

The Bible is literally being fulfilled before our eyes. That makes me more excited than ever about seeing my Savior. If we keep eternity in perspective, then we won’t worry as much about things we lack here on Earth. We will see the spiritual significance of life’s heartbreaks, brokenness, losses, and trials (although we may not realize this until after we have endured them). We will resist temptation because we want Christ to find us pure and blameless at His return. An eternal perspective will help us choose what is best over what may seem to be good. Are you ready to meet Jesus? He’s coming sooner than you might think precious saints.

There are two major events that all Christians are waiting for. The first being the rapture of the bride, which is the remnant body of Christ that have made their garments ready for The Wedding Feast of The Lamb are snatched away into the clouds. Then the second being the second coming of Christ in the clouds. See the saints need to be first snatched up to then come back down with the Lord at the second coming (Rev 19:14). We see from the two scriptures below that it clearly distinguishes the two separate events. The first only the saints will see with those Christians being left behind shamefully and the second coming, in which every eye shall see.

1. Rapture:

Revelation 16:15 “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”

2. Second Coming:

Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”

The foundation of our preparation for the return of the master is repentance. Without repentance there cannot be any salvation and without salvation there cannot be rapture.

There are four things that make repentance to be completed. These are the following below:

1. Being remorseful of your sins

2. Confession of your sins

3. Asking God for forgiveness of those sins you confessed

4. Forsaking those sins.

DAY 3 THEME: “WHAT IS PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE OF HIS BRIDE”

DATE: THURSDAY 9TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I tell you a [a]mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

The rapture is the sudden, supernatural removal of all children of God that have made themselves ready to be snatched from earth to heaven. At the rapture, Jesus Christ will appear in the eastern sky and call His wise bride up to Heaven, leaving all the foolish Christians, those that are still in sin and unbelievers behind. It will happen in two stages the first being all the dead in Christ (saints) pre-rapture will rise from their graves in their glorified bodies and the second stage will be that all the true believers that are alive will then go up to be with Him on the clouds. (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Though Jesus will not set foot on the Earth at the rapture. He will just appear in the Eastern sky and call all His wise bride home to Heaven that have pure white garments. The rapture is a wonderful thing for Christians. The rapture will be yet another very gracious act of God's love toward His children. God loves His children so much that He will remove us from this wicked world to a safe place in Heaven before His wrath is released upon the Earth. See God will not allow the beast to devourer His saints and will remove them, so they may go with Him to the wedding feast of the Lamb.

Revelations 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

The supernatural removal of godly individuals from earth is not unknown in Scripture ie. Enoch, who bypassed death.

Genesis 5:21-24 “Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.”

Hebrews 11:5 “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”

It is consistent with God's dealings with His people in the Old Testament to believe that the Church will be removed from the world before the Great Tribulation. God did not send the Flood until Noah and his family were safe in the ark. He did not destroy Sodom until Lot was taken out.

The rapture of the church will happen 7 years before the second coming of Jesus. God's children are being warned about the rapture right now by His true prophets, but just like in the times of Noah people refused to hear the warnings.

Luke 17:25-26 “But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man”

His holy blameless, righteous bride will know right before it happens, as they will see the times, understand the season, and hear the trumpet call as according to the last trumpet in 1 Cor 15:52.

The world cannot hear God's voice and therefore does not hear the warning. The world will not know when the second coming will happen either, but they surely will see Him on that day, as I discussed in yesterday’s teaching in revelation 1:7

The world has already approached a tremendous crisis in its history. A great many things that are happening in the world today are an indication to the students of prophecy that this DISPENSATION of the Grace of God is rapidly approaching the end. We see much corruption & wickedness today, where evil has become good and good has become evil.

We see and hear much about the increase in juvenile delinquency and crimes among children. Disobedience to parents is also widespread. Many parents are seeking to gratify their own selfish ambitions outside the home; allowing their children to drift into various evils. Never have we heard of so many hideous crimes as today in society. The wickedness of man is great in the earth. The earth is corrupt before God and filled with violence, just as it was in the time of Noah before the flood. (Genesis 6:6-11).

The time is ripe for the judgment of God to fall on the earth once more: the wickedness, corruption, lust, violence, crime, disorder, vice, and ungodliness. Surely the greatest wrath of God is hanging over us in the skies awaiting at the appointed time of God. We see that the earth groans and labours together with birth pangs (Romans 8:22) have taken place all over the earth with earthquakes, floods, cyclones, volcano eruptions and every natural disaster happening more frequently.

The rapture is not the second coming of Jesus and is not the end of the world, but it will be the beginning of seven years of tribulation for those left behind!! The rapture is just God removing His bride to a place of safety while His wrath is being poured out upon the sinful and unbelievers who remain here on earth. The Seven Seals that I believe have already started with the remaining and The Seven Trumpets and The Seven Bowls to continue in the 7 years tribulation.

Anyone who has not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and those Christians not living a holy sanctified life set apart from this world WILL NOT be raptured. The bible says even the devils believe and they tremble before God (See James 2:19), but many Christians do not fear the Lord.

Jesus will not allow His bride to get beaten before the rapture but will save her from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

ESCAPE THE WRATH TO COME:

Romans 5:9 "Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!"

Ephesians 5:6 " Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient."

Colossians 3:4 "When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory."

Luke 21:36 "But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 "For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come."

Those that are left behind are going to experience the wrath of God. The wrath of God will be the consequence to those who have rejected Jesus Christ and God's way of doing things. Some religions do not believe in a rapture and some religions do not believe in a Hell. There is a Hell and even though God loves us all, there are consequences to sin and rejecting Jesus Christ as Saviour. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, He rose from the dead and He now lives in Heaven giving us access to God. JESUS IS ALIVE AND OUR ONLY ACCESS TO THE ONE TRUE GOD!.

Just because some people and denominations do not believe in the rapture, does not mean it is not going to happen. The rapture is going to happen whether people believe or not. He knows how to protect the righteous and punish only those who deserve it. The word “rapture”, is a Greek word that means “caught up”. This is found in the book of Thessalonians as mentioned. Also, the Bible is very clear that the tribulation is a time when God releases His wrath upon the earth, and God's children escape His wrath, so we will not be here. The rapture happens before the tribulation begins. The only thing that is holding the evil from taking us into the tribulation is the Holy Spirit that is only here while the Church is still around.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the [a]mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”

This is called the age of grace and once the true bride is raptured, you really don’t want to have to be a tribulation saint, as you will all have to refuse the mark of the beast, except Christ and pay with your lives. (See Revelations 13:6)”

God is now giving His last warning to every man and woman, boy and girl, irresponsible parents and disobedient children, thieves, murderers, homosexuals, fornicators, drunkards, idolatry, and all unbelievers, by saying that the great day of His Wrath will come very soon and who shall be able to stand? (See Revelation 6:17

Therefore, anyone reading this that is not in right standing with God, Repent! And flee from the great wrath of God, now at our doors and soon to enter every ungodly home, by getting into the LIFEBOAT right now through sincere repentance, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

Surely, we are within a stone’s throw of the Rapture of His church which will commence His wrath and the judgment day. “I tell you, Nay, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3.

God is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9. Jesus is coming soon! Are you ready? Repent or perish. “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Luke 12:40.

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

This scripture above is talking about the system of the world the system of doing things on the earth. This system is developed and governed by Satan through the satanic agent on earth, such as government, religious body, various groups, and traditions, etc. This system contradicts the way of the Lord. That is why the word of God describe them as enmity against God and regarded them as the lust of eyes, lust of flesh and pride of life

Satan created this system in other to control our mind, our free will, and our body through the attacks of lust. These three areas of our lives are battle ground between God and Satan. Brethren, it is very important for us as children of God to break any relationship we are having with the world. God will help us, in Jesus name!

DAY 4 THEME: "SAINTS WE NEED MORE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”

DATE: FRIDAY 10TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

As this starts off day four of ten days of fasting and praying the weeks of awe, I want us to start off today by repenting of all known and unknown sins before the Lord. For according to 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

See it is the Holy Spirit that convicts us of sin (John 16:8), so ask the Holy Spirit now to reveal to you any area within your life that needs repenting and start to confess to the Lord with a broken heart and a contrite spirit (Psalm 51:17)

As you allow the blood of Jesus to wash you today from all unrighteousness, I want us to focus back on the today’s main scripture. Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Jesus was giving His disciples the very invitation to receive the power of God from on high. See Jesus knew the importance of the Holy Spirit, because without the Holy Spirit He could not do the mission before Him. (Acts 10:38)

So, if Jesus emphasised the importance of receiving the Holy Spirit, then why do we not hunger and thirst for the gift of the Spirit more today? Why do we not talk of it, pray for it, and preach concerning it? The Lord is more willing to give the Holy Spirit to all those who hunger and thirst for Him. He desires to give more of the Holy Spirit to all those that serve Him, just like good parents that reward their children with gifts. God desires to give you more and more of His Spirit each day.

Imagine we had ordinary men and women that were waiting in one place in one accord worship God with an expectation of something that they had never experienced before. But when the power of God came it transformed this ordinary people to do extraordinary tasks before them. The church of Jesus Christ was announced with a mighty rushing wind and a tornado of fire that would transform life’s forever. They became the people they became and led thousands to Christ, because they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

As I look back at my own introduction to the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was at a charismatic long weekend with a group of youth that also did not know what to expect, but that weekend the Holy Spirit came down with fire. Where tongues of fire touched tongues of flesh and I started to speak in the heavenly language. Where gifts of prophecy, words of knowledge and visions were imparted. Where a new spiritual boldness was given to reach lost souls, where a new deep love for the God head and Holy Spirit formed. Yes, I was never the same for something compelled me to share this experience with others, so others could also come into the fullness of what the baptism of the Holy Spirit promises for all who ask and wait upon Him.

See at that time I started to pray for people and many also were being filled within the Holy Spirit and no matter where God was moving, I wanted to be there to experience more of the Holy Spirit. I also remember the persecution that came from the religious people around us, that could not understand this newfound love for God or speaking in an unknown language. But despite of the attacks from religious people the joy of the Lord always overcome the attacks. When you pray for people and they start to be healed of their sickness or delivered from their oppression; then you not only know God is with you, but that He will do what He says He will do in His Word. What about you? Do you need more of the Holy Spirit in your life? Then Cry out to Him to fill you starting from today.

Here Are Further Scriptures to Dwell Upon:

Paul once asked 12 men from Ephesus, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” (Acts 19:2, NLT). How would you answer? The Ephesian men said, “No, we have not even heard of the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 8:16—When the Holy Spirit comes among us, we will confess our sins and receive the gift of salvation through Jesus. We will have assurance of salvation because we are children of God.

Ezekiel 36:25-27—The presence of the Holy Spirit will give us a new mind and a new heart. We will have victory over our sins and see real character growth.

John 7:38, 39 and Galatians 5:22, 23—When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit—the character of God—will flow from us like rivers of living water.

Acts 4:13, 31—The abiding presence of the Holy Spirit will motivate and empower us to share the gospel with as many people as possible.

John 16:13—As the Spirit dwells in us, we will have a hunger and love for the Bible, and He will lead us into all truth. This truth is not just a technical understanding of facts but the very character of Christ, who is the Truth.

Romans 8:26, 27—As we pray in the Holy Spirit, we will have power in our prayers and will see many miraculous answers to prayer.

Jesus said there would be two groups of Christians just before His return (Matthew 25). “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.” (Matthew 25:). Five bridesmaids were foolish and had no oil (the presence of the Holy Spirit; see Zechariah 4:1-6) in reserve. These represent those who appear to be followers of Jesus but are not. They are religious but not spiritual. Thus, Jesus said to them, “I don’t know you!” The five wise bridesmaids had plenty of oil. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and had a genuine relationship with Jesus. The disciples, in obedience to the command of Christ, remained in Jerusalem after His ascension. “They spent all of their time in the Temple, praising God” (Luke 24:53). When they were not in the temple they were in the upper room. “They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus” (Acts 1:14, NLT). Ten days later they were all baptized in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2), and 3,000 were converted in one day in that one place!

If you are still yet to receive the gift of the baptism of the Holy Spirit then I encourage you to look up this prayer on my channel “PRAYER TO RECEIVE THE BAPTISIM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj-K1W0IA4o

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 4:

We come into Your presence with thanksgiving, and we enter Your courts with praise. We have no words that adequately describe how much we appreciate You and what You have done for us. We gladly and humbly add our human praise to that of the sinless angels, who ever delight to worship You!

Please change my heart, O God, and make it ever true. Cleanse me from sin and prepare me to receive Your Spirit (Psalm 51:7, 10).

Lord, please send a revival of true godliness among Your people, marked by the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22, 23).

Baptise us with the Holy Spirit and give us power to proclaim the gospel to a world lost in darkness (Acts 1:5-8).

Have mercy, O Lord, on my family, friends, co-workers, and classmates. Save them, and may I be Your helper to this end (Matthew 28:19, 20).

Bless the pastors, teachers, evangelists, Bible workers, and administrators of our church with the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

Dear Lord, please show mercy to the abused and persecuted and give them Your protection and deliverance from the hands of those who seek to do them harm (Psalm 91).

We pray for a spiritual revival to erupt among all the youth in schools, colleges, and universities worldwide. May this youth arise and awaken to the Gospel to become vibrant ambassadors for Christ.

We pray for that percent of the earth’s population who have not received an unclouded presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pray for a new and great manifestation of God’s miracle power in your life, Robert Clancy Ministries, Your church, and Your nation. Seek the Lord for miracles, signs, and wonders that will amaze the people and bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pray that God’s healing power would come into your life in all of its fullness. Ask that He would heal you from sickness and disease, and from every hurt, brokenness, and defeat. (3 John vs. 2; Isaiah 53:5)

There are hidden strongholds that are blocking your progress in life. Pray against those strongholds. Ask God to reveal them to you so that they can be broken (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Name the specific stronghold in your life and family and command it to be broken in Jesus’ name.

Pray for Robert Clancy YouTube Channel to grow and reach those in need of hearing this Endtime message, without any more hinderance coming against the channel being taken down in Jesus mighty name.

Pray for Rev Robert & Aida Clancy and your church that God will supply exceeding, abundantly above all we could ask or think. Lord any spirit of sabotage that is coming against this ministry be exposed and cast back into the pit of hell in Jesus mighty name! Pray that every financial need will be met and that we will have more than enough to carry out the vision for this month of September and beyond even when the Lord tarries.

Lord, we pray for those individuals that the Holy spirit brings to our attention right now, that they may let the Holy Spirit work in their lives.

DAY 5 THEME: “THE PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE”

DATE: SATURDAY 11TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Matthew 24:32-35 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that [a]it is near—at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

Mark 13:28-31 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that [a]it is near—at the doors! 30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

Luke 21:29-33 “Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

Precious saints before we start today's word study I want to warn you that this may seem a little boring for some as there is a lot of numbers involved. But please bear with me so you can get the bigger picture of why I am highlighting the years (2021-2028).

So for those that are not aware On May 14, 1948, the nation of Israel was “re-born” in a day with the termination of the then 1922 British Mandate (preceded by the Balfour Declaration) and the proclamation of statehood by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. See the Jews had been dispersed from their homeland since 70 AD when the Roman Emperor Titus Vespasian invaded and destroyed the city along with the Second Temple. But on that day of May 14th 1948 some 73 years ago now, God’s prophecy was being fulfilled. Yes, that He would regather His people again as spoken of by the prophet Isaiah below.

Isaiah 11:11-12 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.”

See Israel has been represented typologically (symbolically) in the Old Testament, as a fig tree with both good and bad figs. So let us see this reference from the scriptures below:

Jeremiah 24:2 “One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.”

Jeremiah 24:5 “Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.”

From the above scriptures it clearly indicates that the “fig tree” is a symbol for Israel. It is a “tree” that produces both good and bad figs.

What About End Times Prophecy:

Biblical scholars have also long understood this chapter (Matthew 24:32-35) to offer information about the timing of the Great Tribulation and Jesus's second return. It is centered on the “fig tree,” the young and tender Israel that was “birthed” in 1948. It’s believed that is the generation that “will by no means pass away till all these things take place.” So as we go deeper please bear with me through the repeated details and you can read any scriptures that I have referenced below for further study.

This now raises an important question, as we are going to look deeper into a generation and a life time. How many years is a generation? Well the Bible defines a generation by various numbers of years.

According to the standard set down in Genesis 15:12-16, a generation is 100 years.

According to Moses, in Psalm 90:10, it is 70 (or 80) years.

According to the passage in Matthew 1:17, it is about 42 years.

To save you some time with all the calculations lets get into it and look at Forty-two years? Seventy years? Eighty years? One hundred years? So if we were to add 42 years to 1948 it would come to 1990, so we can rule out forty-two years since that would have been 1990 and the Tribulation did not take place then let alone the rapture. We can rule out 70 years 2018 because the tribulation did not start let alone the rapture of the church. That means the next possibility would be 80 years which comes to 2028. Now ask yourself does that fit?

Yes eighty does seem to fit. So, is it plausible that the nation could be “rebirthed” for 80 years before the return of Christ Jesus? The answer is, we don’t know. The further study below is simply thoughts for consideration to open your mind to also how near it can be. We certainly know that we are in the season of the last days precious saints. Why? because we know that for sin is rampant, apostasy is greatly increased, mandated jabs, the great reset before us. Yes, we certainly live in a time that is likened unto “the days of Noah,” which Jesus said is another sign of the coming Tribulation (Mat 24:38). By the way in Noah's time they did not want to know about the warnings and even today Christians do not want to know about the warnings.

But in this study below, we will consider a convergence of five eschatological timelines that others have suggested that point to the years 2021–2028 (7 years) and how they could be a pivotal period in Bible prophecy for us to consider. With the rapture so imminent we must understand the season that we are in precious saints and though no one will knows the day of the hour, we can know the season of the fig tree.

Now the biblical standard for determining the truth of a matter is in the testimony of two or three witnesses as according to (2 Cor. 13:1). So, with no more delay let us look to the below study to see if they can highlight the significance to us today.

1. FIG-TREE TIMELINE

Speaking of the time of His return, Jesus says the generation who sees the fig tree put forth leaves will see all the end-times events come to pass:

“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near … Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened” (Matt. 24:32, 34).

Now I am going to repeat myself a little, so bear with me please. As mentioned above the fig tree is a symbol of Israel as according to (Hos. 9:10; Jer. 24:1–10; Luke 31:1–9). The upper limit of a human lifespan in Scripture is 70 or 80 years as according to (Ps. 90:10). But as we have already counted 70 years we shall look at 80 years from May 1948 when Israel became a nation and began to flourish, the calculated upper limit of the fig-tree generation is 2028. So, when subtracting seven years, the presumed length of the tribulation period, we arrive at 2021. Interesting to say the least given that you will see (2021-2028) come up alot. So, as we have spoken about the Fig Tree already, so let us move on to the next study on the abomination timeline.

2. ABOMINATION TIMELINE

In the Fig-Tree Parable we see that the time of the great tribulation is also linked to an abomination that causes desolation, As according to the book of Matthew:

Matthew 24:15,22 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),.. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the [a]elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”

The Book of Daniel also tells us when the abomination will appear:

Daniel 12:11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that causes desolation set up, there shall be 1,290 days”.

Now it is important for us to understand that in Bible prophecy, a day commonly represents a year as spoken about in (Dan. 9:24–27; Num. 14:34; Ez. 4:5, 6). So look these scriptures up in your own time. So counting 1,290 years from when the daily sacrifice was interrupted by King Nebuchadnezzar in 605–06 BC, we arrive at 685–86 AD—which is the year construction began on the Dome of the Rock, an Islamic shrine which has made the Temple Mount desolate ever since.

After revealing when the abomination will be set up, Daniel tells us how many days (or years) will pass before Israel receives the blessing of redemption at the end of the age:

Daniel 11:12 “Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days”.

Counting 1,335 years from when construction began on the Dome of the Rock in 685–86 AD, we arrive at 2021.

Counting 1,335 years from when the Dome was completed in 692–93 AD, we arrive at 2028.

Thus, the fig-tree and abomination timelines in Matthew and Daniel point to 2021–2028! So now let us move onto Daniels’s weeks prophecy below to further look at some interesting coincidences.

3. DANIEL’S WEEKS

In Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy, the going forth of a command to rebuild Jerusalem initiates a countdown to the Messiah:

Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times”.

It is well-known how Daniel foretells the year of the Messiah’s first coming: counting the 7 and 62 weeks (483 years) from when the Persian King Artaxerxes’ command to rebuild Jerusalem in 457 BC, we arrive at 27–28 AD, which is the year, according to some reckonings, that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and was hailed as the Messiah (Matt. 21:1-17).

In addition to revealing the year of Jesus’ first coming, some believe Daniel’s weeks have a dual application, that they may be counted from later restorations of Jerusalem to determine the year of His return.

For instance, Daniel mentions Jerusalem’s walls being rebuilt (Dan. 9:25). The walls currently surrounding Jerusalem were rebuilt by the Ottoman ruler Suleiman in 1537–38 AD. So counting Daniel’s 7 and 62 weeks (483 years) from this restoration of Jerusalem, we arrive at 2021.

What’s more, when we count only the 62 weeks (7 x 62 = 434 years) from the rebuilding of the walls in 1537 AD, we arrive at 1971 AD. This is significant because the biblical year spanning 1970–1971 is when a master plan was submitted to rebuild the Old City of Jerusalem and was approved and implemented (see notes). Counting Daniel’s 7 weeks (7 x 7 = 49 years) from the 1971 rebuilding of Jerusalem, we arrive at 2020. We then add a year, a 50th, as a count of 49 implies a 50th in Scripture, to arrive at 2021.

Thus, we have two orders to rebuild Jerusalem (1537–38 AD and 1970–71) pointing to 2021. Furthermore, the two orders are separated by a span of 62 weeks! So now let’s now move onto Daniels further insight and prophecy of 2,520.

4. 2,520 TIME-LINE

As far as numbers in the Bible that signify actual objects, 2520 is the most temple-oriented. This is because, according to Daniel 9:27, the seven-year covenant (2520 days) is based on the reinstitution of ritual sacrifice on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and 1260 days marks its interruption.

But today with our reckoning of Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy in view, it is fascinating to consider the total number of years encompassed by God’s plan to redeem Israel. As noted earlier, the countdown to Israel’s redemption began in 457 BC and may conclude around 2021–28. What is remarkable is that the period intervening 457 BC to 2028 AD amounts to 2,520 prophetic (360-day) years—the same number of days in a prophetic “week” of years, 2,520. So, if our 2028 end date is correct, the prophecy based on a reckoning of weeks will be fulfilled over the course of a “week” of 2,520 years!

Seeing how God repeats numbers and themes in Scripture, it would make sense for the “weeks” prophecy, including the lengthy gap between the 69th and 70th week, to play out over the course of a symbolic week, i.e. 2,520 years. It would also make sense for the years to be prophetic years as this way of reckoning is common to Daniel and Revelation as spoken about in (Dan. 7:25; 9:27; 12:7; Rev. 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14; 13:5). Moving on again to Hosea’s prophecy of two days below.

Why is 2520 so special to God? 2520 is found by multiplying the two most important numbers of Creation. The number of days in a week is 7, and the number of degrees in the circle of the earth is 360. One of God’s names in the Bible is Eli-Shaba, meaning, God of the oath. Shaba literally means ‘seven.’ The strongest oath in the Bible was ‘to seven oneself.’ In Genesis 15 God established His covenant with Abram, and then in Exodus 6:4-8 He expands upon that covenant with Moses and the children of Israel; which contained His seven “I wills.” The Bible speaks of four numbers that demonstrate perfection: Three – speaks of divine perfection; Seven – speaks of spiritual perfection; Ten – speaks of ordinal perfection; and Twelve – speaks of governmental perfection. 2520 is the product of all four multiplied together, 3 x 7 x 10 x 12 = 2520.

It has been called 2520 “Chronological Perfection.” The smallest number that can be evenly divided by all the numbers 1-10 is 2520. Although the number 360 brings to mind completion, it cannot be evenly divided by all numbers 1-10 because it is not divisible by 7. Prophecy has often followed previous patterns, and there are types in prophecy or those that have dual fulfillment.

5. HOSEA’S TWO DAYS

Finally, In Hosea we are told the Messiah will revive, or resurrect, Israel after two days:

Hosea 6:2 “After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence”.

According to Scripture, “a day is as a thousand years” to the Lord (2 Peter 3:8). Thus, there are exactly two (thousand-year) “days” between Jesus’ first coming in 28 AD and the calculated year of His second coming in 2028!

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

In this study we have seen how eschatological timelines in the Old and New Testaments—recorded centuries apart and employing vastly different calculations—point to the same seven-year period, 2021–2028 (7 years):

• Counting the biblical upper limit of a lifespan, 80 years, from when the fig-tree, Israel, began to flourish in 1948, we arrive at 2028.

• Counting Daniel’s 1,335 days as years from when construction began on the Dome-of-the-Rock in 685–86 AD, we arrive at 2021.

• Counting Daniel’s 1,335 years from when the Dome of the Rock was completed in 692–93 AD, we arrive at 2028.

• Counting Daniel’s 7 and 62 weeks from the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls in 1537–38 AD, we arrive at 2021.

• Counting Daniel’s 7 weeks (plus one year) from 1971 when a master plan to rebuild Jerusalem was approved and implemented, we arrive at 2021.

Additionally . . .

• From the commencement of Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy in 457 BC to its speculative conclusion in 2028 is 2,520 prophetic years, a symbolic week.

• From Jesus’ first coming in 28 AD to the speculative year of His second coming in 2028 is two (thousand-year) “days” (Hos. 6:2).

Special Note: The modern plan to rebuild the Old City of Jerusalem was approved in the month of Av (August) 1970. Five months later, in Tevet of the same biblical year (January 1971), the rebuilding of Jerusalem began when “a bulldozer commenced working within the perimeter of the United Nations premises at Government House”:

What should we take away from this remarkable convergence?

Let us just be ready as never has there been a time matching such to date, the unprecedented confluence of timelines, without stretching dates or scripture, suggests our calculations may be correct or near correct. We say “near” correct because, where calendars and calculations are involved, there is a margin of error. For this reason, even if our understanding of the prophecies is on track, we cannot say for certain 2021 will see the Lord’s return for His bride of the rapture. What we can say, based on sound biblical calculations, is that 2021 holds more promise than any year before it precious saints. So, all I am saying here is keep watch for the bride groom could return any moment precious saints and we must be ready!

Conclusion

As Christians, we should be aware of how quickly we are approaching the time of God’s fulfilling of all things. We do live in the last days precious saints. There will be a time when Jesus comes for His Bride (Read: What is the Rapture from day 3) There will be a time of Jacob’s Trouble, a seventieth week of Daniel, a Great Tribulation (Jer 30:7, Dan 9, Matt 24:21). And whether the generation of the fig tree is 80 or a little longer, our commission remains the same as it has been since Jesus gave it:

Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

We are to be Jesus’ hands, His feet, and His mouth to show His love and to speak His good news of saving grace. We don’t want anyone to go through the Tribulation. The Book of Revelation tells how terribly bad it will be precious saints and Jesus desires that none should perish, but rather obtain salvation in Him (2 Pet 3:9, 1 Th 5:9). He has paid for all the sins of the world, but not all the people of the world have repented and trusted in Him. If you have not yet done so, call on His name and believe that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was raised from the dead (Rom. 10:13). Do it today. Time is running out!

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 5

We come against the powers of darkness, the forces of evil that would try to dominate and rule in our life’s and homes. We rise against that darkness. We rise against those spirits and dispel the darkness. In the Name of Jesus, we command the devil to take his hand OFF our family in Jesus Mighty Name. We pray for every family member, that they’ll not be so concerned about the things of this world, but that they’ll be concerned about their salvation and preparation for the Lords coming above all in Jesus Mighty Name!

We come against the powers of darkness, the forces of evil, the demons of hell that would endeavour to dominate our family. We pray for the salvation over all our family. We pray about every need within our homes. We pray that the financial needs will be turned around, and everyone that wants a job will find a job within your perfect will and for how long. We command the devil and all his cohorts: Take your hand OFF the finances of our family in Jesus Mighty Name!

Pray for truth to come forth to open the hearts of all family members that they may know the Endtime hour we are living in. "In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds" (Ps. 45:4).

Dear Heavenly Father in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ we come before you this day. Lord help us to follow your example, by looking out for those who each day feel unworthy to be raptured, who cannot find hope, who believe that they have little to offer, who are overcome by the challenges of warfare. Lord deliver each person and fill the hearts of each person that needs it today with the fire of your love and with the desire to ensure we are always safe in Jesus arms. By sharing the good things, you give us with our brothers and sisters that are in need. May there be an end to division, strife, and war within our homes and May you Jesus be Lord over all under our homes in your name. Amen

DAY 6 THEME: “EXPOSING SATANS AGENDA TO THE NATIONS”

DATE: SUNDAY 12TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Numbers 23:23 says, “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!”

Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

So, what is satan’s plan and agenda you might be saying? Anyone who seeks to have a CLOSE relationship with God through prayer and desire for greater intimacy with the Father through the finished work of the Son, Jesus — will become a prime target for satanic attacks. The Bible says that there is an enemy who is bent on destruction

John 10:10 The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy… and will do whatever it takes to leave us discouraged, doubting and defeated Christians. In our “scientific” society where nothing you can’t see, feel, touch, taste or smell seems real, some scoff at the mention of a spiritual battle. The Bible, however, makes it clear: We have an “enemy the devil [who] prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

But Jesus promises that His followers can both survive and thrive through the battle: “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10).

In most nations today become much more popular than it was say 30 years ago. Today, there is popular Satanic music, Satanic street gangs, an increase in Satanic worship, a more widespread use of the horoscope and study of the signs of the zodiac, and Satanic games that can be purchased. Despite this, many people do not take the occult seriously. They laugh off the notion of the Power of Evil as actually being a part of the "real" world in which we live.

I do believe that demonic influence is very real and that it constitutes a dangerous threat to our spiritual well-being. What is written here is, at best, a summary of a reality that I have no desire to spend much time exploring. My purpose is simply to give you enough knowledge to be able to at least suspect the presence of the occult and evil, so that you can avoid it completely.

Satan Has a Terrible Plan against Gods creation and to every believer of Christ Jesus. In the letter to the Ephesians (1:3-10), the apostle Paul tells us that God chose us in Jesus Christ before the world began. We are called to be holy and without sin in his sight. God called us to be his children through Jesus Christ. In Jesus and through his Blood we have been saved and our sins forgiven. This is how generous God our Father has been with us. And He has given us the wisdom to understand this mystery, this plan He revealed to us in Christ.

GOD’S KINGDOM

Now the kingdom of God is absolutely opposed to Satan's kingdom. Salvation in Jesus Christ presupposes our rejection of the kingdom of darkness. Our life, though, is a spiritual warfare. In the first letter of John.

1 John 5:18-20 “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”

Peter tells us two things. First of we who are born of God and are protected by God, so that the Evil One cannot touch us. But he also tells us that the whole world is under the Evil One. See the Evil One can tempt us, but he cannot touch us directly unless we open the door for him. We should not fear Satan nor should we be constantly looking for him in the ordinary happenings of our life or under every rock as I like to put it. Do not concentrate on the Evil Spirits but fix your eyes and your faith upon Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace in faith of Jesus Christ alone. Through prayer and obedience and adherence to the Word of God in the Bible we are fuelled to finish the race He has started. He who started that good work in us shall be finished in Jesus Mighty Name!

THE DEVIL’S ACTIVITIES

To get an idea of the activities of the Devil and his fallen-angel followers, just look at the names for them throughout Scripture. Among many descriptive titles, the Devil is called the wicked one, adversary, father of lies. Fallen angels are called evil spirits, demons, unclean spirits. Together, their expressed activities include:

•Tempting (Matthew 4:1)

•Lying (John 8:44)

•Accusing (Zechariah 3:1)

•Corrupting (2 Peter 2:10-12) “and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of [a]dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,”

•Deceiving (1 Timothy 4:1) Now the Spirit [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

We must realize, however, that God limits the activities of Satan and his demons. Jesus’ death on the cross sealed the judgment of demonic forces: “When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him” (Colossians 2:15; also see John 16:11;19:30; Hebrews 2:14).

Because of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, someone has said that Satan is like a bee without a stinger. Jesus took hold of the bee and was “stung.” Now the bee does a lot of buzzing and annoying, but he has no stinger (see Romans 6:23). For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It has been said that the Devil and his demons are like dogs, with leashes that extend only as far as God determines (see Job 1:9-12; Luke 22:31). In His perfect wisdom, God allows their activities, but He is always working above and beyond them (see Genesis 50:20-21; Romans 8:28-29; Jesus’ crucifixion — and its results — is the ultimate example). 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Yet the Enemy and his followers are in denial, for they still think victory is within their grasps. They continue to do whatever they can to affect people — made in the image of God and with the potential of glorifying and being glorified by Him.

Though the ultimate war has been won, we are engaged in a daily battle against the prince of this world. We are clearly warned in God’s Word of the damage that can be inflicted by the kingdom of darkness. The Enemy schemes against us, throws flaming missiles at us, seeks to devour us, and wages direct warfare upon us (2 Corinthians 2:10-11 “10 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For [a]if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, 11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

Ephesians 6:11-12, Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We are to arm ourselves, stand against, refute, resist, and overcome (Ephesians 6:12-18; Isaiah 54:7; James 4:7; Revelation 12:11). Everything we need to successfully do battle was appropriated on the Cross. We simply need to appropriate it.

SATAN’S KINGDOM

What is the kingdom of Satan, the kingdom of darkness like? It is a lie that seeks to resemble the Kingdom of God. Read Isaiah (14:12-15).

Isaiah 14:12-15 “How you are fallen from heaven, O [a]Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the [b]lowest depths of the Pit.”

It is about Satan. The prophet Isaiah tells us that in his heart Satan is determined to be like God. Therefore, in Satan's kingdom he wants everything that is in the Kingdom of God. But his kingdom is a lie; it is false. In the kingdom of darkness, there is false worship and adoration; there is evil prayer. He offers us false happiness and peace. He holds out to us dark wisdom and knowledge. This is how he tempted Adam and Eve (Gen. 3:5). Satan said: "No, God knows well that the moment you eat it (the forbidden fruit) your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods who know what is good and what is bad." In his kingdom, Satan also offers us a health that is unto death, and a protection that is false. Just as we picture the angels of heaven singing and worshipping God, there is also a special music that is evil in the kingdom of darkness.

Satan's kingdom is a lie. He wants to be like God. But in the very first of the Ten Commandments, God told Moses: "I am the Lord your God. You shall not have strange gods that are proposed to us in the kingdom of darkness. " Paul tells us in 1 Tim 4:1 to be on our guard: "The Spirit says clearly that some men will abandon their faith in later times. They will obey lying spirits and follow the teaching of demons" (1 Tim. 4:1). Let us hold fast to our faith in the Lord Jesus and his Church. Our salvation is brought about by Jesus Christ alone and the finished work of the cross. Jesus has given us all authority to overcome the enemy and we need to exercise that authority each day to overcome the enemy. Let us pray today to overcome the enemy.

DAY 7 THEME: “PRAY FOR PERSONAL REVIVAL AND SEPARATION FROM THIS WORLD”

DATE: MONDAY 13TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: - Habakkuk 3:1-2 "A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, on Shigionoth. 2 O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.”

This verse may be paraphrased also to “O Yahweh, I have heard Your fame, and I bowed in reverent worship. O Yahweh, repeat Your doings of old in these current years of affliction; in these years of sorrow, demonstrate Your power; in wrath, remember mercy.”

We are living in both peril times and exciting times for the born-again Christian that is awaiting the imminent snatching away of the bride. We also should have the same cry as did the Prophet Habakkuk that was praying for the Lord to show Himself in power once more and have mercy on all our family and lost loved ones within this hour. See judgement is coming and first it starts in the house of God. The greatest judgment that will come to the church is those who were left behind after the rapture. There will be many servants of God left behind that deceived the sheep of Christ. On that day many angry sheep will come looking for those servants of God and say "why did you not prepare me for the rapture?". Do not be deceived by many saying better days are ahead when clearly the signs are pointing to things only getting worse. Many are saying a great revival is coming, but are the same people that have remained silent with the snake bite.

A revival speaks of things that were alive but are dying out and need to be brought back to life. Rather than a world wide revival in stadiums, there will be a remnant of saints across the earth that are preparing for the rapture. They will be those that are blowing the trumpet warning others of what is to come, so others can cry out, “Lord, we need to be stirred up in our faith once more, while we wait for Your imminent coming”! Could it be that the events of this last week in prayer has stirred up a great awakening of revival within your personal life that Jesus is coming back soon?

Haggai 2:6 say’s “Once more in a little while I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and also the dry land, I will shake the nations……”

Above all else I am praying for an awakening to the message of the Gospel in all your homes and anyone that will listen to the warnings within this late hour. May the Lord come and shake the very foundations on which we have built our lives, transform the lives of all that will take heed with a revelation of the great news of Jesus Christ. Begin with us Lord, wake up your people and do not pass us by, as we want to be ready for the day of your snatching!

See revival is not about us, it is not about the 4 walls of a church building at all. For when you are filled with the Spirit and God revives you, you start to see people as God sees people – as sheep without a shepherd, you don’t see colour you see Gods creation and only revival can uproot the deep racial tensions around the nations. Revival awakens us also to a fresh vision of our own spiritual state under the magnifying glass of the Holy Spirit. It draws us straight to the mercy of God and need to change under the strong conviction of the Holy Spirit. With that conviction brings the need to separate from the things of this world.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SEPARATION

James 4:4 “You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.”

The Bible is NOT vague on the matter of separation from the world. God's children are commanded in the Bible to be SEPARATED from the world. In what way should we be separated from the world?

1. We are to be separated in our beliefs.

2. We are to be separated in our lifestyles.

3. We are to separated in our fellowship.

4. We are to be separated in our conversation.

5. We are to be separated from the world in marriage.

6. We are to be separated from the world in entertainment & leisure.

2 Corinthians 6:17 “Therefore, "Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

1 Corinthians 5:11 “But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.”

As we prepare for the rapture of the bride, let us choose to separate from this world in every way.

• Though only a few go with me, I will still follow Christ.

• Though I may be imprisoned, I shall walk in freedom.

• Though many walk down the wide path, I will walk the narrow path.

• Though many are chasing earthen treasures, I shall store up my treasures in heaven.

• Though many are trying to live this mortal life, I choose to lose this life on earth to gain eternal life.

• Though many follow the traditions of this world, I follow the God of the bible.

• Though many false preachers will prophelies to you ie. that great wealth transfer is coming, I will prophecy the soon return of the Messiah and coming rapture.

• Though many will water down the truth to keep your friendship, I will speak the truth in love at risk of losing your friendship.

• Though many are seeking their long term citizenship on this earth, I choose to prepare in holiness for my citizenship in heaven.

• Though many will flock to the apostate prosperity churches, I stay with the remnant church seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

• Though many go with the tide of every wind of false doctrine, I choose to go against the tide and walk in holiness.

Philippians 2:15 “ So that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky”

Our life is no longer about eating, drinking, leisure, feeding the flesh, glorifying the 'self' , its NOT about gratifying the desires of your sinful nature.

NO! Its about:

1. Being Born Again

2. Being Holy Spirit Filled

3. Its about CRUCIFYING the FLESH!

4. Its about Seeking The Lord and denial of 'self'

- you must note that this sinful life that was purchased by Jesus on the cross is all about HIM our LORD and SAVIOR..Its NOT ABOUT US I repeat, Its NOT ABOUT US!

Whatever you do that glorifies US is pure BLASPHEMY for we are now on HOLY ground, where God overlooked the ignorance of the past He now calls us to repentance. (Acts 17:30)

Time is over and The Messiah is coming back to take away a HOLY BRIDE! It is time for US to stop looking at the I in US, but focus on the I AM THAT I AM (Exodus 3) who now controls this vessel. Not a time to lie in the house of God and tell you things are going to get better and back to normal, for it is time to prepare for the snatching away of the bride.

2 Corinthians 7:10 “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”

As God the Father sent His Son Jesus to the cross to be crucified, let us also crucify our flesh and come back to God in godly sorrow that produces genuine repentance that we may be separated for His soon coming.

There is a harvest of souls that is ready to be taken in, but before you can go out get your house in order. See He’s looking for someone who will say, “Revive me, not for myself, but that I might become a not just a harvester of souls, but that that we will be transformed into Your image Lord.”

DAY 7 PRAYER FOCUS:

Pray for an Awakening to sweep your family and nation as the Lord's people learn to humble themselves with a contrite spirit, and to tremble at the Word of the Lord. "'Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?' declares the Lord. 'These are the ones I look on with favour: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word'" (Isa. 66:2).

Ask the Lord to bring revival to the remnant Church within your nation. "Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you! For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him" (Isa. 64:1–4).

Pray for the remnant preachers within your nation to fearlessly proclaim the Word of God regarding sin, God's love, and the rapture of the church. "In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear" (2 Tim. 4:1–3).

Heavenly Father, we sincerely repent of our sins and those of our family. We repent of the sins of omission as well as commission. These sins include idolatry, murder, anger, stubbornness, dishonesty, corruption, greed, sloth, lust, envy, compromise, fear, gluttony, gossip, hypocrisy, impurity, ingratitude, profanity, stealing, unforgiveness, untruthfulness, worldliness, worry and the ultimate sin of Pride. We take no solace in the fact that some of us may not have personally embraced sins such as abortion or marriage redefinition BUT by apathy or indifference have allowed evil to flourish. We have not followed Your Biblical mandate to submit to You, obey Your Holy Commandments and resist the Devil. Nor have we had a zeal to repent which invites You to commune with us, enabling us to become overcomers who will sit with You on Your throne (Rev 3:19-21).

Instead of embracing righteousness we--individually, in our families and in our nation--have performed evil acts. We have fallen short of Your Glory, for which You have cursed our nations with drought and pestilence and have opened our borders to the plunder of foreign armies. Even with obvious signs in the stars, moon, sky, and weather, we have not repented and returned our nations to You Lord in corporate repentance. Instead, our leaders have vowed to rebuild us of their own strength thus raising a fist is defiance to Your judgments.

Master, please have mercy on us. We beg for Your grace and mercy. We are undeserving of your mercy, but Your Holy Word says you are patient, kind, loving, merciful and longsuffering. Please, because of who YOU are and not because of what WE are—hear our prayer and grant our petition this day. We know you will hear from Heaven and will forgive our sins and heal our lands if we humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways.

Father, forgive us for the darkness in our life's—those hidden closets of the soul where sin is allowed to live and even grow. Forgive us lack of spiritual awareness, our lack of urgency for the responsibility of representing You to this world. And, Lord, we are aware that we’ve often “made provision for the flesh” by the television we’ve watched and the relationships we’ve tolerated. Help mus to seek You with our whole heart with no reservations.

And Father, we pray for ____ that You might wake them up, spiritually speaking. Open their eyes to the reality that life is short and eternity is long. Impress on them the urgency of their own spiritual walk with You to get right before the rapture. And Father, I pray that the power of sin would be broken in their lives. May the value they place on their sins pale in comparison with the freedom and fulfillment that comes with submitting to Your sovereignty and direction.

One day all the kingdoms of the world will truly know that YOU are our God and that we have no other gods but You. May You get all the glory, honour, and praise. May Your Kingdom come quickly, and may Your will be done here on Earth as it is in Heaven. We pray this prayer with great expectancy, looking upwards for for the day of rapture in Jesus Mighty Name! Amen

DAY 8 THEME: “PRODIGAL SON’S ARE RETURNING"

DATE: TUESDAY 14TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

Scripture Reading: Luke 15:25-35 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’ 28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore, his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’ 31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.”

There is nothing more a born-again parent wants for their children than to see them saved and strong in their faith. Unfortunately, the devil works very hard to attack our children, so that our legacy and future generations will not walk in the ways of the Lord. Now the Lord has shown me that we need to be praying with tears for all backslidden Christians and prodigal children within this hour. Not only is today's topic about our prodigal children and family members, but also those that need a wake up call. So as we delve into today's study, I want us to look at this story closer to see how it can relate to us also.

Now as we read the parable, we see that both sons demanded their rights. Both related to the father for what they could get out of him. Both were lost in their own way as we will see below. One in the far country. The other in the father’s house. Which is worse? Which are you?

Now the prodigal son had distanced himself; he wanted to take his inheritance and spend it. But in doing so, he had run out of his inheritance and was forced to live with pigs working as a slave. The same thing occurs when the devil, who comes along and puts us in chains. Where sin may be enjoyable, it will eventually fade and bring us into bondage.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23 “that the wages of sin are death..” and anything that has control over you will take advantage over you; it becomes your master. The prodigal son had chosen to come back to his father, knowing that, his father would receive him better as a slave, then the masters that he was currently under. Through the mercy of the Father, the prodigal son came back to his father who opened up his arms to receive him. He put a cloak upon him and called a feast on his behalf. He was forgiven.

Now put yourself in the shoes of the elder brother. From where you stand, the little brat has diminished the money of the family estate by liquidating and wasting his share on prostitutes. And now he comes back, and your father kills the fatted calf! Humanly speaking, you have every reason to be angry or at least annoyed.

You throw a tantrum. You stake your claim. You snub the invitation to celebrate. You refuse to allow the healing of the family to run its course. You never say Father but Look here I do not agree! You never say Brother but this son of yours. All you can think about is your rights, a goat to feast on, not with family, but with friends. The father pleads. But by your own choice, you exclude yourself from the where the party is happening.

Alienation in the father’s house can be worse than the one lost in a far country. This elder brother is too blind to see that he too is lost. It is all too easy to hide behind one’s principles saying “I never disobeyed you” and disdain God’s grace and mercy.

The modern Church is filled with elder brother-types who are respectfully lost in the Father’s house. That have not spent enough time just sitting at the feet of Jesus. We need to re-discover God’s amazing love and reckless grace. We need to accept those who, like the prodigal, cannot merit one iota of God’s mercy or earn His forgiveness. We need revival saints and we need it more now than ever before.

As mentioned above the parable ends with the door wide open and the father pleading. Will you come in? Will you join the party? Will you receive the Kingdom as a little child? Will you receive and forgive your brothers and sisters? Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

The focus for today is not only praying for prodigal children, but also for us to repent of any sin you need to confess, any hurt, any big brother attitude or anger. Ask the Lord to help you extending forgiveness to others and yourself, letting people go whom have held you in bondage and guilt. We need to let go of disappointments, regrets, and missed or lost opportunities suffered in our life’s, family, or even by a fellow Christian. God has given us scriptural promises for our children in which I want you to look up each now as you pray for your loved ones in Acts 16:31; Psalm 112:1-2; Isaiah 54:13; Isaiah 49:25.

Also today, we declare freedom and release over all spiritual bondages and mental strongholds, in our personal lives as well as for our body of Christ, in Jesus’ name. Let us claim that our morning and day of reaping, and rejoicing has come this day in Jesus name (Psalm 30:5)

PRAYER FOR RESTORATION (Isaiah 35:1-2, 5-7)

Father, be merciful unto us and save us for the sake of Your name! We pray for freedom from all forms of imprisonment, all that limit or hinder progress in life and in ministry. Lord we ask You to appear and speak to us within our situation and show us what we don't know that keeps us in prison, and that You’ll show us great and mighty things (Jer. 33:1, 3; Ex. 5:22-6:1; Habakkuk. 2:1)

SEEK THE KINGDOM

Think about your history of relationships. Have you been offended by God’s reckless grace? Be honest. All of us have a tinge of the elder-brother’s spirit. Will you allow God to expose and deal with it? Will you open your heart to His kind of love? Will you reconcile? Will you choose to be merciful as God our Father is merciful? Pray:

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 8:

Personal Prayer:

Dear Loving Father forgive me for pretending to be more spiritual than I am. Forgive me for begrudging Your lavish love and longsuffering mercies toward sinners. I confess I have been wayward at heart. I repent of my foolish sense of superiority. Forgive me for self-righteously judging, despising, and rejecting those who do not perform like me, those who have walked out on family and faith. To my shame, I have not served You out of joy and love, but out of duty and fear just to comply. Pluck out the hidden roots of spiritual pride and deception in my life. Create within me a right spirit and a compassionate love so that I may always—with open heart and open arms—accept and acknowledge, applaud, and affirm every sinner who comes home. Thank you, Father, for sending your son to the cross to die for us and that we may have life In Jesus Name, amen.

Prayer For Prodigal Child:

We want to drive away people from our prodigal children, that are of a bad influence and a bad example. We are going to pray now and believe God is going to bring their freedom today and that our prodigal children will return back to the Lord.

Heavenly father, in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we come to your mercy seat today asking that you would forgive us of all our sins. Forgive us of any responsibility that we had in sending our children astray in any shape or form. We ask that you give us the wisdom to pray specifically for our children. Show us Lord, the areas that need to be prayed for. Lead us to the right people, group or intercessors that will stand with us until our prodigal child(ren) returns back to you Lord.

Give us the wisdom that we may speak and pray. Give us the grace to bind the hands of the enemy that are interfering with our children to stop them from returning. Surround our children with Christians at their work, Christians at their school, send them evangelists in the name of our Lord Jesus. Send ministering angels to him or her to show them that they are loved by you and their family. Cut off the speech of the enemy from speaking lies to them. Create a distance between them and any friends or family that are continually drawing them away from the Lord. Protect them and surround them with your angels. Build up a powerful testimony in his or her life through this experience, through this prayer of breakthrough. We overcome all things through the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, giving you all the glory for the miraculous transformations in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord, we know that when two or more are gathered in prayer, you are there in the midst. Just as you are here right now, praying on our behalf. As it says in Lamentations 2:19, ‘“Arise, cry out in the night, At the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him For the life of your young children, Who faint from hunger at the head of every street.” May the Lord give you the strength to lift up your hand for your children, as you pour out your heart to the Lord. Pour out your heart to him to bring a change. Psalm 73:36 says “My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” The Lord is your strength, your everything and all you need to do is to cry out to him, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We all have seen and deserved the judgement of God. For the Lord sent his son to sanctify that judgment for those who believe in him. Jesus the creator, the eternal son of God who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that he died for our sins. Taking the punishment that we deserve; he was buried and rose from the dead. If we truly believe and trust in our hearts and receive Jesus as our Savour, he says we will even make sinners come back to him. Lord, I pray right now in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you will cry out for the prodigal children. To the east, the south, the west and the north, you will draw them home today. We give you all the glory and praise, in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray and believe, amen.

Intercede for lost souls. Ask God to lift the veil of deception from their eyes, so that they will see the truth of Jesus. Pray for your family and friends who don’t know Christ. Ask God to convict them of sin and soften their hearts to receive His Word. Claim the promise of God’s blessing today. Ask God to increase you finances. Pray for Divine favour to open doors for you as the Lord tarries. Seek the Lord for the wisdom you need to make wise financial decisions and investments.

Shalom

DAY 9 THEME: - “OPEN HEAVEN”

DATE: WEDNESDAY 15TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Acts 10:1-4 “There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, 2 a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. 3 About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” 4 And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.”

Assurance of Faith

As we are waiting upon the Lord during this 10 day fast preparing for the imminent rapture of the bride of Christ. I am believing God to bring an open heaven over each person participating whilst we are waiting on the Lord in this fasting and prayers. So in today’s fasting program, I would like us to consider some things that we can hold on to, as we stand in prayers to believe God for our personal breakthroughs.

So, question I want to pose upon many today is what must we do to experience open heavens within our lives?

From today’s theme scripture, along with others that we will examine, we will see some helpful patterns emerge to answer our questions and bring breakthrough. One thing is very certain:

Child of God, did you know that you can live under open heavens. It is God's desire and plan for your life to live under, and experience continually open heavens. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places, and we know that Christ is seated in the very presence and at the right hand of the Father. So as the Lord tarries in His snatching away of the bride, I want you to under these principles to walk under the open heaven.

WHAT DOES ONE NEED TO DO TO EXPERIENCE?

First off, we will look at how God can work in an open heaven:

God's Sovereignty — Many times, God opens the heavens to give man a revelation of His divine presence, as a sovereign act without man's input at all.

Prayers — Our prayers position us to experience open heavens.

In our theme scripture today above, Cornelius “provoked” open heavens, as the bible said concerning him:

“Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10:3b

This is also confirmed by the following two scriptures:

Luke 3:21— “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened…”

James 5:17-18 —"Elijah was a human being like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and there was no rain on the land for three years and six months! 18 Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.“

Have you remained steadfast and importunate in your prayers?

Giving — In the passage of scripture that we read earlier (Acts 10:3b), Cornelius's prayers and his generous giving pushed through the heavens to come before God. Your giving (material and financial) can cause the heaven to be open unto you.

Are you generous and consistent in your giving?

This principle can also be seen highlighted in Malachi 3:10 — "Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my temple. Test me in this matter,“ says the LORD who rules over all, "to see if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no room for it all.”

Are you faithful in your tithes and offerings to those the Lord lays it upon your heart to give?

Righteous Living and Obedience— As we read in from these two scripture passages from (In Deuteronomy 28:1-23 “12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.”

and 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 “ When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”) , we see that God warned Israel that the heavens will be shut up against them if they lived in rebellion and sinned against Him; and conversely, He promised Solomon that with repentant heart and righteous living, His people's prayers will guarantee open heavens over their lives.

Are you living a life of obedience and righteousness?

Walking in God's Purpose — One of the ways for us to enjoy open heavens over our lives is to make a commitment to aligning with and walking in God's purpose for our lives. When we do this, God backs up His word in our lives with the whole of heaven's resources made available to fulfil His vision and call for our lives.

Are you walking in alignment with God's purpose for your life?

Faith — This is the building block that underpins every other thing that we have talked about.

It is the assurance of faith that we have in Christ Jesus, that guarantees us access to the throne room of God.

As the bible says in Ephesians 3:12b — “…in whom we have boldness and confident access to God because of Christ's faithfulness”.

As God did when Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal, and later when he declared to Ahab about God opening up the heavens to send down rain, God honoured Elijah because he honoured and declared God's words in faith. God responded to Elijah's faith by opening up the heavens to magnify His Name.

Child of God, God wants to do the same in your life as well.

Will you let Him? So all these points you have learnt today is also bring your life in right standing with the Lord as we prepare for His imminent snatching away.

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 9

Meditate on the points highlighted above and use them as a checklist to prepare yourself as we on day 9 for this month's fast. Is there anything you need to do or redress to position yourself for what we are praying to God for?

Begin to petition God based on His word and pray that you will begin to walk in the tangible manifestation of open heavens over your life—your household, family, ministry, business, finances, church etc.

Declare and confess over your life, that from today, you will begin to operate and live under open heavens. That God will open the heavens unto you and over you.

Declare that every area of your life will begin to manifest the blessings and evidence of open heavens in the Name of Jesus.

Invite God to use you – seek out every opportunity to pray for others to bring glory to the Lord – decree that signs, wonders and miracles will follow us

O Lord, by your mercy count me worthy to escape your wrath and judgement coming upon this world in these last days and to stand worthy before you to be raptured.

Holy Spirit that prepare the bride ready for You O Lord, Jesus. Prepare me to be ready for the rapture.

Whatever thing is in my life that will hinder me from rapture holy Spirit of God reveal them to me and deliver me today. Holy Spirit You that prepare the bride ready, prepare me ready for the rapture of the saints. I pray God will answer our prayers by His mercy in Jesus Mighty Name!

JESUS is coming. Stay ready in absolute repentance, watchfulness, and holiness.

DAY 10 THEME: “THE DAY OF ATONEMENT”

DATE: THURSDAY 16TH OF SEPTEMBER 2021

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Leviticus 23:26-28 “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 27 “Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. 28 And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.”

Today Jewish people around the world will be the Yom Kippur fast, which started at sunset September 15th to Night fall today 16th of September. It’s the most serious day of the year, a day on which God calls the children of Israel to “afflict their souls” (Lev. 16:31) and “to make an atonement . . . for all their sins once a year” (Lev. 16:34).

Jews believe that on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, God writes down in the “Book of Life” what will happen to each person in the coming year. The book is then left open for ten days (Days of Awe) until Yom Kippur, when it is closed. But in those ten days it is possible to plead for mercy from both God and your fellow men; God can still change what is written up for you in the coming year.

As you will see as we dig in deeper one of the more mysterious chapters in the Old Testament is Leviticus Chapter 16, concerning the 10th day of the Hebrew seventh month, the Day of Atonement (see Leviticus 23:26-32). Chapter 16 discusses a series of animal offerings for this occasion, including that of two goats with roles determined by lot, and Israel’s high priest entering the Holy of Holies of the physical tabernacle. It also commands a fast on this day.

Ultimately, Leviticus 16 points to the dual roles that God our Father gave to Jesus Christ to become both our High Priest and ultimate sacrifice for our sins, as well as pointing to the complete removal of the source of sin.

A SINLESS HIGH PRIEST

We read in Leviticus 16:4 that ancient Israel’s high priest was to bathe himself on this occasion, then put on his priestly attire. In Leviticus 16:5-6 we read that he was to offer a bull as a sin offering for himself and his own family. This is significant in that it shows that no human being is without sin, not even the earthly high priest (see Hebrews 5:1-3). As a man, he too needed forgiveness; he needed to be washed clean so that he could perform his priestly duties.

But Jesus Christ, our true High Priest sent from God, never needed forgiveness (Hebrews 3:1; Hebrews 7:26-28). He “was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15). Satan could never plant any of his evil nature in Him (John 14:30).

Israel’s high priest was to wear “the holy linen tunic and the linen trousers,” and “be girded with the linen sash” (Leviticus 16:4). This is similar to the clothing Christ wore when He appeared to the apostle John in a vision. Jesus was seen standing “in the midst of the seven lampstands . . . clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band” (Revelation 1:13). Some commentators note that the word translated “garment” here denotes priestly attire.

TWO GOATS—ONE FOR THE LORD, ONE FOR ANOTHER

Next, the high priest was to deal with the two goats. One would represent the Lord and the other, often called the “scapegoat,” would represent something else. He cast lots to determine which each would represent (Leviticus 16:8).

Note Leviticus 16:9: “And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering.” This goat, which represented the Lord, was sacrificed as a sin offering. It clearly stood for Jesus Christ, the ultimate sin offering who was slain for the sins of the whole world.

Since two goats were involved, many think both goats were to represent the Lord. But notice the contrast here in Leviticus 16:8: “One lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat”—or for Azazel, some Bible versions leaving the Hebrew word here untranslated. Clearly, only one goat was to represent the Lord. The other goat was not.

Note Leviticus 16:10: “But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat [or Azazel] shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.”

So, this goat was not to be killed as the goat for the Lord was. The high priest was to “lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites—all their sins—and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the wilderness in the care of someone appointed for the task. The goat will carry on itself all their sins to a remote place; and the man shall release it in the wilderness” (Leviticus 16:21-22, New International Version, emphasis added throughout).

This sending away into the desert is part of the reason for translating Azazel as scapegoat, or goat that escapes. But many scholars identify Azazel as the name of a demon inhabiting the wilderness.

It stands to reason that Azazel is one in stark contrast to the Lord—indeed, the ultimate enemy Satan the devil. So the goat here, the Azazel goat, represented Satan, or evil. No wonder Jesus found Satan out in the desert (Matthew 4:1-11). Deserts represent cursed places, devoid of God’s blessing.

Also for those of us familiar with images of the occult, we often know that they will use a goat, especially those in Satanism circles. Yes, from modern entertainment to music videos to ancient Norse religions to Greek religions, who incorporated goats as objects of worship. Now, in Satanist circles, they worship Baphomet and often glorify imagery of goats and statues, as goats represent stubbornness and evil. Remember for now satan the prince of this world is calling the shots during these wicked Endtime, but his days are coming to a close very soon and he knows it. But our hope alone is in Christ Jesus.

Christ bore our sins to the cross to pay the ransom price for them through His own blood (and the resurrected Christ was portrayed by the high priest presenting the slain goat’s blood before God). In contrast, Satan bears the blame for sin as he was the first to lead mankind astray in the Garden of Eden and continues to deceive humanity today (2 Corinthians 11:3). And he is the tempter (Matthew 4:3)—enticing the world into sin.

The high priest placing sins on the live goat and having it driven away parallels the future of Satan and his demons at Christ’s return. They will be removed at the outset of Jesus’ reign over the nations, as John describes in Revelation 20:1-3:

“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished . . .”

Jesus died for our sins. But Satan will bear blame for his role in our sins and be banished. And with the instigator of sin removed, the world will more easily be led to atonement, “at-one-ment,” meaning to be at one—with God.

Consider that if the live goat represented the resurrected Christ, then this would mean the sins Christ bore on the cross are placed back onto Him after His resurrection. Clearly this is not what happened.

And there is another distinction scholars have noted. We see that the Azazel goat was to be driven from the camp of Israel. In other words, this goat was not to dwell with humanity again. This banishment fits with Satan’s future. Yet it is the exact opposite of the role of Jesus Christ, who has promised to be with His people forever. “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’” (Hebrews 13:5).

JESUS AS HIGH PRIEST AND PERFECT SACRIFICE FOR ALL MANKIND

In Leviticus 16:17 we read of Israel’s high priest: “There shall be no man in the tabernacle of meeting when he goes in to make atonement in the Holy Place.” The high priest did this atonement work alone. Christ, too, did His work alone. Earlier, His disciples “all forsook Him and fled,” Mark 14:50. Indeed, He felt so totally alone that he cried out to His Father: “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46). At that point, Jesus alone bore the sins of all humanity.

And in His awesome sacrifice Jesus fulfilled the sacrificial system God gave to Israel (see Hebrews 9:13-14). The animal sacrifices on Atonement and those at other times ultimately pointed to the coming sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 10:4 states: “Because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.” And in Hebrews 10:8-10 we read: “First he said, ‘Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them’—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, ‘Here I am, I have come to do your will.’ He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all”

These verses plainly state that the sacrificial system is not necessary today—that we have the one sacrifice for us we need, that of Jesus Christ. Indeed, to His Father He “appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself” (Hebrews 9:26). This one-time sacrifice of our great High Priest once and for all is more than sufficient to pay for the sins of all of humanity.

Today, however, Jesus’ sacrifice and priestly work is properly accepted with repentance by only a few. But after He returns, all mankind will come to truly understand what He has done for us.

It’s interesting to note that Jesus’ sacrifice is portrayed vividly in the spring feast of Passover, the day on which He died, as well as in this fall Holy Day of Atonement. The “The Day of Atonement and Passover both teach us about the forgiveness of sin and our reconciliation with God through Christ’s sacrifice. However, Passover concerns the redemption of the firstborn and thus applies most directly to Christians whom God has called in this age, while Atonement carries universal implications.”

Christ’s sacrifice and intercessory work as our High Priest allows us to come before God’s throne continually (see Hebrews 4:14-16)—to enter the Holy of Holies in a spiritual sense—and cast Satan out of our lives now. But this will not be experienced by all Israel and the world at large until widespread repentance following Christ’s second coming and the full banishment of Satan from the world scene (as pictured in the fall feasts).

AN OBSERVANCE TO KEEP TODAY WITH FASTING

In Leviticus 23:27 God commanded ancient Israel: “This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month [i.e., Atonement], you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all” (see also Leviticus 23:31; Leviticus 23:26-32). This meant they were to fast—to go without food and water—for a period of 24 hours.

Psalms 35:13 says that King David humbled himself with fasting. The word “humbled” is anah in the Hebrew, which is the same word we find in Leviticus 23:27, translated as afflict. Thus, to afflict one’s soul or being refers to the humbling process we go through when we fast. This day of fasting is for the purpose of humbling ourselves before God in a repentant and obedient frame of mind—to practice self-control with God’s help as we seek Him.

This time of fasting is not for the purpose of appearing to other people to be righteous (Matthew 6:16). Fasting as a display to others is hypocritical and vain. Scripture tells us that we are to fast only for the glory of God (Zechariah 7:5).

Fasting typifies the kind of humble, repentant, and obedient attitude we as Christians must have. Christ promised that in the ages following His first coming, His disciples would fast on occasion (Matthew 9:15).

The Day of Atonement is still mentioned long after Christ’s death and resurrection as “the Fast” in Acts 27:9. Paul and his gentile companion Luke were still observing this Holy Day by fasting. Many biblical commentaries acknowledge that verse is indeed referring to the Day of Atonement. Certainly, if Paul, the apostle to the gentiles, observed this day, then Christians are free (1 Corinthians 11:1) to observe this day as well. But we must understand the necessity of the Day of Atonement was rendered void by Jesus’ death on the cross with our debt being paid!

Leviticus 16 is a remarkable chapter in portraying two of the major roles of Jesus Christ. The Old Testament high priest typified the role of Christ as our ultimate High Priest. And the goat which was slaughtered was a type of the one great sacrifice our loving Father gave for the entire world, so that, in the words of John 3:16, “whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

PRAYER FOCUS DAY 10:

PERSONAL PRAYER SAID BEFORE YOM KIPPUR:

Here I stand, lacking in good deeds and in fear and trembling before the throne of the God of Israel. I come before you to beg for mercy for your people Israel who have sent me. Even though I am unworthy and unsuited for the task, I plead to you, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob: Lord, Lord, compassionate and merciful, God, Shaddai, awesome and fearsome. May you bring success to my task of pleading for compassion for me and for those who sent me. Do not reckon my sin or my evil deeds against them, for I am a sinner and evildoer. May they not be put to shame by the evil I have done, nor may I be put to shame because of them. And receive my prayers as of one the elders who has a good reputation among the people. Rebuke Satan not to mislead me. And may love to you be the essence of our prayers. And cover all our misdeeds with love in Yeshua Might Name!

• Lord, we pray for the people around us who do not realize You are coming soon and first are coming to snatch away Your bride, so please awaken their hearts in Jesus Mighty Name!

• Please show us the things in our lives that are not surrendered to You to make us rapture ready. We give these things to You and ask You to change our hearts.

• Please continue to shape our characters and prepare us for Your coming.
